SWF Ground Zero Prognostications.

Been a while since I've started one of these threads... Of course, it's not like I'm going to PREDICT right off the bat or anything silly like that. I just want to needlessly up my post count before my newly screwed up sleep cycle takes effect. That's both a (Y) and (N), for those who care.

The "(Y) that Stryke doesn't have to spend copious amounts of time and lose sleep writing a huge match for the PPV" predictions of TOTAL DEVASTATION!!! Absolutely guarenteed to be 124% correct.

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

-> Tasty cakes right off the bat, one hell of a match here. Fallout is always great, and will certainly like to get into the hunt to become the first 3 time ICTV champ. Breggan came very close to winning the World Title, and any ring rist he may of had will most likely have worn off by now. Raynor is in hot form, winning the Tag belts recently as well as a number of good victories, and Nekura looks to be as great as ever. The overwhelming amount of talent in this one makes it a doozy to predict, but i think Mr. Nekura will come up with the goods on this occassion, though it'll be super close for sure.

Stryke sez: Spider Nekura

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

-> Oh boy, from one great match up to another. Flesher is as hot as lava right now, getting win after win, and one would think the stipulation could favour him here. But you can never discount the defedning LHW champ Magnifico currently in the longest of his 4 title reigns, and now having the longest amount of days with any individual title. Add in being a former world champ, this will be great. The Ultimate Submission stip should make for a great one, and both men are very good writers, but come PPV time ELM always brings the goods, so i'll have to go with the Carnie to retain the belt here.

Stryke sez: El Luchadore Magnifico

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

-> JD against a mystery individual, it's hard to predict without knowing what the very impressive Hardcore champ has to deal with. I reckon Mr. Question mark is someone good, but right now Jay Dawg is in tip-top form, and i'll go with the Creative Control member to continue his impressive reign, defeating whoever his opponent may be.

Stryke sez: Jay Dawg

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

-> Tagarific action here, two more teams line up to get a shot at the Carnie duo. TNT and Frost came oh so close to winning the belts last time they had a shot, and if they get another shot they may very well win the belts. Tod deKindes is the latst XF9 member, and teaming up with long time member LDP makes for a formidable team indeed. I'd normally go with my former M7 stablemates given their great form over recent times, but i think they may have thier minds more on Wargames here, and as team X Force 9 have no other matches to concern themselves with i think the added attention they'll be able to give this, combined with their undeniable talent and Tod's super form since being bumped, i'll give this to Pete and deKindes.

Stryke sez: Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

-> These two have been building up to this for the last month, and at last they get to go at it in a sure to be brutal Street Fight. Erek has been picking up win after win since being bumped to the SWF, and is going on strong as the ICTV champ. Strangler has just returned, and looks to be every bit as good as he was before, and the Magnificent Seven member will be looking to get his hands on te gold here. Both men are great, but here i think former Hardcore Champ the Boston Strangler will be able to bring the goods, just topping Erek under the street fight rules.

Stryke sez: The Boston Strangler

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

-> And here's the big one. 10 men, 2 rings, 1 huge cage, this will no doubt be up there with the best main events the IGNWF/SWF has seen. Two teams absolutely packed with talent, either team can win what will no doubt be a brutal contest. I expect plenty of pain, blood and people falling off/into/through the cage here. It's impossible to tell who will win by the men on each team, it'll probably come down to which team can co-ordinate their efforts the best to bring the match together. Whatever happens, i'll be eagerly awaiting this one. I'll talke a stab at predicting this behemoth of a match, and i'll go with...

Stryke sez: The Magnificent Seven

And that concludes our predictions for this evening.

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

... Eeep. I really want Lerrin to win, because lord knows he can, but god, it's going to be a close contest, I'd hate to be marking.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

Magnifico, double booked? Well, he doesn't have to write much of the main event, so he should have no problems, oh wait, yeah, he's facing the Superior One... Tom to win.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg = Underated, it's true you know. I think he shall win ze match.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

TNT and frost seem to have good chemistry, some good promos from them as well. I think they'll be pumped and raring to go in this one.

