Why do you still watch Pro. Wrestling?

I watch wrestling out of love and respect for the buisness . I've been watching every since I was 5 years old . I remeber watching Paul Bosch wrestling here in Houston and I was just addicted from then on . I remember One Man Gang vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a strap match at my 1st live event I ever went to and thinking I want to come here every week and never miss a thing . Now days I just watch and hold on to that small bit of hope that I got inside that maybe one day there will be a new generation of wrestlers that can make me feel like I was a kid again holding on to every second of the action and wondering what was gonna happen next , instead of know EXACTLY what is gonna happen . I think that it might just happen yet beacuse the newer WWF guys like Cena , Batista , and Orton , look like they might just be the ones to step up and do it .

I still watch wrestling because there's always the "what if?" factor invovled. Although most of the things that happen are predictable, there's always that swerve that Vince could pull and could gain a huge following. Like, for instance, what if Shawn Michaels were to wrestle one last match with Triple H. I've always wanted to see what those two could do, but neither are in their prime and it would suck most likely. As tempted as I am to turn off the tv (NWO's arrival, Austin's departure) I still sometimes tune in for a quick instant to catch some of my favorites (Booker T, Kurt Angle) entertain me......

I watch Wrestling becasue I love it. It has been the number 1 form of entertainment that I have lived with. I can't really remember NOT watching wrestling, and I am 15. It is sort of part of my life. I tried not watching it once, but that stopped in a whole two weeks. It is addicting and I find it very entertaining. And even though it isn't "cool" to watch it anymore, I still do. My friends think I'm crazy, but I don't care. Wrestling is entertaining and even if it isn't great right now, it is still good and I beleive that it will get better.

I can barely remember life without wrestling. There is still good stuff going on. I hate the WWF far less now than I did during the Vince Russo era, which was the only time I ever watched WCW almost exclusively.

 

If it got so bad that I had to quit watching, I would, but keep an eye on the Net as I still find it entertaining. As soon as it starts looking better, I will give it another shot. I will never quit watching wrestling. At most I will quit the current product, but keep watching the old school stuff on tape and DVD.
