Guest Nevermortal Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 I gotta go with Mikey Whipwreck & Tajiri. They didn't win the most belts or the most matches... But they were the goddamned coolest tag team ever. Ever! Ever I say! Honorable mention go to the Dudleys. Best ECW Heels since Raven's first run.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 I'm an Eliminators mark... And the Impact Players were cool too.
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Benoit/Malenko cause...it's Benoit/Malenko.
Guest HBK16 Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 The Eliminators rule it all! The first match I saw of them was the one on Barely Legal. That match got me hooked on them. Total Elimination is the coolest tag team move I have seen in an American ring.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Mikey/Tajiri and Raven/Dreamer. I picked Raven/Dreamer because of the story behind it, cause the matches could've been better to say the least.
Guest papacita Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 The Eliminators... I also liked Mikey and Tajiri, and Nova and Chetti
Guest Singular Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 FBI. The Tony Marinara (sp?) and Little Guido team. Tajiri and Whipwreck ruled it as well.
Guest papacita Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Wasn't it Tony Mamaluke??? Also, Doring and Roadkill. That was a good team.
Guest Si82 Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 I always liked Public Enemy. I know that they just did a lot of garbage brawls but I really liked their characters and some of the skits they shot. Plus I enjoyed there matches against The Gangstars. I also liked Whipwreck/Tajiri and the FBI too.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Impact Players or Raven and Richards.
Guest razazteca Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Triple Threat!!!! Lance Storm with anybody RVD & Sabu Spike & Balls Mahoney Simon & Swinger Doring & Roadkill were always good tag teams to watch Have not seen enough of Elimators to have an opinion on them.....But Total Elimation was one of my favorite spots.
Guest Singular Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 "Wasn't it Tony Mamaluke" Probably. I think he had different names in different promotions, but I'm not sure. It was the last version of the FBI before ECW died out.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 I mark for alot of ECW teams like The Eliminators, The FBI, and Simon & Swinger... but the best has to be The Dudleys without a doubt.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 I'm a mark for one of the eliminators. guess which one. The other one sucks, so i think the best team overall would be mikey and tajiri, followed by raven and richards. Then doring /roadkill, then Guido and mamaluke. I hated the dudleys in ecw. those promos got old FAST.
Guest razazteca Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 the Dudleys (D-Von & Buh Buh) are the greatest Heel tag teams of all time, especially with Joel Gertner as their manager. not a fan of the Well Well Well speil, eh?
Guest saturnmark4life Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 i was, until i saw it for the 2,000,000th time. Plus all their matches were the same shit.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Personal favorites...not the actual "best"...but my favs: 1. Dudley Boyz 2. Mikey and Cactus Jack 3. Mikey and Yoshi 4. Impact Players 5. Eliminators 6. Nova and Chetti 7. Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko 8. The Gangstas 9. FBI (Mamaluke and Guido) 10. Simon and Swinger
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Either: Benoit and Malenko OR The Impact Players (as much as I hate Credible, they just worked well as a team, kind of like the Midnite Xpress in that the team is better than the two individual wrestlers that comprise it)
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 I would have to go for the Eliminators, if only because they were a team that always impressed me, and I will give an honourable mention to Tajiri & Whipwreck because I did not see much of the team, but what I did see was impressive, and I am a mark for both guys.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted August 3, 2002 Report Posted August 3, 2002 Simon and Swinger and Tajiri and Whipreck. The Fuuny thing is, the time ECW was going bust, Paul finally got a decent little tag division going, after years of one team dominating everything
Guest Sandman9000 Posted August 4, 2002 Report Posted August 4, 2002 From what I've seen of the Eliminators, they are wicked overrated. However, all I have seen is the Barely Legal match, which really sucked, and vs. Terry Gordy and Dr. Death, which also sucked. Also, a cage match vs. the Gangstas, where wrestling is exchanged for bleeding. Not that I mind, of course. Look at the sig. Favorite team? Dudleys, Buh Buh Ray and D-Von. Quintesential (and I know I spelt that wrong, I don't care) heel team. I love the fact they came out to no music, and the place just exploded. No one could work a crowd quite like the two of them. Plus, those white baseball jerseys they had kicked ass on multiple levels. I wanted one sooooooo bad...
Guest converge241 Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 1. The Eliminators 3. Sabu and Van Dam 4. Raven and Richards 5. FBI (smothers and Guido) - witnessed their tag title loss in person *sniff* and yes there is no #2
Guest Bloodice Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 There were a lot of teams that I liked dating back to the days of tri state but i'd go with the eliminators pitbulls and danny doring and roadkill ...they were just starting to get over when ecw folded
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Talentwise, noone can touch Benoit/Malenko.
Guest mesepher Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I've always been a huge fan of the Eliminators... but I always enjoy watching matches involving the Pitbulls... they had a brutal finisher in the superbomb. Always fun to see that move done... and then the Super Duper Superbomb, wow I didn't see much of Mikey and Tajiri actually... RVD and Sabu had a good team, the Impact Players rocked the house. Nova and Chetti put on a good high flying show... Roadkill and Danny Doring worked well the Dudley Boyz were hardcore Raven and Dreamer could have been brilliant especially after Francine turned to Raven's side... but then the angle just disappeared I think