This is looking to possibly be one of the best pay-per-views ever. The card is completely stacked, with the only possible way it could better was if Lerrin would of won the title and we had an SWF title match. That's about it. Now onto the predictions:

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

See, any other show this would have the potential to be match of the night. This is the opener! Fallout needs to promo or something. With all the promoing and character development and out of ring fun, he's just kinda getting left behind. Lerrin was very close on Smarkdown, but I know the more people you get into the match, the more he gets confused. I know Raynor's going to write, because he's honorable and such, but I also konw he's very psyched for WarGames and may center his attention there.

Thus your winner? Spider Nekura sets up a big match with his former lackey...more on that later.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

ELM told me this stip on AIM and all I was thinking was "Lot of submissions for one night" for our LHW champion. And why isn't the US Title on the line!? Cheater! Flesher has been oh so hot, with only that one little loss to Raynor to blemish his record, but Flesher's never gone up against ELM. On a PPV. Hehehehe... good luck, bud, because you're going to need it.

Winner? ELM in OT.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

* An XF9 member? Ash is out, and LDP/Tod/Erek are all double booked...intrigue! Either way, I think JD retains unless ??? can really pull something out.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Poor LDP and Tod don't realize that Mag 7 nearly killed the Pokefreak. I'm sure that would motivate them a little bit more, not that it would matter against the monster team of Chilly Chilly Bang Bang, who were so close to winning those straps before. Only problem may be TNT is focusing on WarGames as well. Going to be a good match.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

Erek Taylor came in strong with the "upset" victory with that roll up at Snake Eyes, and he and Strangler have really been hyping this thing up. Strangler's made a strong, hanging with the likes of Edwin and beating a team of Thoth and Spider. I say my M7 boy takes it and sets up Strangler/Spider.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Glory be, the funk's on me. It really comes down to Edwin/Z/Thoth vs. Me/OC/Deathwish. Their team has the definite experience advantage, since OC hasn't written in forever, but I think thats not really going to matter. I'm happy Raynor's double-booked, because his usual multi-man awesomeness may be hindered.

Folks, this match is going to rule. This is another one of those things where I could care less if I lose, since the match that wins will be so good. THis is what this whole fed is about. People bitch and moan and complain, but I came back to work with some good people, have some fun, write some promos and write some kick-ass matches. Check, check, check AND check.

Best. PPV. EVAR. Or at least will make a run for it. Hopefully it can stand up to the hype.

Time once again kiddies for Annie E's PREDICTIONS OF DOOOOOOOOOM!!!

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

Odd, interesting, intriguing even. 2 tweeners, a face and a heel. Raynor's double booked, so I have a feeling he won't really be in this one. Leaving Breggan, Fallout, and Nekura. I'm going agains Nekura, but only because he brainwashed my sister. So that leaves Breggan and Fallout. CC v. Clan.....

Winner: Lerrin Breggan

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

Now don't get me wrong here, ELM is a tough bastard to beat. I faced him no less than three times and only won when he wrote it to be. ELM is crazy good. But this -is- a submissions match, ultimate to be precise, and it is Flesher he's facing who has been red hot since.... uh, well since he joined the JL. Hard call either way but I gotta go DuranFlesh here.

Winner: Tom Flesher

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

Being the paranoid freak that I am, I can't help feeling something's up here. With XF9 all being booked already, that means that there's a double booking taking place here. My theory? Tod deKindes steps up for this match, while LDP writes all of the tag. But with the way JD has been fighting lately, it may not matter. I think the only person that could beat JD soundly right now would be HVT, and that isn't happening. I have to draw this description out further, because it's just too horrifying to have to predict JD the out-and-out winner. So, for the rest of this spiel, I'll be doing alto strains off of 'Flight of the Valkryies'...

OOOOoooooooooAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhh OOOOOOooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuughh AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Winner: ugh... that guy.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. 'TNT' Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

The Weathered Vet and the Green Rookie v. Chilly Chilly Bang Bang. Well.... I -want- XF9 to take this but if my earlier theory is right, this will be 2 v. 1 and Chilly Chilly Bang Bang takes it. Guys, seriously.... shorten the tag name or die!

Winner: CCBB

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

This could seriously steal the show here, and is a great way to setup Wargames. This feud has been building for a while, beautifully I may add, and as much as I personally like both these guys, I'm going to root for Erek. My prediction however goes to Strangler, who is one of the most consistent writers in the fed. Too close to really call, but I'll pick someone for argument's sake.

