Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted July 12, 2002 NWA: TNA News & Notes: Russo, Ladder Match, Nash, More Posted By Ashish on 07.12.02 The following news and notes are from Jeremy Borash and the "From The Inside" news column available on NWATNA.com. -TNA has gotten great feedback for the show this week. -Says he is amazed that Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara are working together again. He is happy to see them put aside their personal differences for the common goal. -A ladder match between Jeff Jarrett and Malice has been added to the card for the next TNA show. Also on the card, Scott Hall vs. Brian Lawler, Puppet vs. Meatball, and AJ Styles vs. Low Ki for the X-Title. -Said the TNA talent is very into the product. Said they all watch the show backstage, stick around after the show, etc. -Jerry Jarrett was apparently upset that Bill Behrens was still gagged 15 minutes after that segment aired. Vince Russo apparently thought that would be funny. -Said it was great that TNA got national coverage for the Titans/Jarrett situation. -Borash thinks something big is in the works because the creative meeting today was closed doors with only Jerry Jarrett and Vince Russo. Usually the meetings are open. -Put over the work of Hermie Sadler and K-Krush. -Put over Jeff Jarrett, The Dupps, and The Flying Elvises. -Says he expects great things in the Styles/Low Ki match and that the two are finally getting a national spotlight. -Russo is apparently very pleased with the TNA talent. -Sent his thoughts to Kevin Nash. I agree with Curt Hennig as he said recently that wrestlers can't have fun like they used to...too many rules of etiquette...they have to be respectful no more ribbing? Owen Hart and Davey Boy would not approve! Jannetty may have some crazy stories but a wrestler of this generation like an AJ Styles would reminice about the time he and Jerry Lynn drank orange juice together...good times!
