At a guess either Ted DiBiase or Rick Martel. More likely DiBiase with it being around the end of the 70's.

Alright, how about this question.

Who was the first wrestler to win the WCW World title on Monday Nitro?

How about the first wrestler to win the WWF World title on Raw is War?

How about Smackdown!?

Alright, how about these hints, then...

The first winner at Nitro took part on the first "major" Nitro (shortly before monthly Pay Per View Events), in Las Vegas, in 1996.

Raw didn't have a world title change hands until the company started to ramp themselves up towards Wrestlemania 13. For me, though, this title match was more note-worthy for what happened after the match, then what happened during the match.

Vince is right.

Nitro- Hogan. Only person I could think of.

Raw- Sid winning the title from Bret Hart the night after Final Four 1997. Sid won from interference when Steve Austin clocked Bret in the head while Bret had the Sharpshooter on Sid. After the match Bret and Austin brawled senselessly.

Had to have been Savage...Flair won the title from Savage at Starrcade 95, and he and Savage traded it before Flair lost to the Giant, so he would have lost it to Savage on Nitro.

Savage and Sid are right.

I think that the Hart-Sid match occured in a steel cage, which Sid won after interference from Austin and The Undertaker. That ending always pissed me off, because I thought that Austin (who was pretty much God at this point) should have helped Hart out, thereby protecting a title match at WM 13. Anyways, after the match was over, I think Hart went on a cursing rampage, dropping the unedited f-bomb twice. It was almost surreal... and completely tipped off his upcoming heel turn. Awesome mic work there.

Savage ended Flair's reign just a couple weeks after Flair went through a triangle match and a title match against Savage at Starrcade. The thing that I remember most about this match, is that it actually opened the show that night. That was key because Nitro used to start an hour before Raw did back in these days.

The match they are refering to isn't the cage match. The cage match was the rematch for the first Sid/Bret raw match.

And if I recall, Austin did his damndest to get the belt on Bret, but Undertaker (Protecting the Sid/Taker main event) slammed the door on Bret.

shit... I guess that I was just confused. Now I remember how the whole thing went down... Oh well. Do you all want another question?

Name the ten* men that have competed on a November 2 Remember, Starrcade and Wrestlemania event. Keep in mind that there were several untelevised N2R shows.

* one man competed on the Free 4 All, in this question, though, he counts.