Winner: Strangler

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, 'TNT' Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

How in the hell do you call this? I mean, damn! Bottom line: whoever wins this will be a hell of a match, it will be great. The winner here is quite obvious now that I think of it...

Winner: The Readers

Pretty simple when you break down the numbers.

I'll stop ripping off Nick Bakay now...

FOUR-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

-Two Clannites. One Carnie. One member of Creative Control. Stables-a-go-go ((Y) @ Edwin) in this opening match. Let's see. Breggan had one hell of a close match with MacPhisto on Smarkdown. I really see him as being upper-midcard, hovering around the main event after that match. He doesn't really need the ICTV belt here. Same with Raynor-he's consistent enough without the belt, and I think his multi-man-highspot-filled mind is focused on WarGames.

That leaves Fallout and Spider. Two fellow Clan members. Hmmm. While Fallout reeks of technical awesomeness, I remember Spider's last four-way title match in the ML. Nobody rocks the highspot party quite like Nekura; plus, the booker in me wants to see Strangler/Spider after the PPV. So, Nekura wins with a little help from Fallout, keeping everything all nice-nice in Clanville.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

Again, my heart says that Flesher's got this one under control, being a Clan member and all. Plus, ELM is ::going:: to contribute a lot to the WarGames match, I think, leaving him a little bit drained for his singles submission match against the Superior One.

On the other hand, it's ELM. And a PPV match. Thirty minutes of submissions? Everybody's favorite immigrant is going to write a novel, folks. And not one of those short little R.L. Stine ones, either.

No prediction.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

I think Tod deKindes is our mystery opponent, simply because he made such a point about "winning at all costs" in his Smarkdown promo. While CC may not have been responsible for the Fall of Ash Ketchum, whichever XF9er gets fed to the Dawg is going to be angry as hell and looking for revenge.

Without taking anything away from JD's considerable hardcore prowess, I think he drops the belt here to either a red-hot deKindes or possibly LDP.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Chilly Chilly Bang Bang has been on a roll since their formation, defeating the VERY formidable team of Thoth and Spider Nekura, and damn near taking the tag straps away from the Carnival; X-Force Nine has been occupied with the induction of their newest member, Tod deKindes, and the Fall of Ash Ketchum. This said, I think that CCBB's chemistry gives them an overwhelming edge in this match, especially if you consider that one of the two XF9ers will likely face Jay Dawg in a singles match beforehand.

Magnificent Seven's Tag Team Deluxe to earn another shot at the belts.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

Man, does anybody else remember when Taylor was feuding with Matt Myers? The high-flying prince has had one hell of a run, but I think that The Boston Strangler is the man to end it. The Superstation is one of the most consistent, and most underrated, men in the fed. It's been awhile since I've since Taylor in action-maybe I haven't been paying attention, but then again, maybe he'll be the slightest bit rusty against the big Bostonian.

Strangler wins a close, close match to set up the ICTV title match between him and the Leper Messiah after Ground Zero.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Two words.

Holy shit.

Edwin Mac and ELM are always amazing on pay-per-view, and Chris Raynor has a mind like no one else for crazy large matches. Z is coming along quite nicely with his character and his promos, and his slightly comedic take on his matches reminds me more than a little of the above-mentioned MacPhisto. All these styles blend together well, and Thoth is the glue to hold everything together with some rock-solid wrestling and some old-fashioned quality Clan tactics.

The Magnificent Seven aren't quite as naturally suited to a gimmick match this all-encompassing, but they might actually outweigh Edwin, Thoth, and the rest of the Carnies in the raw wrestling talent department. Deathwish and Outcast are two of the four absolute best technical wrestlers in the league, and Chilly Chilly Bang Bang is scary good for having been together for such a short time. Chris Wilson is the man behind the monster that is M7, and with him present and accounted for to direct the raw talent of the other four men on his team, the Magnificent Seven are poised to give the Carnies a very, very close run for their money.

Prediction, you ask?

...

There's a difference between winning the match, and winning, you know.

Just read and enjoy this one.

