What were the best raws&smackdowns

I can't believe Keith said that.  In '97 you have Hart/Austin and then the Hart Foundation.  Then later in the year it was DX.  Two of my favorite angles ever.

Between those, a great Michaels/Undertaker feud.

1997 was an awesome year for wrestling. Wasn't there talks that Vince was having money trouble and the WWF nearly went bankupt in '97?

Alright alright, it's my first post _EVER_.  But I figured I might interject myself into this debate.

As the biggest Bret Hart mark ever, I gotta say that I love almost every RAW from '97 with a Hart/Austin or Hart/Michaels segment.  I love the Hart Foundation (the true successors to the Four Horsemen, I might add) and everything about that period pretty much.  I can't remember everything about specific RAWs, but three moments do stand out:

1) Austin/Hart streetfight and ambulance brawl, which is universally loved.

2) Michaels/Hart interview where Michaels superkicks Hart from the wheelchair.  One of my biggest markout moments ever.  I hated Shawn Michaels, so I was real pissed.  But that's the mark of a great angle right?  It got me motivated.

3) Hart/Psycho Sid cage match for the WWF title the week before Wrestlemania XIII.  Incredible heat for the match.  The title was portrayed as the ultimate goal.  Austin helping Hart and UT helping Sid just so they could fight each other for the belt a week later.  Unbelieveable.  Plus the in-ring segment with Vince afterwards where Hart goes apeshit.  Just unreal, it's probably my favorite RAW moment _EVER_.

And I'm stunned that no one mentioned the RAW from way back when in the Manhattan Center.  I think it's billed as "The Night of Upsets" and I know I still have it on tape.  Jannetty comes back and challenges Michaels for the I-C title and beats him with help from Mr. Perfect.  Also featured: The Kid gets a fluke pin on Razor Ramon in what had to be a markout moment for everyone here.  It's the only RAW that I truly have a great memory of.  The feeling of that title change and the upset was electric.

But that's just me.  Just my $0.02.
