this is a sign from God. God does not want Nash in the wrestling ring. He wants the NWO to fail. in essence, this means three down, two to go.

nash. hhh= hurt.

hall= fired

now if they can get xpunk and hbk off my screen i'll be the first to wave goodbye

Linda/Harvard v. Bradshaw/Trish was the worst match of the year on Raw, maybe all of tv. Can anyone come up with one that was worse.

I wanted Benoit to punk out Nash when he saw him backstage "Vanilla Midget this....."

Tazz Vs Perfect from Raw in February is the only one I can think of that comes close. That first blown spot looked like it was Trish's fault though. The thing I didn't like was that they tried to pass that horrible offense as credible. Anyone with common sense would have no-sold those incredibly botched spots and tried to improvise something else so as not to look like a weak competitor or a freaking tool.

Man, this board is really sad sometimes. How people can have so much hate for people that they have never met, and only hate people because of things that they have "heard from the grapevine" baffles me.

Nash hurt himself.. rejoice!

That's fucking inhumane!

I just remembered that Nash has bad knees that prevented him from pursuing a basketball career, and didnt he hurt it while in WCW? Oh well, if I was Vince I would fire him, this is just getting ridiculous, even though deep down I am a Kliq.

You just have to ignore those people man. There are just too many people who think that just because you have the internet, it gives you the right to be an asshole.

Nash slipped on some ice during the winter of 99(or in January of 2000) and broke his foot(?). It's part of the reason the last version of the WCW NWO failed miserably.

It sucks what happened to Nash. I wonder what this will mean to the NWO though. Hopefully this will mean the end of the NWO, but it would probably mean more Triple H. *twirls finger* Joy...

HEY, I liked Wheelchair Commish Kevin Nash, so this will be welcomed.

My Raw Thoughts:

It Sucked.

You know, usually I enjoy raws. I will complain about storylines, I will complain about direction, I will complain about matches and feuds and the like, but when it comes down to it, every monday and thursday night I sit down, turn off my thinkin cap, and let my brain ooze into Wwf programming. I usually like raws that everyone else ends up hating, and that's fine with me.

But not tonight. It was just god awful. Benoit and Guerrero are dead, the Wwf has killed them. It's disgusting to see the two hardest working motherfuckers on the roster get such a lacklustre push, ESPECIALLY Benoit. Yeah, he is a net darling, but you cannot deny the fact that he WAS the workhorse of the Wwf before his surgery, he DID put on multiple MOTYC in 2001, and the push he got upon his return was BULLSHIT. Ah, enough venting. The Benoit curse strikes again, first HHH, now Nash. Pac, you're next.

The only part worth being positive about was the Lesnar/Dreamer/RVD/Heyman skit.

Next week, they should bring Kenny from Tough Enough 2 on RAW and make Jackie give up her contract to him.

Whose fault were those blown spots? Was it Jackie? On the first one Trish just seemed to jump into the ropes like she expected Jackie to do something else entirely. And on the Bulldog that wasn't, she was still standing, which made Trish look really bad, but isn't it her fault for not falling, which would have might have might the spot almost believable.

Anyway, obvious massive miscommunication on someone's part. I think Harvard and Bradshaw left the ring during the match and never came back because they were embarassed.

I say put Jackie in with Stacey Keibler and which the missed spots a plenty.

You can't send her back. That's the sad thing. I don't know if she was ever at a training camp.

Was she?

The main problem I had with the Trish match was her going for the cover and Jackie allowing the 3 like no one would notice. At least have the courtesy of trying another finish.

Trish has improved a lot, but she just doesn't have the skills to cover up a botched spot or improvise a new finish. Especially with someone like Jackie.

I wonder how many WWE wrestlers do.

This Raw was such a total schitzo train wreck. I mean, how can one show have some of the best stuff I've seen this year along with some of the worst shit ever? The whole Jackie/Trish segment was awful and the worst wrestling I've ever seen. I winced twice during that match.

And of course the whole Nash thing was bizarre and strange. I almost expected something like that to happen to him. Hell it happened to Jerry Rice after he was hurt. It was like a perverse joke.

Then you have a segment like the RVD Van Terminator thing, which was incredible. Anyone who thought Shane's was better is nuts. Shane had a large garbage can there. RVD had the chair with him, which I've never seen (in ECW Alfonso held the chair). It was really cool...I found myself wondering why he didn't save that spot for Brock at the PPV though.

With Nash...I thought it was definatly a work...but then I see Bubba talking to him. While I don't really like Nash, I feel sorry for the guy. I mean he was out for 3 months, 5 seconds in his comeback and is injured again. Poor guy.

