Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted August 4, 2002 the Ice!!! that is the worst name ever, for a hockey team Yeah, I agree. Oh well, the fans seem to love the name. They have their little "ICE, ICE, ICE, ICE" chant going at every game. B)

Guest treble charged Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Well, I didn't see this thread the first time around, so I hope you all don't mind me *bumping* it. Anyway, mine are: -August 2000: Montreal Alouettes vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders at Molson Stadium in Montreal. The BEST live atmosphere for anything that I've ever been to. -November 2001: Calgary Stampeders vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers. GREY CUP BABY! Awesome experience, and a good game, to boot. -October 2001/March 2002: WWF Raw/SmackDown!. The Raw was cool, as it was the first ever WWF TV taping that I had attended, while the SmackDown! taping was the first SD! after WM, so Hulkamania was still running wild, even though he didn't wrestle on the show. -May 2002: Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Ottawa Senators. Game 4 of their second round play-off series. Even though it took place in Ottawa, the place was full of Leafs' fans, and I was in my prime. Especially rubbing the Leafs' win into my dad's face (he's a Sens' fan). Special mention go to my first (and only) game ever Maple Leaf Gardens. I was only 6 at the time, and remember very little, but I need to mention that. Also, sitting 8 rows behind the net for the Leafs/Habs at the Forum was awesome, as well. Guest HBK16 Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Oh, and I also went to a WWE house show on September 11th, 1998. That was when the WWE was actually awesome to watch. The place went nuts for Austin. I agree. I went to a house show in 98. There was a cool Taker/Kane cage match and Sable showing her tits. Too bad I was 5 rows from the back.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Standing right up against the rail for Nasum in summer of 99. Same summer, I FINALLY saw Slayer live, and they fucking rocked. Seeing Tool live in 98 was also a religious experience. I've never been to a good wrestling show.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2002 I was at Raw a few months ago and we had 1 row of the elevated seats. The Hardy's did a run in on Brock. So they were like 1 feet away from me. Then later on that night some other wrestler did a run in I forgot who. But believe it or not, the best show I attended was a AAA show a couple of months ago. I don't like AAA too much but being 3 rows from the ring was awesome. Plus Esse Rios did a nice shooting Star Press and I shook La Parka's hand! Beat that! I know this is a late reply, but the AAA La Parka is not the same one that was in WCW. He's what I guess you could call La Parka II. Only events I've been to are Smackdown in Houston from Apr. 16th 2002 and a WCW house show in Abilene in March of 2000.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted September 13, 2002 The best concert I've been to was Radiohead in Florence, Italy. It was in the Piazza San Croce (I believe) which is where Michelangelo is buried. Just a perfect setting for their sort of music. There was a shooting star during "Pyramid Song," which later inspired the Pitchforkmedia review of Kid A and was a truly awesome bit of luck and coincidence. With the exception of the assholes on cell phones and the people yelling for "Creep," it was perfect. The best wrestling show I've been to was a house show here in Abilene a few months ago. Despite fucking Bradshaw being put over Lesnar, it was great. Good matches and an incredibly hot crowd. A wonderful time was had by all.
