Rock-Brock is only set up because it was pre-determined that the KOTR would get the title shot at SS. Other than that, the only feud going is Bischoff vs. Steph. Once they've got the roster situation sorted out, they can set up some actual feuds.

NO ONE. Can feud with or will feud with? Because RVD could be feuding with Jericho, he won't be though since it looks like Jericho is going at it with a member of the senior tour. Angle is totally fudged though, he's stuck slow burning with Brock of all the sucky choices with probable in ring matches with Cena and Edge coming up again. Bleh.

Brock is feuding with Rock, and "Fodder for the Heatless Wonder" won't look good on Kurt's resumee. We already had the nausiatingly bad Angle/Edge feud. No thank you. From World title contender to JOHN CENA? No.

Then, we could see an RVD vs. Angle fued, leading into a match at SummerSlam where the winner gets a shot at the WWE Undisputed Title at Unforgiven. There, now would that please all you Angle fans? B)

SD has to grab at least 2 more guys in this whole thing, so we shouldn't worry yet. However, the fact that right now we have a shit set-up in the ME shows how stupid Vince's lack of elevation worked out. The only ones on Raw with "real" credibility is Trips and Taker, whereas the only guy with "real" ME credbility on SD is Brock, with Rocky jumping sides as champ. Guys like Angle have been lowered to an upper-midcard feel because guys that were "elevated" (such as Edge) weren't given a real storyline push to make it. They just kinda picked a fight with whoever they were to get the rub off of. I mean, look at Benoit/Jericho's push last year. It was built well, and they got some credibility from it. Had Triple H not get hurt and screwed it up (and I don't care what anyone says; that injury was Trips' fault, because anyone who bulks up that fucking much is bound to suffer a horrible injury sooner or later), Benoit and Jericho wouldn't look like midcarders. Hogan has only given the rub (which I believe leaves an orange smudge on one's skin) to Trips, Rocky, Taker, and Brock; 4 guys who either don't need it or don't deserve it. Oh well, maybe now Chris will get built up, even though everyone is second to the Great White Gorilla. Please don't let this get screwed up... right now there's so much promise.

I'm saying that you're right that there is no where good to go with Angle right now, but if I had to take a guess as to what WWE is actually going to happen? I would guess that WWE will go with Edge and/or Cena again. I do not agree with those choices, but I don't see where else they would go.

I've been happy watching just Raw lately because I've been able to do without Angle and Jericho because I've had Eddie and Benoit. Now they've gone and made me kinda want to watch both shows...oof. If they have a long term plan setup, even if it isn't the best one, sticking with it will give enough down time to allow someone somewhere to be that next breakthrough, the next Hogan, the next Austin... who will it be? He busts his ass; if he was just pushed as an underdog who somehow beats the favorite, he could get over. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 The Show goes as follows: -Watch the opening match (Rey vs Tajiri - awesome for the time it got), -Watch the middle match (Hogan vs Angle, not that terrible...) -Watch the segment with Nidia and Micheal Cole (Proving the Micheal Cole is either gay or gets paid a WHOLE LOT OF CASH to act like he is) -Watch the Main Event (Rocky taps, but him STARING right at Brock gave me nightmares) All the other stuff is utter crap. A couple of notes: 1) Hogan and Angle looks to be go for Summerslam. I'm betting its turned into a #1 Contender match for the Sept PPV as well.. 2) Edge and Benoit for Summerslam looks like a lock, and quite a good match too. 3) They hinted at a Billy and Chuck breakup, but they came to their better senses and apparently aren't gonna bother right now.
