His delivery sucks, his lyrics are stupid (full of dumb pop-culture crap, feuds with Spears, Christina, etc. rather than actual rappers), and he wouldn't be anything if he wasn't riding on the coattails of one of rap's all-time greats. Most of the stuff that is played like "The Real Slim Shady" and "Without Me" is mainstream, but thats really not what he's all about. If you take the time to actually listen to his latest album, he really gets deep on some of his songs, and as for battling rappers....he's been dissing Canabis in his last album as well and pretty much challenges everyone in "Til I Collapse". So Solid crew are what we call 'garage' in Britain rather than just rap. and it's very tiresome. Another good British rapper is a guy called Roots Manuva, you might wanna check him out. Other than that, the only things anything like rap i like are some J5, a couple of eminem songs (i really like without me) and maybe a couple of missy elliot songs. beastie boys if they count. I don't really like Cash Money, but I have to give respect to Mannie Fresh because he is musically talented. He had tons of potential with his first few singles, but now he seems like all he cares about is Pop/Rap and getting on TRL.
