He was at the time, and he isn't much higher now. Remember, they were in the middle of that red hot "Holly can't beat Orton" angle.

Yeah

it was almost as hot as "20 bucks on Mizark Henry"

Michael Cole:"I think Holly knows he can't beat Orton. Orton might have Holly's number!"

next month

MC:"Hardcore Holly-probably the toughest man in WWE!"

Actually, Holly throwing out Angle of the battle royal ended that "feud". Anyways, the Holly thing didn't matter. Two weeks later, he made Hogan tap. How can you complain when Angle was the first man to make Hogan tap cleanly? Face it, there was no repercussions from the Edge feud.

A good way to do it would have been Angle cheating just for the hell of it, like beating Holly's ass all match, than using the ropes just because he wants to. Have Cole scream about how it isn't necessary. Then after the match do something to show Holly's heart or that someone respects him.

Again, how would anyone benefit from a squash? I know that you think that maineventers can squash jobbers, but remember when everyone didn't like HHH squash towards Lance Storm a couple of monthes back? It would have been the same thing. I don't want Angle doing stuff that HHH does to hold down others.

Angle wasn't the first. Hogan tapped to Lex Luger before that.

Sorry about that...my mistake.

Yea, but nobody likes Lex Luger, and Hogan probably got his submission back many times over through various CHOKE-holds ;)

Oh yea, back on topic, I wouldn't mind an Eddy/Booker feud either, although I'm not sure how it'd be set up. I wish it had been an Eddy/Rock mini-feud, but alas, no such luck.

As for Angle, I'm not sure. Maybe Angle goes all-out, renounces his American citizenship and joins Team Canada? ;)

Also, for Undertaker, I'm not sure if his thing with Nowinski on Monday was a one time deal, or if that's going to be his new program. If so, and that's it, that's a HELL of a depush for the best champion in months.
