Sure, she may not be a slut in real life, but just the appearance of impropriety is enough to entice. Notice how the Molly-has-a-fat-ass angle is generally reviled, while the Nidia-is-a-huge-slut storyline is fairly well received.

Notice how the Molly-has-a-fat-ass angle is generally reviled, while the Nidia-is-a-huge-slut storyline is fairly well received. Well, you have to consider one (Molly's) encourages calling a woman many (including myself) consider beautiful and the "most realistic" of all the WWE Divas ugly (not literally, but it's insinuating that she's "fat" and not attractive), when not only is she certainly not, but it's also basically calling all "realistic/normal" girls ugly, which creates a bad example for them as well. Imagine if someone looked up to Molly, and figured if she didn't look as good as Molly, and Molly was really ugly, that she then must be really ugly. Nidia, on the other hand, is over-the-top sexually aggressive, which is a trait many men would want in a woman. It's also over-the-top enough that it doesn't provide a bad example for women, and in fact would actually be something some women would likely tout themselves as being better than, especially since it reinforces that acting like that will get you with a "dumb, bad guy" (her boyfriend Jamie Knoble). Both sides get what they want - guys can watch and not feel bad about saying she's hot or degrading her, because "she's just a slut", and women can feel OK about not being as good looking, because "she's just a slut".

I think that's actually part of the appeal for me. I'd much rather have a nice, homely, but kinda freaky girl than an unattainable, super-hot primadonna that the majority of other WWE Divas are portrayed as. This may sound funny, but I'm sick of seeing super-hot girls. There are so many, and they're rarely given characters, so they're actually fairly plain.