FOUR-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

- Whoever said that this could have been at the top of the card a few months ago is right. Fallout has owned the ICTV division before, Lerrin almost beat Edwin, Spider is absolutely incredible when he's on, and Chris Raynor is one of the best all-around writers in this fed. This match is incredibly difficult to call. However, I'm gonna write Raynor off due to the ME, leaving Fallout, Spider, and Lerrin. For some reason, I'm feeling Lerrin...his match had to be heavily edited when he almost beat Edwin, and I get the feeling that he'll do even better if he doesn't have to worry about word limits. Fallout and Spider are also distinct possibilities, but I think I'm gonna take Lerrin here.

Superstation says: Lerrin Breggan

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

Now, if this was a ladder match, it'd be all over. But this isn't ELM's pet stip, it's Flesher's. ELM was always better at writing a cruiser style, while Flesher writes a better technical, ground-based style. But ELM is the king of the PPV matches. He's always impressed me with his work here, and this one is a true test for him. I'm leaning toward Flesher, due solely to the stip, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if ELM wrote another monster of a match to win this one.

Superstation says: Tom Flesher

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

JD isn't getting nearly enough credit. He's done a sensational job over the last few months, and I hope the rumors about him quitting in the relatively near future aren't true, as he's really risen to the top of the heap here. I personally think that JD is above the Hardcore title right now, and should let it go. However, JD is an incredible hardcore writer, so for all I know, he has no intentions of leaving the division anytime soon. As for the XF9 participant, it's not Erek. I'm leaning toward Tod, with LDP as a possibility, but it could be someone completely new. Ced Ordonez has been bouncing around the SWF...he was in XF9 back in the JL, if I remember correctly. Could a reunion be in store? He's not on the card yet...and this would give him some direction if it was him. But no matter who writes against JD, they'll lose unless JD wants them to win.

Superstation says: JD

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Before I begin, I'd like to say how much the name "Chilly Chilly Bang Bang" rules. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, this is another tight match. Frost and TNT are great together as a tag team. They're a great mesh of styles, in-ring and writing, and have really impressed since they started. Almost beating the Carnies is quite a feat. As for XF9, LDP hasn't seemed to be doing all that much as of late. But they have the angle all set up now, Tod is on board, and they have a legit beef with M7. The match should be better than people would expect, and it's gonna come down to how well the two men work together. Tod and LDP have worked on angles in the past, but they've never written a tag match together to the best of my knowledge, and CCBB have. Therefore, they get the win.

Superstation says: Chilly Chilly Bang Bang

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

I'm definitely going all out for this one. Taylor beat me on Smarkdown, and he made me tap. I don't remember if I've ever tapped before since I entered the league, but Taylor made me, so I gotta get him back for that one. And trust me, I do NOT want to lose this match. I've got all the time in the world, so expect a book from me. Taylor, you are SO going down.

Superstation says: Taylor, look over there! A bear! Run away!

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Well, this might be the most memorable main event ever attempted on a PPV. I've never seen a Wargames match myself, but I've heard nothing but good things about them, so I might try and track one down. As for the participants, I figure Edwin and Wilson will essentially cancel each other out with about 10000 words each. After that, it comes down to the supporting cast, and how much they can contribute. Z and Thoth aren't booked, although I'm not sure if Thoth is around right now, which would be a big blow to the Carnies. Raynor will put a lot of effort into this one, and ELM will as well, since he does nothing but write during PPV weeks anyway. As for the EEEEEEEVIL team, TNT and Frost will be writing their match, but they'll have time, since they're only doing half a match each. Outcast will be interesting, as he's been in top promo form, but he's incredibly rusty in the ring, and a 10 man clusterfuck isn't the easiest match to re-debut in. And Danny should do quite well in a match like this, with his vast technical wrestling knowledge. I get the feeling Mr. Wilson might be chatting up Danny for some good ideas to toss into the match. And a winner? Well, most people have chickened out so far, but I'm actually gonna pick a winner.

Superstation says: In a match that would suck to have to mark, I'm taking the Magnificent Seven. I don't think Wilson is going to allow himself to lose this match. But it could go to the Carnies, since Edwin is on that side. Whoever does win will earn it, and whoever loses is gonna feel really pissed that they wrote tens of thousands of words (predicted WC for the winning match: 28,382.)

