Only problem is Heyman books SmackDown.

True enough...but he does have some stroke.

And his protecting RVD is the only reason RVD isn't in the Saturn roll on Jakked IMO.

He gets sloppy without the constraints...like the ladder match.

I think Benoit's as good on the mic as RVD, except the accents a little heavy.

Honestly, I cannot understand it, I am not going to disagree with you guys but from my perspective, he is better than he was, but still is a sloppy spot wrestler. If anyone gets moved up I would want benoit or eddy, eddy can wrestle, and when he wants is great on the mic, benoit can wrestler, but needs a mouthpiece. IMO those 2 get tenure over RVD, RVD needs a lot of polish before he goes to the showroom

Only problem with Eddy is the way he is talks is kind irritating. Not the emotions but the Homies and Essas all the time is getting on my nerves.

brain...heyman books smackdown? I did not know that, thanks for the info. BPS he has gotten better, but still sloppy and not consistent, consistency is the rock, and that's why he is who he is. And that's coming froma rock hater, just cause I dislike him, I still have to give him his due

anyone ever saw the promo benoit cut on sabu after double tables? It was realy really good, too bad he didn't keep the ball rolling. As for eddy, His accent now is annoying, when he did the cheat to win gimmick in wcw, his interviews were gold.

Okay, first of all RVD has been putting on great matches since he's entered the WWF (WWE) and now some people backstage are "impressed" with his Van Terminator? I mean, we all knew he could do it before he even stepped in a WWE ring and the higher-ups backstage should've known that too. It's clear that RVD will become the WWE champion in a relatively short time and he'll always be over, I mean is there anyone who doesn't like RVD? If you don't I want to here it because he is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

RVD is a rare character...He does not need to use the mic...so his "Badness" on the mic does not cost him like it does to the worst mic worker of all time, Chris Beniot. Whose "Prove Me Wrong" show how creative he isn't.

I'm as big an RVD fan as there is...but I would never go so far as to call him a great wrestler.

Greatly improved...yes.

What I would say is he is one of the most entertaining wrestlers ever.

But to be fair...many times the excitement for me comes from the potential for a train wreck.

Whether it be him breaking a leg doing that kick of the top rope (which I swear is gonna happen sooner or later) or watching and waiting for a missed spot that will end his career.

Besides all that though...he's improved to a point I never thought he'd get too.

I WOULD go as far to say that RVD is a good wrestlers. He seems to seemlessly blend styles while staying true to his character. Part of his gimmick in ECW was that he was so stoned he had no fear and would try anything. But he wasn't portrayed as a "dumb" character, though. I feel he is a great high-flyer, spot worker, good LEG striker, and a master at the hardcore style(not garbage wrestling). His promos are IN character, so it doesn't matter what they're like, although I think they're good.

When your character(and real personality)is that of a stoner you can pretty much act however you want.

I think the reason that RVD doesn't get the mega push is because if he were WWE Champion, you'd have the change practically the whole main event card. RVD is quick and speedy with risky, high flying moves. Is Undertaker going to try that spot we saw on Raw or one like it? How about Triple H? The main eventers rarely climb the ropes, except when they're getting in. They couldn't keep up with him and would look like boring slugs next to him.

Rock and Angle still have the energy, but they don't do spots like RVD. You'd have to call in other high flyers, which means bringing up the cruiserweights. And we all know how likely that is to happen.

"Whose "Prove Me Wrong" show how creative he isn't."

Or it just shows how un-creative the so called creative team is considering they've had a year to come up with something new for him.

I don't see the point about RVD changing the whole main event scene. I mean, we have seen from his stuff with UT that Taker doesn't have to change his style all that much to mesh with RVD. They just have to do their thing and allow RVD to do his stuff, and usually a good match results.

If anything, RVD in the main event would be interesting because he has had good matches with the established stars, but he could also defend the title against cruisers or mid carders and have cool matches.
