Guest jester Report post Posted July 9, 2002 I was only half paying attention, but other than that atrocious blown top-rope bulldog, it didn't seem any better or worse than the usual women's matches. But I was only half paying attention, so... Oh man, it was much worse than your average women's match. This one probably did more to undermine the credability of the women's division than 10 bra and panties matches, comments about Molly's ass, or Lawler drooling "puppies!" In addition to the botched bulldog, Trish just sort of jumped into the ropes for no apparent reason (apparently Jackie was supposed to do something here), and even the moves they didn't botch looked very feeble. I thought it was brutal, and I used to watch and enjoy WOW when it was on. Think about that one. jester edit: Even JR said "Mercifully, it's over" when Trish made the pin, and the crowd BOOED the rope spot. PS: One a side note, I didn't hear Lawler bleat "puppies" or make comments about Molly' ass. Did he, on tonight of all nights decide to lay off for once, or did I just miss it? Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Jackie wasn't the only reason that match sucked. Trish didn't exactly look like Rick Steamboat out their either. She over shot the bulldog attempt but jackie wasn't skilled enough to realize she had to sell it all the way or not at all.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Oh my God, where shall I begin? First off, you are f*cking crazy for even mentioning her ass going to OVW. She is not worthy after the sh*t fest that was put on tonight of even being given the honor to "perform", or should I say, "suck a big one", in any federation. After watching that match tonight, I can safely, without a doubt, no questions asked, say... ...worst, match, ever, PERIOD. I saw Hero's of Wrestling, and I can say with full confidence that anything on that ass crust of a PPV was much better than this. At least The Iron F'n Sheik knows how to at least wobble around the ring the right way at his age. At least a drunken Jake the Snake can still hit the ropes and effectively through a punch. At least anyone else on that f'n PPV knows how to revieve ANY type of offense. Hell, I have never seen a first time, rookie, never had a match before, Indy guys do as bad as her, and that is saying something. Honestly, I have no clue which was worse. Her horrible, "I'm good and you just ain't good", mic "skill" or her "wrestling" talent. Oh, I take that back, I DO know which is worse, and it ISN'T her mic "skill. If anything, I took it as a personal insult that they allowed such feces to be allowed to be shown on my TV. It insults me as both a TV viewer looking for entertainment, and also a life long Pro. Wrestling fan. This match was the worst of the worst, and even JR and Lawler acknowledged the pile of crap that was just seen by us all, it was just that f'n horrible. Yes, we know know that she did SOMETHING to get this gig in WWE and it SURE as hell wasn't by being the better wrestler than Jake or Kenny. I can picture it now, all of the guys who pick the Tough Enough winners sitting around the room. Someone mentions one of the guys because they knack for picking up the sport, their in ring talent, and their love for the sport. Then, out of no where someone goes... ...well, she has two big ol' titties, I say she's in! Everyone agrees, because God knows we can't have too many titties running around, and she has a job. If it didn't go down that way, then she must have pleasured someone, because she sure as hell ain't no wrestler, that is for damn sure. I mean, I would rather watch any other female in WWE right now than what I saw tonight, and that is saying quit a bit. When she got into the ring tonight, first thing, I knew something was up. Everything she did from begining to end was complete and utter crap. From her punching, to taking a bunch, to her taking the "being thrown over Bradshaw's back", to the Stratisfaction, to the atrocious finish to the match. It was painful, and she has NO PLACE WHAT SO EVER to EVER be on WWE programing ever again. Oh, I forgot though... ...she has two big ol' titties, and like I said before, we can't have two many of THOSE running around. In closing she doesn't deserve even going to OVW. I say ditch the bitch while you can, sit her at hom, do something, but keep her the hell away from me and my sport...PERIOD! Sincerely, ...Downhome... I try my damnedest to look on the bright side of things, I think I've made that clear in my time being here so far, but you know... ...there is no bright side to an ass leak, and that is what I saw tonight. I said it before, and I'll say it again. It was the worst display of the sport ever, and that is that.

I felt bad for Jackie after this because I know she is going to get chewed out and possibly fired. This was beyond lousy though. This was not the way to build up new stars. We can not however blame Jackie totally for this. Hell, WWE gave her a chance to go on national TV and I'm sure most would jump at that chance. We must also be angry at WWE at this moment, as they ALLOWED this to take place. I mean, there is no way in hell they couldn't have NOT seen this coming is there? I see no way that they didn't know she wasn't up to par, as you can't just go out there and all of a sudden be the worst ever. Oh God... ...if I was Jake or Kenny I'd be a flaming anger beast about right now. Too bad for them they don't have two big ol' titties, sorry guys!

Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted July 9, 2002 One thing you have to wonder though is why Trish was told to go for a top rope bulldog in the first place. When does Trish ever hit anyone with a top rope bulldog? Its always either a springboard bulldog or a regular bulldog. Why break out a top rope bulldog in a match against someone who has about 2 months of wrestling experience. Another thing, Trish just jumps right by Jackie, onto to 1st rope and expects her to have the presence of mind to try and hit a move afterwards. Trish is far from being a veteran or a ring general, and a couple of decent matches where molly and jazz carry her aren't going to make me think otherwise. Trish is as much to blame as Jackie (even though Jackie was really fucking bad).
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 9, 2002 You know... back when I first saw Jackie on Velocity and she couldn't even shove Linda off the top turnbuckle right, I knew it wasn't a good thing. If only I had complained more then... if only... I'm just glad with my short attention span I was paying more attention to chatting than the match, as I missed the whole thing. Guest thefrenchargel Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Man, I'd hate to be her going back to the backstage area, and have to look Fit Finlay in the eye. She needs a good stretching from Fit and Deano Machino for that stinkjob. Don't be expecting her back on TV anytime soon. Too bad they had to suck it up, the women's division was really becoming something to actually LOOK FORWARD to, and I NEVER thought I'd say that. Finlay and Malenko have done wonders with training the ladies. Cheers to them, Jeers for sticking someone green and unathletic out there in prime time, only to have her totally disintegrate. Guest Stezton Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Jeers for sticking someone green and unathletic out there in prime time, only to have her totally disintegrate. Amen. I don't know if she's even truly ready for Velocity or Heat. Personally get her off my tv screen. Whether you send her to OVW or fire her, I don't care. Guest buffybeast Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Where has Linda Miles been lately? I can't add anything more than what has already been stated. That "match" last night was abysmal. The match on SD last week between Torrie and Stacy was leaps and bounds better than this one. For the life of me I can't understand why Jackie was chosen. I think Linda may have some potential, Jackie may have some deep down too. But I can't say that Jackie was better than Kenny or Jake.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Damn!If she is one of the tough enough winners then those 2 guys really deserve to loose if she was better than them. That is why I refuse to watch TE because it's an insult to the wrestling business, and in Mick Foley's words " it's faker than wrestling". I feel bad for those indies wrestlers out there busting their asses in the ring for a couple of dollars so they could get one try-out in the WWE. Meanwhile WWE and MTV is trying to tell us that Jackie, Maven and the rest of those wannabees are ready for the big leagues. The only one that has really impress me from all of them is Chris Harvard, and thats b/c he was trained by Killer Kowalski and did the indies for a while. Hopefully they send Jackie and Maven back to OVW because they are not ready for mondays and thursdays nights.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 9, 2002 Why break out a top rope bulldog in a match against someone who has about 2 months of wrestling experience. Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted July 9, 2002 I think Harvard Chris messed up as well. When he ran in and broke up a pinfall, Trish just kind of laid there too long and glared over at him with the "what the hell are you doing" look. That is when all the chaos began.
