Guest Blackston Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 I guess nobody cares about my question... The WWF finally beat Nitro by baiting the viewers with a Stone Cold-Vince one on one matchup, and then pulling a switch with a Dude Love heel turn. The next week, WCW hotshotted Hogan-Goldberg, and the rest is history.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Hogan v. Goldberg was in June. Vince v. Austin was in April
Guest prez Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 The next week, WCW hotshotted Hogan-Goldberg, and the rest is history. Actually, the next week, the main event was Hogan-Savage.
Guest Blackston Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Shit... another fuck-up... Whoops... How many wrestlers main evented both a WCW and a WWF pay per view in the same calendar year?
Guest Austin3164life Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 6 Hogan, Hall, Nash, Flair, Luger, Bret??
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 What WWF PPV did Hall main event from July 95 until he left?
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 What Former WWF wrestler traveled the Indi Circuits in Canada with Edge , Christian and Rhyno?
Guest midnight_burn Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 "How many wrestlers main evented both a WCW and a WWF pay per view in the same calendar year?" DDP did last year (WCW Greed in March and WWF Invasion in whatever month it was) As for other people, i'll guess Hogan, Flair and Nash.
Chunk Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Is anyone allowed to post questions? I got one.... Which show/ppv saw the first (and possibly only) ever double change over of a WWF Title? And who did the title change between?
Guest nWoScorpion Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Hogan beat Yoko who beat Bret at WM 9
Guest Blackston Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 I'm pretty sure that Nash (IYH GF:BE, BatB 96) and DDP (Greed, Invasion) are the only two wrestlers to pull the trick. Hogan left the WWF in '93, and didn't jump to WCW until '94. Flair was really close, but he didn't main event a WWF PPV in '93, leaving the WWF shortly after Royal Rumble '93.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Flair main evented WrestleWar91 and Royal Rumble 92. So it's- Booker T, Flair, DDP, Nash
Guest prez Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Don't forget about Benoit (WCW Souled Out, and WWF Fully Loaded and Unforgiven 2000).
Chunk Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 NWO SCORPION: You got it completely correct! Well done! :-) ChUnK!
Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Add Bret who main evented Survivor Series 97 and Fall Brawl 98
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Here's one: Name 7 people who've been both a wwf and a wcw heavyweight champion. Note: I'm not counting any wcw reigns during the invasion, so Rock, Jericho, and Angle don't count.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Bret Hogan Savage Big Show Flair Nash Buddy Rogers
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 The first six are right, but Buddy Rogers was never a wcw champ, he was an nwa champ.
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Who Traveled with Edge Christian and Rhino during the Indi wrestling Period before WWF. Hint 1 he is a former Preliminary WWF wrestler

Guest Eagan469 Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 What did Johnny Polo used to bring with him to the commentary booth on Superstars to piss off Vince and JR?
Guest Eagan469 Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 True, but this is a physical object.
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 All I ever remember him carrying is a cane.
Guest Eagan469 Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Ah, screw it, nobody will get it. It was a sound effects machine (early 1994)
