Guest Si82 Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Just been watching the DVD version of "Stone Cold Steve Austin: What?". That match against Ricky Steamboat from Bash At The Beach 1994 is great! Good DVD.

Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted July 15, 2002 Currently re-watching the 3rd Ring Of Honor tape, "A Night Of Appreciation". The in-ring work is great as expected, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how good the backstage vignettes are. The two that stuck out to me were the one with Rudy Boy Gonzalez and his students in the stairwell before the Gauntlet Match (two great quotes from that: Spanky (doing a great Jim Barnett impression) - "What do we have here? Looks like a bunch of DING-A-LING jabronies!", and Paul London - "I break ankles." (The execution of the line was great)), and the ending vignette with Spanky, AmDrag, Low Ki, Donovan Morgan, and Christopher Daniels (Spanky's "Pizza Song" was pretty damn funny). The AJ Styles-Low Ki match was tremendous, Spanky vs. AmDrag from the Gauntlet match was great, and the undercard show-stealer award has to go to Mamaluke vs. Briscoe (loved the mat wrestling sequences). Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted July 16, 2002 Just finished The Free For All video from Coliseum. The matches wren't great but there were 8 of them in an hour which is fine with me since my attention span is pretty short and I tend to fall asleep watching them (Not that the tapes are bad, but I watch them on my bed so I drift off in a slumber from time to time). God Bless The WWF's Grand Slams, Survivor Series 1998, Wrestling Classic, Best of WWF Volume 8, and Free For All for appeasing my fickle tastes in matches. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted July 20, 2002 Just bought and watched 3 tapes from a local video store (I am planning, one of these days, to just go around to all the small time video stores to see how much wrestling they have... I am 1 for 1 so far!). WWF High Flyers - Ok tape, not really mind blowing stuff, but then again it's from around 1989... I *NEED* to get more Jumping Bomb Angels...NEED TO! Wham Bam BodySlam - This was much better. It had a nifty tag match between Bret/Bulldog vs. Owen/Anvil and a KICK ASS match between Bull Nakano/Alundra Blayze. I need more Bull Nakano YESTERDAY! And I just bought the 87 GAB Wargames between Flair/Dillon/Luger/Arn/Tully and Dusty/Road Warriors/Paul Ellering/Nikita Koloff which went WAY beyond my expectations. Just amazing fucking stuff.
