Area 51 - real.

UFOs - real. Well they ARE unidentified flying objects. Okay, I guess I think extra-terrestrials are real.

spirts - no.

big foot - don't know. There's that eerie footage of him (in the 60s I think) that looks too good to be fake. Plus the myth itself intrigues me.

The rest I don't know of.

I don't know why exactly, but I have trouble believing in aliens, but I do believe that ghosts and spirits are real.

UFOs: I believe in UFOs in the literal sense: that there are objects, apparently flying, that are unknown to their observers at the time they are observed. UFOs don't imply aliens, though it's silly and arrogant to presume we're the only intelligent life in the universe. I doubt alien civilizations make a habit of visiting earth, and I'm positive they've never sketched mandlebrot figures in crops.

Area 51: Real to a point, but completely overblown for whatever importance it may have.

Spirits: Fake.

Bigfoot: Hoax.

Hobos: I've seen them in every large city in America, so I'm pretty sure destitute drifters exist.

Sea Monsters: Hoaxes.

La Chupacabra: What is it supposed to be?

The New Jersy Devil: As "real" as Nessie.

UFOs: possible, even probable given enough time, there's a whole lot of universe out there.

Area 51: haven't studied it enough to decide.

Spirits: undecided. I've seen a couple of odd things, and heard about a great number of even odder thing, but haven't personally experienced anything which just had to be paranormal activity.

Bigfoot: probably not true.

Hobos: what, homeless people?

Sea Monsters: theoretically possible, we haven't explored something like 90% of the underwater areas on earth.

La Chupacabra: huh?

New Jersy Devil: doubt it.

I will comment on Spirits since I have personal experience with this.

I use to sleep over at my grandmothers when I was a kid. My grandfather died of a massive heart attack in the house when I was three. Whenever I would sleep over I would she his figure in the house. At first I was scared but then I realized he was just checking to see if I was ok. This isn't BS. It really bothers me that she is trying to sell her house.

Oh wait..you mean outer space aliens, not illegal aliens..

I'm a mark for the X-Files, so I'm into all this stuff.

Dr. Tom, I used to know the La Chupacabra story. Damned if I remember it. Here is a site I just found that quickly goes over the story: http://www.mcseinfo.com/sean/chupacabra.html

I believe in UFO's, aliens, Area 51 and hobos.

I'm still questioning the exsistence of ghosts/spirits and the Jersey Devil.

Sea Creatures and Big Foot are just made up stories.

UFOS/Aliens: Space is endless, anything can be out there....

Area-51: A ballon, BULL FUCKING SHIT!! They didn't go thru all that over a ballon. It's a UFO.

Everything else a think I could say yes to like I did these...

La Chupacabra means "Goat-sucker" en espanol. In Mexico, many farmers' goats were killed, the blood sucked from them. So natually they made a story. They later found a goat getting sucked dry by a swarm of bats and think that's what happened to the others.

I saw this show about these strange things that are being spotted in locations all around the world that are UFO sighting hotbeds.

They are shaped like long thin rods, between 6 and 20 inches long. They fly about but they don't have wings, they have these freaky glider things. Some have been seen to move at speeds of upto 200mph!

A speimen hasn't been caught, and they can only be seen on camera footage when it's slowed down.

They've started springing up in the last few years.

What about the moon landing? Did it really happen or was it all a fraud? I personally think that we never made it to the moon. We created the moon landing, so the Russians would give up in the space race.

UFO's- Real

Bigfoot-Not Sure, I'm sure there's lots of species we don't know about though

Spirits- Yes. I was over at my cousin's wife's house, and that convinced me. :)

They just found a new type of squid, so there could be lot of other things we don't know about in the sea alone...

There's a lot of evidence against it. ER is on now and even though it's a rerun I must watch, so I'll leave it to Cutthroat to explain it to you.

Oh for heaven's sake... I was wondering when the farcical conspiracy theories would make their way into this discussion. I'm disappointed you're the one bringing them into it, Rob; I thought you had more sense than that.

"We never landed on the moon. I have evedence..."

And what does this "evedence" say? I'd simply love to see how many gross misrepresentations of fact, quotes out of context, and plain wild speculations can be fit into one post.

I used to be BIG into this stuff, but it took over my life, and because of that child obsession, every bump in the night still keeps me from getting to sleep because I'm afraid it's "them" come to get me. As such, I guess I still believe, but I don't look too deeply into that stuff anymore because I don't want to cause myself any more mental anguish.
