Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted July 23, 2002 Edge isn't evily plotting people's demise. the way you talk about Edge, it seems that you feel that way , but Edge's lousy promos and predicatable, borring spear oriented offensive run ins/matches really didn't help anyone The reason why Edge uses the spear is becasue people like it...it gets lots of pops. And the time between Edge and Hogan was hell. What, a whole two weeks? Actually, it wasn't EVEN two weeks. The same day that Angle stopped feuding with Edge, he started feuding with HOgan (at the cage match where Edge got injured). With Regal, I feel if Regal got demoted because of that feud, so should Edge. They should except equal blame for THAT monstocity. I think the point of the feud was to elevate Edge. (The wig, Maven, the thong, Bob Holly) But in between those two PPV, Angle was in a high profile feud. SO he was made to look like a dork, so what else is new? Just because he didn't squash Holly, doesn't mean that it was portrayed that Angle wasn't able to beat Holly. The Val Venis thing lasted for a week...its not like Venis was pushed at Angle's expence. Then, the next week on Velocity, Angle needed the ropes again. As for Val Venis, it STILL happned.