This is true. I really think that trish did a good job by just fuckin ending it so that we no longer had to be subjected to that chamber of horrors.

Hey everyone. I was at the Raw, and yea the crowd was dead. Sorry I can't decide what makes them cheer. They were all going ballistic for the ECW references though. Any questions about the crowd?

Yeah, why improvise a new finish anyway when they couldn't hit the moves they were supposed to do?

Incidentally, I think this whole Nash situation is probably going to really mess things up for awhile. This is the sort of match that could taint all those involved. Booker's push had to be handled carefully, especially with the hinted HHH involvement. Now, I could see him getting blamed for the whole thing (unfairly) and being sent to job on Heat.

It might also changed whatever plans they had for HHH/NWO. They seemed to be leaning towards Heel NWO/Face HHH feud, but that could change now that they're down another wrestler. Unless they pick up a new member who can actually be in the ring.

It looks like they will have to go for the Heel HHH instead. I really don't think it's smart putting a new member in the group that has no connection to the group...other then Billy Gunn...nobody has a relationship with HBK/Xpac/HHH.

C'mon guys, it's not like the Wwf had anything planned beyond 2 weeks for the NWO, Nashs' injury will only mean more mic time for HHH and HBK.

<_< My review of Raw was: Pretty decent show. Nice to see Flair win a match by submission. Booker v Guerrero was good. Pretty interesting spot with Lesnar and RVD. Hated seeing Nash injured.

As for the remarks on the board: As usual, bitch, bitch, bitch. Along with doses of whining and complaining. Damn, if you all did not get a worthy effrort from the wrestlers to entertain. I'm starting to see what Jericho was talking about. And to cheer a man get a legit injury. Well you kids on the board need to grow up some. Im sure when you all break, tear or dismember something you all wont mind other people laughing at your misfortune. You all probably laughed your ass off when SCSA had the stinger from Owen. Wonder what the reaction would have been if the Smark god Benoit had messed up his ankle???? Whopeee???? I dont think so. Oh well, go back and watch Faces Of Death I, II, III or whatever...

If you actually enjoyed Raw this week (hey, I have been enjoying wwf television for a while now, I turn off my brain just like everyone else who can manage to enjoy it) then your head is up Jerichos ass.

Booker/Eddie had no real flow to it, the crowd seemed dead, the chemistry was horrible with Booker working a few steps behind Eddie and fuck, there was no reason to care about it.

Flair vs. Richards was nothing. NOTHING. I mean, you ask any one on Friday to say what happened on Raw 9/10 will forget to mention this. What did it do? What did it further? Are there going to be all these 'young up and comers' tryin to take down flair? Fuck, LESNAR DID IT LAST WEEK~! The figure-4 was nice to see for the win, but no set up to a move that gets a win 3/10 times even if flair had been working the leg for 15 minutes just doesn't make sense. Yeah, nit-picking, but if it can't hold up to criticism then it is it's own fault, is it not?

The 10 man had potential, I was excited for it since the Wwf does multi-man tags really, really well. But, obviously, it fell apart.

Well everyone's entitled to their opinion, even if it's not a popular one, but if people didn't like the show, don't expect everyone to get on here and give it glowing praises. The show was bad, IMO. Not from an over-analytical smark-type standpoint. The show did little for me as a fan aside from the ECW segment, and judging from the crowd reactions, marks weren't too blown away by the show either.

I am half and half on this show.

I think the WWE is realising the potential in Booker T finally, as he was pretty much the focus of the show.

It seems a little disjointed bringing Benoit and Guerrero into the Booker/nWo feud... I am assuming that the feuds will be switching soon, with Booker and Golddust fighting North & South of the Border (ok, not really south of the border, but it's a cool name for Benoit/Guerrero).

Seems like they really had something with the 10-man tag. But I almost felt like I was being cheated... that a match with that much potential mark-out value should have been on PPV... like the Canadian Stampede match.

I am so glad we have the roster split... if we didn't there's no way that match would have taken place last nite. We'd have UT-Angle again, with a different screwjob finish. I'll take what we got last night over a repeat of smackdown again.

Also, I loved the Harvard video segment. My fiancee is an alum of Princeton, and was a coxswain for crew and always talked about the crew girls looking like Chyna (sorry papacita) and when he walked past the boat house and said "All the butch chicks hang out there" I cracked up. I'll be going to the Princeton store to get me a "Beat Harvard" shirt this fall, so I can wear it to the Survivor Series. (MSG, bay-bee!)
