I have a few true ones to tell.....but I'll just start off with one that happened to my uncle and his friend when he was younger.

 

My uncle was about 10 or 11 at the time. He went over to his friends house. They were home alone, my uncle and his friend went up from being down stairs to his friends bedroom. They went up were playing some records, they got hungry so they turned off the record player and left the light on. When they went into the kitchen and made the food. They turned off all the lights in the kitchen. When they went back to the stairs they heard music playing, they went to go look and sure enough the record player was playing and then they heard footsteps coming up the stairs...thinking someone came home his friend looked out to see indents in the carpet and the kitchen light on which had been off.....they took off running out of the house leaving all the lights on.

 

Anyways....be free to tell your stories or anything out of the weird happenings...that was just one of my many true storys just one that did not happen to me.

Here's one.

 

My ex-girlfriend's best friend lives in a subdivision built on top of an Indian Burial ground. Laughing at the stories I heard about ghosts and stuff, me and a friend cut a trail to the center of the undisturbed burial ground...nothing happened, and we found our way back.

 

Later, we thought it would be cool to invite the two girls around (he was dating her best friend) you know...ghosts n spooky stuff at nite, prime make-out

 

Funny...the trail we had just cut was overgrown, and we couldnt even come close to making it out there. Then, the flashlights we had just put new batteries in died save a really small one I had...were talking X-Files powered flashlights...they shouldnt die like that.

 

At that point, we all got a tingling sensation, and i decided now was a good time to leave...so we did.

 

Never shook the feeling something was watching though

This one is not really ghost but it's on that type of subject.

It really had no chance of growing. Anyways, a few days aftr she passed away, the flower grew to almost full size over night. It had almost my whole family in tears.

Okay here's another random story I can throw at you.

 

A few years ago, I was involved in quite the spectacular automobile accident...we wound up splitting a car in half. Somehow, I walked from the wreck uninjured.

 

Then, my cell phone rings as I exit the car. It's one of my oldest friends. He asks me if I'm okay with a tint of scared. I'm like, man you wouldn't believe what happened...

 

He says that something must have, because he just saw me and wondered why I didnt stop by.

 

Now, I'm in what...Mississippi and he's in Georgia, so I correct him and so no, I'm not in GA.

 

I tell him what happened, chat, hang up. The phone rings again...another friend...SAME exact thing.

 

It turns out I was wrong about just walking out of the car. An old lady told me at the hospital that she was first on the scene, and after it hit, I glassed over and stayed seated for about 2 minutes, then getting out like nothing happened.

 

Course, I've no recollection of just sitting there, which I assume, is very weird.

 

2 people seeing me within moments of what should have been a fatal wreck? spookiness.

 

I've got another one that Ill share when I get back from vacation.

Back in 98' I moved into this apartment with a friend, above two other of our friends who lived down stairs. The two who lived down stairs always told me stories about the family upstairs having problem with ghost. Well, that family moved out and I moved in and at first I was a little spooked but NOTHING ever happen until a year later.

 

Anyway, we all ended up getting Evicted. (Party House) My two friends down stairs already moved out so the house was empty except for me and my room mate. We were moving out in 2-3 days. It was actually a quiet night and no one was there except for him and myself. He's sitting in the chair talking to his Girlfriend on the phone and I'm sitting on the couch drinking a beer (about 10 at night) and I had the CD player on low. We had these two "Touch Lamps" which has four levels. Low, medium, high and off. We had them on low. We also had the kitchen and wall light on. (Don't be thinking were gay sitting there in the dark, bastards!)

 

So, he's sitting there talkin' to his girl and I'm listening to the CD Guns-N-Roses "Use Your Illusion 2" and the song (I swear) "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" was playing and this is where it gets weird. This static like fuzz comes over the song and the song turns itself down while the Static gets louder. The song turns off (you can actually see the knob with the red light move on it's own, we had no remote) and the static is loud as Hell and this Deep Voice comes up over the speakers out of Nowhere and says, "You can't even see in here" and the two Touch Lamps go up two levels to high on their own, and the voice and static goes away and the song turned itself back up full blast.

 

Now remember, lights are turning up on their own and the friggen radio is working itself and talking to us, all at the same time. Freaky shit! LOL, He drops the phone and we both go running out the door, down the stairs and out to the front porch. We were scared shitless but at the same time laughing. We were both too chicken shit to go back in so we went and got a 12 pack and put down a few beers in the front yard until we finally had the nerve to go back in.

