Top 10 Analysis:

1) Edwin MacPhisto - Still the current SWF champ. Has continued to survive serious threats to his title and is currently leader of the most powerful face stable in the league. The stress of being champion and the constant threat of the Magnificent 7 are obviously starting to get to the champ. His trademark charisma has become less evident lately, the quality of his matches has dropped slightly and as a result the pop from his fans has noticeably decreased. On the other hand a darker, more ruthless side of Edwin has been emerging lately which has served him well in title defences and gained him more respect from some cynical internet smarks.

2) Chris Wilson - Wilson continues to play the top villain in the league and is still the leader of the Magnificent 7. He continues to cut strong promos and unlike his rival, Edwin MacPhisto, has remained focused and seems to be less adversely effected by the recent Clan/Carnival vs. Magnificent 7 war. Wilson recently scored a major coup by beating the Clanival in the Wargames match at Ground Zero (one of the biggest, if not the biggest match in SWF history). Wilson remains in the thick of the title hunt and if his recent momentum continues, he may have the top spot next month.

3) Thoth - While the balancer is no longer leader of the Clan, Thoth is still a major player in the current main event storyline. Given the opportunity to show off his polished speaking skills and compete at a main event level, Thoth has impressed the SWF office and fans alike. He has recently entered into the race for the SWF's top title by winning a #1 contender's match and those who want "new blood" in the main event are calling for him to win the title when he finally gets his shot against Edwin.

4) Fallout - Good old dependable Fallout. Fallout will almost always deliver a good to excellent match even if his mic skills leave a lot to be desired. Has the ability to drop the occasional match to new talent thus putting them over while still retaining his own heat and momentum, although he hasn't been dropping many matches lately. A strong bet for the next SWF ICTV champion.

5) Erek Taylor - The current SWF ICTV champion. A very talented and fresh competitor in the ring, Taylor has become hugely over with the crowd mostly through his exciting ring work. Taylor is currently embroiled in a feud with the Boston Strangler, which is keeping interest in his character high. Erek's recent bouts have been very entertaining, but not quite at the level of some of the stuff he was doing when he first entered the league. Erek continues to work hard, but some other wrestlers have stepped up their games even further, thus pushing him down the card slightly.

6) Tom Flesher - The current SWF US champion and Light-heavyweight champion. A talented wrestler and talker, Flesher doesn't quite have the charisma or presence of some of the other top stars, but he is improving by leaps and bounds each the week. Flesher truly arrived on the scene when he managed to defeat El Luchadore Magnifico at Ground Zero in a 4 star plus match that impressed a lot of people.

7) Jay Dawg - The current SWF Hardcore champion. Dawg's left his reputation as a jobber in the dust to become one of the league's more unique and entertaining performers. A somewhat under-rated but not excellent technical wrestler, Dawg has set himself up as the new "king of hardcore" in the SWF and is becoming well-known for his unique and brutal spots. Dawg continues to play Stubby's right hand man, and his position in the company rises along with the power of his stable Creative Control.

8) El Luchadore Magnifico - One of the most skilled wrestlers in the league. Magnifico combines solid mat work with flashy high-flying to make him the Shawn Micheals of the SWF. He frequently pulls great matches out of undercard wrestlers and lesser talent. Magnifico seems a bit directionless at the moment and has suffered some high profile losses lately, but the springiest guy in the SWF is sure to rebound.

9) Lerrin Breggan - This new addition to the SWF and Creative Control is a very talented worker for a man his size and projects a physical menace nearly unmatched in the league today. While still basically a rookie, Breggan has taken top SWF stars right to their limits. While his mic skills are far from impressive those are sure to improve with time.

10) The Boston Strangler - A solid worker and speaker, the Boston Strangler has become one of the top (if not the top) wrestler in the Magnificent 7 after the stable's leader Chris Wilson. Strangler is an intimidating presence in the ring and gave Erek Taylor a serious run for his money at Ground Zero.

Eek, I'm down 5!?!?!?

Well, with all the new talent and breakthroughs, it's not a surprise that I'd go down a few, so whatever. Anyhoo, once again, I love this thing, so keep it up Stubbs...did I mention that the wrestlers ranked 1-18 all hate you, and because of that you should lower them all in the rankings? I didn't? Well, I should have. ;)

"You're down 5, but there are still the same number people below you as last month.

8 last month, 8 this month. You've basically maintained your position, but with about 5 or 6 new people debuting, just doing that means you'll probably still drop.

Ace stuff. It's always good to know the cynical internet smarks are on my side.

And TNT, look at this way: the only reason you went down 5 slots is because five "new" veterans are here. Yeeees.

Edit: Mah gawd, Stubby beat me to it. Darn you to fire and brimstone and the like!

"Yeah...the basic formula is...

...count up how many "new" people are above you. If you've dropped more places than that number you've actually dropped, but if it's the same or less you've either maintained your spot or actually risen a bit.

Great work, as usual Stubby, but I'm gonna have to argue just a bit with the positioning.

TNT and Frost both won two matches at the PPV with two very good matches, but they're behind Tod, who they beat at the PPV, and Silent, who hasn't had a match yet. Other than that, it looks peachy-keen, and its great to see Flesher, JD and Erek up at the top. Way to go, guys. Even you, JD, you sumbitch.

Hey, debut at 14! not too bad, and considering that I'm about to 0wn JD and run with the HC title until my name is premanently attached to it, I can only go up from here!
