Guest The Camel Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Have Hogan's last match at Wrestlmania XIX, set it up with a mystery oponent, and have Savage come out drop roided elbows all over Hogan, and end with 1-2-3, clean pin, victory for the Macho Man. Oh yeah, did anybody else notice Rocky saying "You're goin NOWHERE!" like Savage in Spiderman a few times on Smackdown last week?
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 The last thing WWE needs right now is Savage. Unless they want to have a 1 PPV, 1 time only feud with Hogan, where FINALLY, Hogan completes his jobbing tour with the man he should have jobbed to, like 12 years ago!! In other words, it just isn't worth it.
Guest M Nyland Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Savage has never...and the M means NEVER...pinned Hogan....ever... Ya gotta give him that ONE win!
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Savage has never...and the M means NEVER...pinned Hogan....ever... Ya gotta give him that ONE win! I almost agree...but I think it's too late to mean anything man.
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 Are you NUTS? Oh man could you imagine if Savage came back? He was one of my favorites... I could hardly wait for HHH v. Savage MADNESS vs. INTENSITY[/size=7] *grins* Madness v. Intensity = Ratings
Guest Just call me Dan Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 I would have been all for it, but I'm almost scared for Randy's health. With so many deaths going on related to steroid abuse and other drugs, he's not looking so good. The man is damn near fifty, but he keeps trying to make himslef look younger. I'll give it to him, the man is the best looking 48 year old I've ever seen. Once he made that comeback in '99, with his hair in a ponytail hiding the bald spot and an even more chiseled physique, he looked great. He couldn't work though. The man has since juiced even more and is probably working himself to death. You can't go that hard when you're 50. If he were to re-emerge in his final spotlight in the WWE, he'd definetly not want to put others over and would just want to kick ass one more time and leave. If there is any man who deserves that, it's him. He NEVER beat Hogan. He never got the respect and incredible following he deserved although being an even more charismatic and 10x better worker than Hogan ever was. The guy had 2 one day title reigns, and none of his really were memorable. He can never say he did all he wanted to do in wrestling. Him coming back would be hazardous to his own health, hazardous to the lockerroom, and hazardous to a crippled WWE. I love Savage and wish I could see him wrestle, but novelty act or not the man would have to be on TV week after week and would wear out his welcome. Randy really just doesn't have a place in the WWE in a wrestling capacity. He can grace the screens anytime he likes, and it would impress me, but he just CAN'T do it fulltime. I don't know if Vince is smart enough to realize Savage would be BAD for both parties, but I would sure hope Poffo himself could begin to realize that. We'll never see Savage/Rock, Savage/Austin, never saw the showdown between Savage and Goldberg during his run in WCW, never saw Savage be declared the champ without knowing it would be a short reign and never really saw the man getting the respect he deserved. Sucks, but shit happens. Randy in WWE, NO
