If they want and underdog, man, turn spike into the next shawn, spike is the PERFECT underdog. Small, loveable, and knows how to talk. actually, i think spike is closer to the perfect punching bag than the perfect underdog. when he wrestles i don't really want to see him win, i just want to see him get manhandled. my friends & i were talking about this a few weeks ago, a 'rocky'-like scenario where they could give some mid-carder a title shot at a ppv, & who would be the best guy to do it. we decided that helms would be the best answer. he's small, he's got a good offense (unlike spike), he can sell, he knows how to work a match, and the fans LOVE him. the wwF chose to put jeff hardy in this role, in the ladder match with the undertaker. and jeff hardy definitely has the underdog look to him, but i think the push should've been given to someone more talented.
