Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted August 3, 2002 Report Posted August 3, 2002 So the Dali Lamma said to me..."Gunga...galunga...gungagungagalungalungagunga." ...*cough* Predict away lads and ladies, do the Time Warp again, and do the Hocky Poky...I'm drunk, ignore me. Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted August 3, 2002 Report Posted August 3, 2002 Tag Team Match X Force 9 (Annie E./Renegade) vs. Creative Control (Lerrin Breggan/Sacred) -Hmmmm...I'm an Annie/Gade mark, but Breggen and Sacred are...you know...great. BUT, Annie beat Sacred just a tad ago [no-show?] so I'll take a risk and go for the 9'ers. Ladder Match for the US Title Tom Flesher© vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -...fuck Tag Team Match Midnight Carnival (Edwin MacPhisto & El Luchadore Magnifico) vs. Magnificent 7 (The Boston Strangler & Frost) -Ouch...just...ouch. Basically, IMO, Eddie Mac and ELM are the two most talented people in the fed...so...despite TBS and Frost owning, they're quzi-dead, but they have a chance nonetheless. Hardcore Match Z vs. Silent -If Z doesn't write I will hang him from the Leaning Tower of Pisa by his testicles. On that note, if Z is 100%, I think he can pull it off by a margin. ICTV Title Match Erek Taylor© vs. Fallout Special Commentator: The Boston Strangler -Eek. Fallout is the most underatted person in this fed...but still, Erek is like...God, so...yeah. MAIN EVENT Singles Match Thoth vs. Chris Wilson -Hmmmm...quite the matchup here. Basically, it's dead-even, but ya know, Wilson's my stable's leader and all, so go Mag7 Boyo.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 4, 2002 Report Posted August 4, 2002 Maybe predicting'll kick-start the writing juices. So... Tag Team Match X Force 9 (Annie E./Renegade) vs. Creative Control (Lerrin Breggan/Sacred) -Oof...XF9 seems to have the momentum, but Breggan and Sacred working together is going to be amazing. I think this variant of the Creative Control triple threat will make an impressive showing. Ladder Match for the US Title Tom Flesher© vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -Seeing as TNT believes that his own death is inevitable, I'll agree with him. Heh...in all seriousness, TNT has an excellent shot at this, but coming off of Ground Zero, I think Flesher is going to be tough to stop. Tag Team Match Midnight Carnival (Edwin MacPhisto & El Luchadore Magnifico) vs. Magnificent 7 (The Boston Strangler & Frost) -Yoink. Mag's taking a bit of a break, so this one's all one me. How well I do will come down to how much time I spend on this and how much time I spend rockin' out to Tool tomorrow night... Hardcore Match Z vs. Silent -Z IS CRAZY BRAVE!!! ...and crazy dead. This one's gonna rule. ICTV Title Match Erek Taylor© vs. Fallout Special Commentator: The Boston Strangler -I think the Taylor/Strangler feud, as I said on the comments thread, has gotten above the belt by now--there's more between than a title. I would not be surprised to see Taylor job the belt...but I also wouldn't be surprised to see Fallout flat-out win his third ICTV title. Just because I have a feeling, I'm saying Fallout capitalizes on his big Ground Zero win with the title victory here. MAIN EVENT Singles Match Thoth vs. Chris Wilson -Dayyyyum! Matches that rock = this. A long time coming, with Thoth finally getting the shot he came back mid-June seeking. Ridiculously close, and I'm wondering how it's going to work out considering the "if Thoth wins, Storm is one-on-one" stipulation. Wilson seems unstoppable over the last, but I'm calling Thoth as the guy to stop him, by smidge.
