Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 Being open minded is good.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 i dunno, my sense of humor, and it dont fit well really
Guest Marshall Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 So, how did you become an ANP mark, anyways? Though View Askew
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 isntViewAskew some sort of KevinSmith reference
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 I have no idea what view askew is. I thought Davy was just rambling.
Guest Marshall Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 Kevin Smith and Brian Lynch (ANP writer/founder) are friends. Kevin Smith helped fund Brians first film, "Big Helium Dog.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 I see, is "Big Helium Dog" a short film?
Guest Marshall Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 It wasnt realised because it wasnt "marketable"
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 It doesn't sound too mareketable.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 It sounds like a steaming pile of shit from the title alone.
Guest Marshall Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 A review: Â Â Big Helium Dog is one of the funniest movies I've seen in the past few years. The simple story, about a guy who is trying to reconcile his feelings after the death of his best friend, is encased in a series of related, and unrelated tangents. The structure was described by the director, Bryan Lynch, as reminiscent of an episode of Sesame Street. While that is true, his comments should be expanded upon. It's Sesame Street on crack. This is a wildly funny movie that is somewhat reminiscent of "Hollywood Shuffle" in structure. When it is released, make sure to stay through the closing credits or else miss an unbelievably funny sequence that is highlighted by a great line from Gary Dell'Abate (of Howard Stern fame). I cannot wait to see this one again.
Guest Marshall Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 It sounds like a steaming pile of shit from the title alone. Am guessing you like Austin Powers and American Pie movies.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 I don't like American Pie, but I did enjoy Austin Powers 1 and 2, I haven't seen Goldmember yet.
Guest Marshall Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 You mark out for what your told to mark out for.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 I don't. I actually don't like most TV shows and Films that people consider great.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 American Pie is the most overrated comedy series, when I saw that in theaters people laughed at absolutley every fucking line
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 American Pie did suck. I actually bought it on DVD expecting a great film, but was hugely dissapointed. I don't even think I laughed once, I hate immature comedy.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 you'd think so, but thats not the case
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 Is being a Wrestling fanboy not enough?
