Puro DVDs

I just got a multi-region player and picked up the 1/4 Dome show and the 2002 Excite series. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other Puro out on DVD.

I enoye watching G1 Climax 2001 on DVD. Got it from www.cdjapan.co.jp/

I got all of my 3 DVD's from there. A little pricy though.

While we are on the subject of Puro DVDs I gotta ask a question. Why are DVD's cheaper than VHS?

VHS is the platform of the VAST majority of puro's greatness (a.k.a. The 90's).

I really have no idea, but I think the recent AJ and NJ stuff have the same price for both.

 

I would definitely agree with you wolverine. The best stuff is on VHS, but you can always hope AJ may some day release a box set with all the good stuff from '93, 6/3/94 and 6/9/95 on DVD. It may be a long while though.

Well, the 1993 TV isn't ever going to be on DVD because NTV owns that footage, not All Japan. As far as the comm tapes, who knows. Mine are perfect quality, so I don't care.

Are puro dvds dual layered? I ask, because if they are single layer, and if any of you have dvd burners and know how to dub a region 2 dvd into a region 0 dvd-r, I am sure many people would be interested in buying or trading for dubs off of you.
