Sapphire's dead.

Linda Miles will gain 300 pounds instead.

Post of the day.

Christopher Nowinski, our Tough Enough lad with the Harvard degree, is rapidly becoming a student of the game.

The game?

Or....*gulp* The Game?

If the latter, someone stop him now! Before long, he'll be holding down guys like Maven, and....oh wait, that's not a bad thing....

Kevin Nash has to main event to make the nWo a credible force. He's the only main eventer they got (HBK is inactive).

I don't like either the cause or effect in this equation.

How about {Booker T, RVD, Benoit and Guerrero} have to main event to make the world a better place.

?

if you arent at a mutated height, you arent making the main event without being over (or banging the writer)

1. Kevin Nash, main eventer. We're all thinking it, so I'll just say it: Brock better be sure to stay away from people resembling Scott Hall, especially if the're carrying tasers.

2. Pat Patterson + "Taxi Cab Confessions" = jokes

3. Hey JR. Wanna know why we're gonna bitch about Cena going too far, too fast? Because he IS!!!

4. Does it worry anyone else that not even JR knows what happened to Kanyon?

5. uhhhhhhhh...

i think that was it.

Just wanted to say real quick, I actually enjoyed reading the Ross Report this week. For some reason, I get the vibe that JR has finally come down to earth, and is being a little more realistic about things. Just seems that way from reading this Ross Report compared to all the other ones.

All the other ones seem jaded or cynical, and him talking about injuries and HOSSES~! This one, I don't know. JR's a good guy in the back, seems like he knows what he's doing. Don't know why, but today is the ifrst day in al ong time I don't feel like criticizing him...

Maybe it's because he didn't say how "big of a main event star" Chris Jericho is without sending me into a fullfledged angry Jericholic rant.

Booker T and Goldust have started to really develop a following, thanks in large part to their recent backstage vignettes. It would be great if both these talents continue to elevate and become more significant box office performers.

Not that Jr wants them to, though

Nope - can't agree. If the guy feels the need to talk down to the majority of his roster from his safe, cushy internet column by applauding one of the biggest asskissers in the business and making cute references to Raven and Pat Patterson, then he should get shit-canned.

Speaking of Boston, when in the name of the blessed Mother will the roadwork there be completed? Enough is enough! And another thing, don't the sports fans of Boston ever get tired of bashing the New York Yankees? I understand the intensity of the rivalry, but this is borderline obsessive behavior. I felt legitimate hate coming through my radio!

The roadwork will never get finished and the Big Dig was a stupid idea from the start.

Why wouldn't we hate the Yanks? They crushed our hopes for WS wins many times, so they're is legitimate hate from some.

Kevin Nash does not draw as a main eventer, when will they figure this out?

I understand Bret "Hitman" Hart is improving after suffering a stroke recently, and that is good news.

I'm suprised Jim Ross didn't mention any type of "the WWE, Vince McMahon, and I offer our get well greetings" or something of that measure. It was like "Oh yeah, Bret Hart had a stroke.....moving on"........

Someone should make a video montage, containing clips from all the years that the Yankees squashed the hopes of BoSox fans everwhere, set to "Another One Bites The Dust"

YANKEES SUCK! LONG LIVE THE SOX!!!!

Actually, I detest baseball. But it's just sooooooooo much fun to jump on the Yankees hate wagon.

Hey JR. Wanna know why we're gonna bitch about Cena going too far, too fast? Because he IS!!!

I don't know, I'm not minding Cena's push. I already like him better than Brock, and he's the one getting the monster push.

Does it worry anyone else that not even JR knows what happened to Kanyon?

Hey, right here.

I fear that Kanyon will have the words "Exclusive Heat talent" stuck behind his name sometime soon.

Isn't it ironic that AS hates HHH so much, but he marks for the Yankees, which is kind of like baseballs equivalent to him?

I just find it ridiculous that the same guy who sat by and did nothing while all hell broke loose on "The Flight From Hell" is now chiding the wrestlers for not being as studious as Chris Nowinski. Sorry - too little, too late, JR.