Guest chirs3 Posted August 4, 2002 Report Posted August 4, 2002 Tag Team Match X Force 9 (Annie E./Renegade) vs. Creative Control (Lerrin Breggan/Sacred) ---> Jay Dawg's a lowly jobber. XF9 with eeeease. Ladder Match for the US Title Tom Flesher© vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson ---> TNT's a lowly jobber. Flesher with eeeease... or not. TNT's got a better chance than he thinks, but Flesher = Flesher. Close. Tag Team Match Midnight Carnival (Edwin MacPhisto & El Luchadore Magnifico) vs. Magnificent 7 (The Boston Strangler & Frost) ---> Strangler and Frost are lowl- wait, no they're not... Hardcore Match Z vs. Silent ---> Owwww... ICTV Title Match Erek Taylor© vs. Fallout Special Commentator: The Boston Strangler ---> Ay yi yi... Erek = GOD-LIKE N00B~!, but Fallout = Fallout. Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted August 4, 2002 Report Posted August 4, 2002 Tag Team Match X Force 9 (Annie E./Renegade) vs. Creative Control (Lerrin Breggan/Sacred) * Before Storm, I'd say it was all about CC, but XF9 had a good night, fo sho. Even though, if Breggan and Sacred can click...I'm gonna go with CC by a weeee bit. Ladder Match for the US Title Tom Flesher© vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson * This has match of the night written all over it. Flesher had a great showing at Ground Zero, but I think that while he's looking over the shoulder with the LHW belt on it, TNT's gonna sneak away with the upset and a title. Tag Team Match Midnight Carnival (Edwin MacPhisto & El Luchadore Magnifico) vs. Magnificent 7 (The Boston Strangler & Frost) * Carnivals lucky, because if this was CCBB, this would be a no-brainer. However, its not, but I think ELM may be on vacation. Not sure when he was leaving. With that, I think Strangler and Frost take the upset victory. M7 pride! Hardcore Match Z vs. Silent * Z's gonna totally knock the snot out of Silent. ICTV Title Match Erek Taylor© vs. Fallout Special Commentator: The Boston Strangler * Fallout. I don't know if Erek can write, and if he can he may storyline it, because Strangler/Taylor, the rematch, is going to be huuuuuge. MAIN EVENT Singles Match Thoth vs. Chris Wilson * The Tampa Bay Devil Rays

Guest Coffin Surfer Posted August 4, 2002 Report Posted August 4, 2002 Tag Team Match X Force 9 (Annie E./Renegade) vs. Creative Control (Lerrin Breggan/Sacred) Annie beat Sacred, and Renegade's badass. So XF9. Ladder Match for the US Title Tom Flesher© vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson MOTN regardless who wins. Flesher beat TNT before, but it's going to be hard to do it again. Plus a gimmick match favors TNT's more over the top style. Tag Team Match Midnight Carnival (Edwin MacPhisto & El Luchadore Magnifico) vs. Magnificent 7 (The Boston Strangler & Frost) Sorry, but if Strangler/Frost couldn't beat Tod/Pete than they can't beat ELMs and Edwin. Hardcore Match Z vs. Silent Silent cause Z will no show. Expect one of the Demonstar Drivers to murder Z, and help Silent get over as a killer. Though the DSD's don't seem that deadly because two them look like a fancy Exploder 98 and a Tiger Driver 91. And Kenta Kobashi has kicked out of both ot them. ICTV Title Match Erek Taylor© vs. Fallout Special Commentator: The Boston Strangler Taylor. And of course Strangler will get involved. MAIN EVENT Singles Match Thoth vs. Chris Wilson Wilson. To be honest Thoth's matches do nothing for me. But than again he isn't writing for me. Whatever you do Wilson, don't charge him blindly.
Guest Kibagami Posted August 5, 2002 Report Posted August 5, 2002 I would just like to note that Z ain't no Kenta Kobashi. ::Orange Crushes the shit out of the lil' ol' Carnie:: S. EDIT: And Danny, do you see any North American workers in the WWE even TAKING an Exploder '98 or the Tiger Driver '91, much less actually KICKING OUT of 'em? No, no, I think these are neck bumps aplenty for my purposes...

No, no, I think these are neck bumps aplenty for my purposes... I don't know. Z has got the stiff Lariats, he does goofy overselling, and his vitiality used to be a 9. Hmmmmmm. Just because WWE workers don't take them, doesn't mean they can't. Vince is just a pussy, who wants everyone to use Spinebusters. I once saw Taue take a Tiger Driver 91, and he was 6'7" 275 pounds and in horrible shape at the time. Which leads me to believe that most of the WWE workers could take a neck bump if they were taught properly.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted August 6, 2002 Report Posted August 6, 2002 SWF Smarkdown The Card Venue: Madison Square Garden in New York, New York Tag Team Match X Force 9 (Annie E./Renegade) vs. Creative Control (Lerrin Breggan/Sacred) -Annie really impressed me with her Storm match and working with Renegade might temper some of the criticisms I made. TNT and I really check each other well and that has made us a good team, so I'm looking for the same thing here. I look for JD to involve himself here somehow. WINNER: XF9 Ladder Match for the US Title Tom Flesher© vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -I can't pick against my partner can I? If TNT is on, focused and determined he can take this. As others have said, I believe a ladder match plays into TNT's strengths better than Flesher's and that might give him the edge. WINNER: TNT Tag Team Match Midnight Carnival (Edwin MacPhisto & El Luchadore Magnifico) vs. Magnificent 7 (The Boston Strangler & Frost) -I'm not sure how TBS finished up, but I wrote a really hot opener. Edwin might have an advantage by writing the match alone as he mentioned, as I think one man's vision is always stronger than two men trying to coordinate together. TBS and I have not found our groove like TNT and I have, but I do enjoy working with Strangler and find him to be a major talent with a good wrestling mind. Hardcore Match Z vs. Silent -As I always say, this comes down to who can write Z's character the best. I've found the trick with him and Z is my favorite character to write against bar none. This should be close, but I'll give Z the nod as he is a worthy competitor I have faced before and I'm still figuring Silent out. WINNER: Z ICTV Title Match Erek Taylor© vs. Fallout Special Commentator: The Boston Strangler -If TBS doesn't get involved here, I'll be surprised. Logical booking says Taylor retains to set up a big blow off for the the Taylor/TBS feud down the road. WINNER: TAYLOR MAIN EVENT Singles Match Thoth vs. Chris Wilson -Some of the plot threads layed on Storm involving Thoth should come together here. Should be just an awesome read all around, no matter who wins. Got to go with the boss though. WINNER: WILSON
