It did both good. It showcased Island Boyz as Sick Fuckers who attack anyone when Bischoff says so. It promoted Moolah's book (It won't do Foley or Rock or even Chyna numbers but it helped a little).

 

It established a Segment to look forward next week with "Three Minutes".

Actually, the "You Have 3 Minutes" segments will help get the Island Boyz over somewhat. I can't wait to see a tag team actually fight back, and kick the Island Boyz' asses. This would lead into a match between the two teams at SummerSlam. Hmmmmm....Maybe if the Hardy Boyz reformed. That would be good to see.

Sorry, I can't see Jeff Hardy kicking their asses and IB remaining credible. I feel that getting beat up by Jeff is part of what killed Brock

It gets across the total ruthlessness of Bischoff and the Island Boys. It doesn't matter who you are, when your three minutes are up, they are UP.

 

I think Mae (or was it Moolah? can't tell) has an ass imprint on her face from that smash. That frog splash on the other old bag looked vicious too, but mostly cause an octogenarian had the guts to take one from a dude that's gotta be in the neighborhood of 300 pounds.

When Buh Buh Ray put a pregnant mae young through a table, it drew face pops. The beatdown on Raw did nothing but kill the crowd. To me it didn't look like that bad of a beating.

All the Island Boyz need now is a decent push in the tag team division, and eventually be granted a shot at the Tag Team Titles. I see the Island Boyz getting a shot at the Tag Team Titles at Unforgiven, possibly No Mercy at the latest. Seeing as how they are Bischoff's bitches, I can't see them not getting a shot at the Tag Team Titles any later.

True, unless Bischoff interferes and helps the Island Boyz win the Tag Team Titles. For some reason, I see the Island Boyz winning the Tag Team Titles at Unforgiven or No Mercy at the latest. Then again, I could be wrong, but that would be a fresh change for the tag team division.

I enjoyed the segment. I knew from the minute Eric went from having them booted to changing his mind that they were gonna get killed by somebody, and when Bisch said "You have oh, 3 minutes" I was waiting for the Island Boyz make them this weeks Victim of Bischoff.

I don't think there will be an Island Boyz/Hardy Boyz match anytime soon, because in case you haven't noticed, there haven't been any Hardy Boyz matches since Brock. Both have finally gotten singles pushes (well, in Matt's case a one-way ticket to HeAT).

 

As for the segment, I think it did a lot, it got the Island Boyz and Bischoff over as EEEEEVIL (indeed!) for the crowd, and it gave smarks the satisfaction of seeing Mae Young get the hell beaten out of her isolated from another sickening storyline. I like the "three minutes" idea, and if Team Canada pisses off Bischoff anytime in the future, or possibly if Bischoff reveals he didn't want them, but the titles (notice he was just kinda silent for the Team Canada segment, I'd say a little uneasy, but I'm probably remembering it wrong), then they could get "three minutes" and the Island Boyz could get a tag titles shot. Sure, it'd just be Christian and Storm getting squashed again, but they could come back with even more anti-America stuff because of it, and maybe my idea of Team Samoa vs. Team Canada will actually be realized...

I thought the segment was pretty funny. I'd like to see the Island Boys in an actual match though as opposed to just pounding on random people. I also hope they don't get stuck with a "boyz" moniker, like the Hardys and the Dudleys.

It's a good spinoff of the smarks like us being upset with the 3 minute matches...

 

So Bischoff writes in the so-called 3 minute segment...we all know what's coming, and eventually someone wont get their ass kicked...

 

and believe me, it makes the Island Boyz look mean and damn good, Im impressed with their ability, I just hope they can work a match along with these spots.
