Isn't Hogan having some back problems right now?

If not, damn my sources.

Did Goldust go?  If he did, he HAS to do the Crocodile Hunter thing again.

Nope. In fact I get to see him fight William Regal live in Kelowna tomorrw night.

I think I just made barron jealous :D

I don't know if they want Hogan down there anyway, unless he was really over down there before. if the purpose of the trip is to get Australians into wrestling, having a 52 year old man (heh) hang around is not the way to do it.

Meltzer said he got a lot of feedback from Australian wrestling fans who were not happy when they heard Hogan wasn't going to be there.

I guess Hulkamania is still running wild down under.

WWE is filled with too many whiny bitches.

Give Hogan a little extra...it'll pay off with the fan support they'll receive there.

I can't necessarily blame Hogan for wanting more money. The number of dates that he would be expected to work was a point of contention during the contract negotiations.

I think the age thing must be the traditional layer of Bullshit that 1Wrestling seasons their stories with. Hogan was mocking his own age in an SD promo prior to Brock. ("The 25 year old rookie or.... Uh.... I'm 29, dude!")

Also, Hogan is one of the highest-paid guys in the company right now, but so is Nash (who was seen as required for an NWO angle), Big Show (who was signed in desperation), and Mark Henry (because Vince thought World's Strongest Man would = GOLD.) With that track record, shit, at least Hogan is over.

It cracks me up though in Feb people said we'd be calling for Hogan's head by KOR. Now people want him to retire at WrestleMania. With Shawn's Retirement Match this month, WWE will want to space all these departures out. I suspect Flair will be next to go, probably at the Rumble but maybe as soon as SSeries.

Hogan shouldn;'t take that seriously. Besides, I would want more money to be a on a 16 friggin hour flight to a country i never been too. Does WWE Even have that many fans down under? Caus eI thought they were limited to like 3 channels, 2 of them being static.

LOL, back to the history books for you...mister scorpion...

Maybe your forgetting WCW sold out their whole tour here in 2000? If WCW has fans, i'd say its a safe bet there are a few WWE ones in the crowd too...

As for Hogan, i completly understand where he is coming from. I HATE travelling, yet alone 16 fucking hours on a plane, only to arrive totally jet lagged and then perform...only to do the WHOLE thing all over again the next day.

If i didnt get the right sort of money in Hogan's situation, i wouldnt go either.

This has been the Taker Mark

I'll wait till more sources pick up on this before I start Hogan bashing. At least he is jobbing and I'm sure he's still making plenty of money off of merchandise.

Wellllll...

As an Australian, I can safely tell you that there are a hell of a lot of wrestling fans down here. Nowhere near as many as there were in 99/00, but still a hell of a lot. The WWE could easily sell out a national tour in all the major cities - not just the one.

Anyway, I believe a heaps of tickets were sold on the premise of seeing Hulk Hogan. He's never been to the country before. But hey, neither has the WWE. Anyway, it's not really fair to those people, and there's probably a lot of them.

But hey, great for the show. I know I'd rather pretty much see anything that isn't Brock vs. Hulk.

I was just kidding too-

Even though I am insanely jealous.

But seriously-

Make a lot of noise during that match so both guys get big pushes. :-)

Jesues! Talk about not checking up on the story by 1wrestling. The reason why Hogan isn't down here is because the manegment and Hogan agreed for him not to be down here because the long flight my highten back problems he had been having, not because of money.

No amount of money could get me to travel 16 hours on an effin' plane. Wrestle, and do it again.

That's crazy talk.

I'd do it.. You know why? BECAUSE IT'S MY JOB AND I'M GETTING PAID TO DO IT!

And these guys are all athlete-entertainers, and when you no-show something like that you're letting all your fans down that came and PAID to see YOU.

I hope Hogan gets an Austin screwjob, and fast. Fuckers.

I can understand Hogan getting a little upset at The Rock mocking his age, but I TOTALLY agree with Nash about the big Daddy Bitch. Go back and watch that promo. Nash poured his heart into that interview and had so much emotion, only to have Rock call him a bitch and Hall chico while he and Hogan laugh. How was the nWo a threat? Just pissed me off because Nash really delivered there in that segment. Go back and watch it. Rock isn't funny and the fact that he rarely takes ANY opponent seriously anymore makes me sick. People think Edge's comedy is ridiculous, watch the People's Champ.

Oh dude I intend to.

I would do anything to get more Regal and Golddust on TV :)

Since Hogan wasn't on the European tour, what would have happened if HE were on the plane? Oh, the hilarity!

Hogan would have walked around the plane putting his hand to his ear and flexing
