Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 Ok, I'm not noshowing. HOWEVER. It has come to my attention that only the Main Event features two rings. I think the whole show should have it, and probably does... but descriptions and shit can confuse people. Personally, it can make for interesting spots and a change from the normal. What is the verdict here?
Guest ErekT2k Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 Yeah, I was also wondering about that too. Luckily, I'm not concentrating my match in the ring so I don't have to worry that much. But what is the verdict?
Guest HVilleThugg Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 The double ring is only available for the main event. It'll be built during the break between matches, and dutring the montage showing the history of M7/Carnival work. The wargames is special and we don't want to ruin the double ring spots and coolness before the main event with every other match on the card using both rings. So, for all matches other than the main event, there is only one ring! Da "has spoken for the first time in several days" H
Guest Longdogger_Pete Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 Da "has spoken for the first time in several days" H I wondered where you'd been... Oh, wait, was that...? +1
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 There goes my belly to belly suplex to question mark man from one ring to another... I guess I have to do it through a flaming tack filled table instead. What a world.
Guest BA_Baracus Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Nope...only 1 ring for the other matches. So uh...there. Mothernature says..."
Guest HVilleThugg Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Hey...I already said that man!! Oh, and yeah LDP, I've been MIA for the last few days because I've had a ton of homework, a final exam, a website to build, and work this week, so I just haven't had time to really read what's been going on around here. I'll probably be missing until Sunday... Da "gotta keep my mouth shut and don't say what what" H
Guest HVilleThugg Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Pete... Who in the hell is that in your sig??? That dude looks like a freak! Da "insulting daily" H
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Thugg: WHAT WAS THE ANSWER!!1!1!!!! argh. at the very least read my sig -Annie
Guest Longdogger_Pete Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Cool, Thugg says I'm a freak, so it's official now. w00t!
Guest Tod deKindes Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Annie, no offense, but get a hobby, stat.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Just to be picky: previous times Wargames has been used the double ring was for the whole show. Also Wargames takes place in a cage with a low roof and no walk way, the cage is flushed against the ring. This is more like a hell in a cell with two rings. But eh, maybe Dusty Rhodes won't sue us now.
Guest HVilleThugg Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Well...can't we be just a little different?!? Da "trying desperately not to rip off WCW or WWE as much as possible" H
Guest BA_Baracus Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "I quite honestly don't care if our Wargames match is a carbon copy of the ones they had 10 years ago. The basic spirit of the match is the same...cell, 2-rings, 10 guys, first one to get a submission wins. The rest of the stuff really makes no difference. Mothernature says, darn tootin'..."
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 I think I said it on the card thread, but I'll say it again here: I like the space around the ring, mostly because it lets us do mean things on the outside, most importantly to TNT. ::writes a 'TNT gets thrown to the outside and everyone jumps on him a lot' spot:: Uahahaa....
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Pain to TNT = Ratings! *rehashes where LErrin jumping vertebroke TNT... BONG*
Guest Muzz Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 ''TNT gets thrown to the outside and everyone jumps on him a lot' Dwon here, that game is called "Stacks On." Just an FYI... I still don't know how to quote people properly.