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout is just damn near impressive, and yet he is probably one of the best writers that is not in the main event. Raynor and Nekura are also tremendous writers, but Breggan falls short of those three.....but then I'm picking Breggan in this one.

Jay Dawg vs. ???

JD fears the wrath of Question Mark Man. ^_^;

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

TNT and Frost were apparently fairly close to beating Edwin and Raynor, so I'll give them the nod.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

Taylor, even though the Streetfight stip concerns me a bit.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Double no-show.

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

-Yikes. Why these four are OPENING a show at all is beyong me, but oh well. I personally am a huge Raynor fan, but Lerrin almost beat EDWIN...so I guess I'll go with him.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

-I'm really not sure about this one...ELM might be a bit distracted by War Games...but he's consistently awesome, so I'll play it safe and say he retains [AGAIN.]

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

-Anyone BUT Jay Dawg. Somebody beat him! I really believe this is Tod, but if it's not, then I'd say that Renegade or Silent are the two possible bumpees to go head to head with the cock gobbler...erm...Jay Dawg.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

-Meh. I plan on being completely involved in the War Games match, so this will mostly be Frost [is he's willing] but I think if we have enough time, we can pull the win off against them, simply because they haven't teamed up before, and Tod is a singles guy.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

-Eek! ~INTENSE!~ I'll go with Strangler simply because I'm his lackey. But, Erek could win this also. And with that, God the Red Sox suck fucking balls.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

-Insert several larges "AHHHHHHS" wherein TNT stretched the page like the tool he is. Tooler Nicholas Toolson, boyo! Mod powers RULE!

Well...um...go readers?

Gee, TNT, thanks for stretching the page.

Strangler, trust me, I can allow myself to lose this match. It's called having inferior skillz. It happens a lot. Granted, not usually to me (EGO ALERT! :P ) but it does happen.

This PPV is gonna be bitchin. I'd just like to repeat that.

Because my fingers have fallen off from early day Wargames action, and I need to slowly work them back to survival levels...

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

-Fo sheezy. Talk about hot openers! I think the elimination stipulation might have might this match more interesting, buuuuut it's still going to rock the party. Raynor's focus is currently on Wargames...Fallout is always reliable...but the two guys with momentum have gotta be Spider and Lerrin. Both coming off big Smarkdown matches, some exciting character work...I could toss a coin between these two, but after Lerrin's oh-so impressive showing on Smarkdown and because he won't have to edit his work here, I say that he wins the shot.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

-The first time we've ever had this stipulation, and a unique match for the Light Heavyweight division, which usually leans on ladder and pole matches. If anyone's discounting Mag, don't, because he's putting a lot of work into both this and Wargames. It's going to be infinitely close, but checking out recent results, I'm noting that Flesher is pretty much unbeatable lately. It IS PPV, but I'm picking Flesher to pull the minor upset here.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

-I'm breaking my policy of always predicting Question Mark Man, because no matter who he is, JD's last two hardcore matches (cage against Frosty and Hide-and-Seek against Ash) are two of the best matches he's written. No one's stopping him unless he wants them to.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

-I'd like to see an XF9 team of Tod and Anyone Else In The Stable have a good run, because that'd work really well in the 'Tod shapes them up' storyline, but I think TNT and Frost are too good and too much so firing on all cylinders here. That said, I know both are a BIG part of Wargames. Gawd, this is tuffity...you know what? I'm pulling for another 'upset,' because of all I've mentioned above, and gonna say this first pairing of XF9 guys pulls it out.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

-Our first streetfight in a long time! What it's going to come down to is this: how many big tall things Erek can find to jump off of versus how many big large things Strangler can find to slam Erek through. To me, Slam vs. Jump is a lot like Rock-Paper-Scissors. Jump Beats Slam, and Slam beats...uh...okay, not so much. Since Slam is the mystery destroyer, I will vote Slam and say that Stranglepants gets the duke.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

-WHOO! Let me tell you guys, this much is so much fun. I'll be hating it on Saturday night and Sunday morning when Z and I are panic-rushing to finish it, but I'm loving it now. I wrote a few thousand words today and it flew by. It's way too tricky to figure it out by the writers, because all of these people are damn good, particularly in a team environment. It really is a stable war. Even if I wasn't in it, I couldn't call it. I choose the CIA pick.

