Tenzan is the only one who has any business winning it this year anyway.

 

I think it would give a nice rub to the guy and help set up a potential money IWGP title match for the 1/4/2003 Dome show with Tenzan vs Nagata. That would rock bells!

I don't know who's in what block, but if they're in seperate blocks then I think Tenzan vs Nakanishi is the final for this year. I can't pick a winner since Tenzan needs the push, but Nakanishi just got done training with Karl Gotch and is said to be much better.

I agree. Tenzan needs the big push...it seems logical. Him going over Nagata would be too soon. Remember last year when they had the money match between Akiyama/Misawa in the round-robin for the GHC Title? Well, Misawa went over some relatively good wrestler, gave him the rub, and won the title. They then went on to have a FUCKING KICK ASS MATCH down the line for the title. (****1/2, if you are counting at home.)Same scenario could apply here. Have Nagata/Tenzan in the round robin, but have one of the two fight somebody else in the final, and then save it for the big money match at the Dome. Then, you can have Tenzan go over with the slow build...and BOOOM! There ya go. Tenzan is over, and you have a relatively bomb feud on your hands, biznitch...
