It'll be Raw's turn for the title anyways. Screw people who say 'don't give away Brock's title shot'... give it off the unover monster. And fast. Please WWE, I'm beggin' ya!

I apprieciate WWE's effort in pushing new guys, but getting them over before giving them the most important title in the federation is pretty important.....

Even though I think/hope Jericho will interfere in the tag match on behalf of Team Canada, I think if he joins Team Canada he'll overshadow the other members. This is the first (and probably only) time the marks give a damn about Storm, and Christian & Test are getting some much-needed reactions again as well. If Jericho joins the group and its feuds would quickly focus around him, that's right, Jericho would be "holding the other group members down". At least that's what I think would happen. It's also why, even though I'd love to see E&C back together, I really don't want to see an Edge heel turn, because as a soon to be high level singles star Edge would also overshadow the rest of the group. Also, as much as I like Team Canada, there's really nowhere for it to go past the tag division and possibly embarrassing Hulk Hogan and "the traitor" Edge (I still can't believe they haven't mentioned this yet) for the good of their countrymen. For that I almost hope they don't win the titles at Vengeance, and the feud of Team Canada vs. Hogan/Edge is prolonged so the group can gain some credibility. Back to Jericho, hopefully he makes an appearance on the PPV, even if it is curtain jerking. If not... if not maybe he didn't really renew his contract? I can't think of any other reason why they'd job him out to Cena again, not give him a PPV match, then move what would've been his PPV match (and possibly a pretty good feud with a future main eventer) to Smackdown! the next week.
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 20, 2002 Report Posted July 20, 2002 I don't see Jericho or Edge overshadowing the rest of the group a problem because Storm and Christian will be a tag team. They probably won't be able to look lower than Jericho or Edge if they are one of the top contenders for tag belts or the tag champions. Its not like they are goign to be Euro level while Edge or Jericho is Undisputed level...

When Edge & Christian split up, after a short feud between the two over the IC belt, Christian quickly fell to Champion of Europe, and then to Metal/Velocity. Storm's highest time was also with the IC belt, and then he fell after that. Team Canada is pretty much the only way these guys have been able to get any attention amongst the marks, and as of right now, even with the high profile feud, I don't think they're on the same "level" as Edge or Jericho.