And if Chris is really sitting down and watching tapes...then what the hell is he watching? It's not like I'm seeing any Flair/Steamboat creeping into his matches or anything.

Just remember, he's studying WWE in ring action. And this is the orginization that sees fit to have a huge fat ass beat up on a technical master.

Kevin Nash does not draw as a main eventer, when will they figure this out?

Okay, so Kevin Nash didn't draw as a babyface WWF champion in 1995. So what? Maybe he can draw as a monster heel in 2002. I think that he can draw. Why?

1. He was the lowest-drawing WWF champion of all time, but when he turned heel in 1996, he and Taker and he and Shawn did big business. Don't believe me? "Good Friends, Better Enemies" (which Nash headlined with Shawn) was a major turning point from a financial standpoint for the WWF. From May 1996-1997, the WWF did the best business that they had done since 1990, and it all started with that pay-per-view and that match. Nash made Shawn a credible champion, bottom line.

2. Nash's star power has at least tripled since 1995, thanks to his highly successful run as one of the founding fathers of the nWo. He was one of the big (and only) draws in the old WCW.

But more importantly, the WWE has no choice but to push Nash as a main eventer. Remember, they need to make the nWo a force, and the only way to make the nWo a force is to place them in the main event mix. Who else is going to main event? Big Show is not over and is possibly even worse in the ring than Nash. X-Pac draws more heel heat than anyone else in the group, but he's never been perceived as a credible threat outside of the cruiserweight division. Shawn can't wrestle. That leaves Nash, and HHH...if he does indeed join.

I think that we should at least give Nash a chance. He says he's in the best shape of his life, and I think that he has something to prove now that he's back in the WWE. Remember this: he wasn't motivated at all in WCW, which may have contributed to his rep as "Big Lazy". Call me crazy, but I'm taking what Vince said to Nash on RAW as a shoot. I think that Nash HAS to live up to expectations, and I think that he knows that.

I wonder how long it will be before the WWF pulls their Stacker 2 commercials off the air. It's only a matter of time before an incident happens (Tough Enough 2) and everyone starts frowning upon fat burning stimulants.

I have been watching WWF tv to see Booker T for a long time and I'm glad that I'm not the only now. I really hope they don't fuck up Booker T's push.

Pushing Kevin Nash isn't going to help business at all. The only entertainment that he provides me with is laughing at how bad he is in the ring. The guy can't even get clotheslined over the top rope without fucking it up.

While Chris Nowinski might be doing the right thing in the eyes of management, I don't think he is trying to show anyone up by appearing early. He could be doing it to kiss ass or he could be doing it to get better.

If they want Bubba Ray to team up with a Dudley, I would rather it be D-Von than Spike. If they really believe that he is stale, they need changing his attire isn't going to suddenly propel him to the top. Pairing him with Spike isn't helping him get away from the whole Dudley Boys gimmick, and if he isn't going to be weened off of it, they should just pair him up with D-Von.

I believe it's already been stated that Johnny Ace is being groomed to take over for Jim Ross.

"I have been watching WWF tv to see Booker T for a long time and I'm glad that I'm not the only now. I really hope they don't fuck up Booker T's push."

They fucked up Booker T's push the minute they had him join the NWO. It seems Booker and Goldust are still popular in spite of the horrible booking.

As for Ross sounding resigned, he seems tired and has come across that way for months now. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the next major wwf casualty.

I think it's more ironic that both Hunter and Nu Salt like to hold down Cruiserweights.

Hunter: "I-uh don't like-uh that flip-flopey crap-uh."

I'm far from his biggest fan or anything, but I have No problem with Nash being used towards the top as long as he puts people over like Hogan and Flair have been.

But then again, he probably won't so screw using him!

As much as I hate to say it, I think the main event scene could benefit from Nash's presence, at least for the short term. I think Nash could freshen things up a bit and can be used to help get some of the younger talent over.