Final Prediction: Seriously and totally, the best PPV we've ever had.

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

~Wow, everyone here has mad skillz so to speak, but I have to give Nekura the nod. This should be one hell of a match.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

~This is one hell of a stip with two damn good writers. Granted Flesher's cover blown I still have to give him the nod by a hair.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

~Right... well last time I saw a ??? match besides the one in the JL it was with me versues Grimedogg. How convient it's in a hardcore match too. I don't know who the ??? is, but he gets the nod (hoping it's a great surprise).

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

~Well... XF9 and M7... flip a coin because this is very even.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

~Okay, I'm gonna give the nod to Strangler who goes all out and Taylor barely gets beaten.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

~Team Face. This has to be one of the best main events if done right.

Good luck to all and this can be our best ever.

I don't predict very often but I'm taking a break from writing, so here we go with Pete's Picks...

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

Fallout kicks ass, and won't be busy with Wargames either. Raynor will probably be busy with Wargames. Spider's good, but I don't think he's going to get the win here. If Lerrin Breggan came close to beating Edwin on Smarkdown, then that's saying a lot...

PICK: Lerrin Breggan.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

ELM is pretty damn near unbeatable, but maybe Flesher will be the one to do it (and acquire double gold!). Or maybe ELM will job the match, just so he can become the first 5-time champion next month.

PICK: Tom Flesher.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

Well, seeing as I set up this match, I know who the ??? is, and I won't spoil it for you here. I'll probably make an appearance in the beginning to announce the identity of the mystery opponent (I know ??? is writing it that way, I don't know about JD though)... in any event I'm expecting a great match. Oh, and you know I've got to side with XF9.

PICK: ???

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Hey, my match. For a while I wasn't sure I'd be booked at all...I've spent most of the month bringing in XF9 members and helping to advance the stable as a whole and the other stablemates, and haven't really focused on my own matches. But on reflection this couldn't have been booked better. Pete and Tod, who fought each other throughout the month, now trying to coexist on the same side. This is my second bid for a tag title run, so maybe we'll be successful here. No prediction though.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

You know I've got to go with XF9 on this one...

PICK: Erek Taylor.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Dayum... this is going to be one of the hardest matches in history to mark. That's all I've got to say about that.

PICK: Midnight Carnival & Thoth.

All right, all right, back to my match.

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

I'm going with the man whom everyone said he'd eat me alive but I proved them wrong :P Jiminy Jillickers, Radioactive Man, I say Fallout wins it!

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

Flesher's a lightweight?? I never paid attention to that. Close call, ELM by a hair.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

Who could this be? Hmmm.....No prediction.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Sweet Pete and Tod the Bod, goin' for the gold. No prediction.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

Gotta go with Taylor.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

If the heels don't win the (rigged) coin toss, I will be sorely disappointed. Heels win it, cuz hell, the heels ALWAYS win Wargames.

I can do these I suppose.

4-WAY ICTV TITLE #1 CONTERSHIP MATCH

Fallout vs. Lerrin Breggan vs. Chris Raynor vs. Spider Nekura

Dammit... Lerrin or Spider... Lerrin or Spider... Fuck... Fallout is here to? If there is a judge, I pity them. I will go with my boy Lerrin though, for stable loyalty.

ULTIMATE SUBMISSIONS MATCH FOR THE SWF LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. Tom Flesher

Mexican slut vs. That slut who thinks he can beat me... ELM never disappoints on PPV.

SWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH

Jay Dawg vs. ???

Well... with a hangover, I completed my match... reading it over... I think that alcohol is still in me... all I have to say.

SWF TAG TEAM #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH

Longdogger Pete & Tod deKindes vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

Chilly Chilly Bang Bang to die. They have Wargames... so XF9 will get the W.

STREETFIGHT FOR THE SWF ICTV TITLE

Erek Taylor © vs. The Boston Strangler

Tough really... as much as I think he's a bitch... I have to say Strangler gets the duke.

WARGAMES

Edwin MacPhisto, El Luchadore Magnifico, Chris Raynor, Z & Thoth vs. Chris Wilson, Danny Williams, Outcast, “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson & Frost

21k vs. 36k... size matters not when it's this big... I think Wargames will be interesting... but damn... I think I will pick the Carnies... just cause.