 

I was happy as Hell to be out of there 2-3 days later.

 

Oh, but the night before we moved we had our girlfriends and other friends come down and watch "The Blair Witch Project" with us. It was just released on Video and all of us were looking around the house and trying to scare each other.

 

Some of my friends still don't believe that story so I doubt some of you will.

I've read stories like this with voices and stuff. I have had an experience with voices and seeing figures and shit....I believe the storie...thanks for sharing it was kool to read.

The day my Great Grandfather died my mom was taking a nap. She was alone at home. She said she was awake but her eyes were closed. She sensed someone walk into the room and actually felt someone sit on the bed. She was too scared to open her eyes so she just said, "stop it." When she opened her eyes no one was there. Later that day she gets the call that he died.

 

Couple of years later we are staying at his (the great grandfather that died) house. My Aunt and Uncle are going to move in there, but then they had not started so all of the old furniture was still there. My sister told me she was laying in the bed in his old bedroom. When she rolled over there he was sitting in a chair watching her. She closed her eyes in fear and when she opened them he was gone.

 

When I lived with my Grandmother I was using the room that my Great Grandmother (on my dad's side of the family) died in. I was sitting there playing video games and I was the only one home. All of the sudden someone whispers my name in my ear. I jump up and look around and no one is there.

 

and here's the last one.

 

I had a small apartment while at college that was behind another house. While there things would fall off of shelves sometimes. I moved to another apartment and strange things started happening. On my computer I never really touch the volume knob on my speakers cause it's right where I want it. One day I came back from class and it was turned all the way off (I lived alone). Then one day I walked in realizing I had not left a light on and it was dark. The light switch was across the room. As I reached the light switch I could make out a shadowy figure standing right in front of me and I could even faintly see glowing eyes...needless to say I turned that light on quick.

Those are some pretty freaky things, but kool.....I like reading ghost storys (I am weird)....that last one freaked me out a lil.

Here I will share one of my newest ones.

 

My friends Lindsay, Jess and I all went up to the cemetary up the road by the local collage. Anyways...it was a little while after dusk so it was getting dark outside. We were all gonna hold a seance, which we did using a Quija board (yes I believe they work). Anyways we contacted 2 spirits, both males born between 1856 and 1904 I believe. After we were done I took pictures with my camera, about 8 pics. Then we went to my car...just been washed and so on. We got in and I look at the windsheild and to see fingure prints and palm prints on the glass on the inside and outside on the car on the glass, some on the side windows and back one too. This scared the shit out of Jess, Lindsay and I were as usual calm about it. I took my pictures in the next day got them back on a friday and sure enough there were orbs, blue color mists (if you look close you can see faces within these mists too.) Its just really weird, many times I visit a grave yard and end up with nothing but hell I got proof that there is something out there and I have always believed since I was young.

Have any of you ever heard of the "Anson Lights" in Anson, TX?

 

Here's the story. Hope I get it right. Supposedly way back when a mother sent her kids out for some reason and they never returned. She went out to look for them and was killed. There is an old dirt road that runs along side a cemetary just outside Anson, TX. If you go down that road to an intersecting road and then turn around and flash your headlights the way you came then shortly there after in the distance you will see a lantern floating in the air up over the small hill in the road. It will move from side to side and then go back over the hill.

 

Sure enough some friends and I tried it and sure enough......I saw that lantern!

Texas has lots of haunted places. One of those mansions in Galveston is supposedly the most haunted place in TX. I think it's Moody Mansion or Ashton Villa. I would have guessed The Bishop's Palace cause it's the creepiest one of all of them.

It happend at my house, my dad was in the hallway infront of my room, no windows or no a/c was on so it was still in here. All of a sudden this cold rush of air came rushing out of my room down the hallway, I felt it too very cold breeze....freaky stuff, I have seen ghosts and felt them watching me in my house.

Anyways, while I was watching it, the door going downstairs closed by itself, then opened back up. I thought it was my sister at first, so I didn't think much of it. I didn't find out until this morning that it wasn't her. Boy, that freaked me out. Also, while I watching the video, the TV turned on by itself. It was on for a good hour, and I finally decided to turn it off. This is the first time anything has happened, and it was freaky, yet cool. B)

Well, nothing else has happened since. B) I'm not up on this ghost stuff, but how much harm can a poltegeist actually do? It's pretty cool that a spirit now lives with me. B)
