Promo: Lessons to be learned

Lerrin slams his fist into a metal locker, a huge scowl covering his face. “Calm down Lerrin, this is not what we need right now,” soothes Jamie Drazon. “A few minor setbacks won’t end your career, and we won’t be held down much longer.”

Breggan looks over at his friend, then finally lowers his arm. He begins to pace the room, still fuming for some odd reason. “You know, I should have won. I should have won ALL OF THOSE MATCHES.” The big man shakes his head and smashes the locker again. “I should have that damn Heavyweight title around my waist, I should have the ICTV title around my waist, and I sure as hell shouldn’t have let some little girl beat me in the center of the ring!” At this, he shoots Sacred a very icy glare.

“Fuck you man, if you knew how to work as a team, then maybe we could have won on Smarkdown. Its not my fault you’re just a big crybaby that CAN’T GET THE JOB DONE,” Sacred fires back, not backing down from anyone. He stands, eyes still locked in a deadly game with his teammate.

Lerrin stalks towards Sacred, neither man flinching, merely inches apart now. “If you were half the wrestler I was, we wouldn’t need to rely on each other to win. Fact, that little bitch beat you in a singles match, and for us to even last as long as we did, it was ALL ME. I should have just stayed in there the whole time, because they knew who the weak link was and exploited it. X Force 9 may be naive, but they’re not stupid. The only stupid person in that match,” Lerrin pauses for a dramatic delivery. “WAS YOU!” He shoves Sacred, who almost falls back onto the couch.

At this, Jamie Drazon quickly gets between the two men. “FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU,” Sacred shouts, pointing each of the other Creative Control members. “FUCK THIS. Next time you get a worthless arrogant piece of shit to join up JD, make sure you can control him. I need to cool off or I’m going to knock that asshole out.” Lerrin tries to take a step at Sacred, who just taunts him and edges him on, but Drazon won’t allow it.

“Go on Sacred, I need to have a talk with Lerrin anyways,” Jamie commands forcefully, not quite as relaxed as before. Sacred obliges, making his departure purposefully slow. He circles around the monster, but Jay Dawg stays in between the two warriors, not wanting this to break down into a physical confrontation. If that happens, all is lost.

Finally, Sacred exits, leaving Breggan and Drazon alone in the extravagant Creative Control locker room. Arriving a day early, upon insistence from the Hardcore Champion, the three wrestlers have been practicing and training in the ring. Something they cannot do in a regular gym. “You better get your damn head straight, before someone knocks it off,” Drazon instructs the other man. “You have all of the tools needed to go far, Stubby knows it, King knows it, we ALL know it. Look at what you did to Edwin, you took him to the very limit! The fucking bastard had to cheat to beat us.”

“But he beat us,” Lerrin grumbles quietly, staring at the floor now. “And Fallout beat me, and Wilson beat me, and Renegade and Annie beat me! ARGH!” Lerrin walks back to the locker and hits it again, the dent getting deeper and deeper with each successive attack.

“Hey, HEY,” Jamie bellows, trying to get Lerrin focused again. “Not everything comes easy. You have to have some god damn patience. Look at me, would I have this,” pointing down to his Hardcore Championship title belt on the couch, “if I was as erratic as you? Would I be able to hold on to it if I had the temper of a fucking 5 year old like you?”

Lerrin opens his mouth, about to respond but Jamie cuts him off. “NO, I wouldn’t. I used to be like you, thinking I could take on the world, thinking I could do anything and it would come out alright, well that’s not the case here in the SWF. Everyone is just too good to take for granted. Why do you think we wanted you in Creative Control?”

“Because I’m the..” Lerrin says, but is interrupted by his ally once more.

“Maybe, that has yet to be proven. All I see in you right now is a beast, who has the potential to utterly dominate the SWF, but your arrogance and attitude are holding you down. You need to learn how to utilize your anger, make it a tool to give out more punishment. The SWF is in a very tentative state right now. Stubby, King, and I have discussed it. There is no clear cut leader among the wrestlers, there is no stable that is head and heels better than the rest. This is our chance, our chance to take the top spot Lerrin.”

Breggan lets the words sink in, dawning on the big picture. “Well, at least I have your full attention now,” continues Drazon, hoping that he is getting through. “I can sympathize with your frustrations about before, but god dammit, don’t take them out on Sacred. He's one of the best at what he does, which is why he is with us. We need to stay together as one unit, not showing weakness. And on Storm, there is yet another surprise we’ve cooked up for the rest of the SWF.”

“And that is?” questions Lerrin.

“You’ll see, but the real issue is are you ready for your match with Annie?” Jay Dawg retorts, quickly changing subjects.

Lerrin grins evilly, anticipating the match-up very much. “Annie Eclectic is going to regret every single word that has come out of her pretty little mouth. There is going to be no mercy on Storm. I promise you that.”

“Just don’t get too overzealous man, you know how much trouble comes along with that,” warns Drazon. “I wouldn’t want to see you lose, again.” This time, Jamie is pressing buttons carefully, trying to keep the fire for revenge alive.

Breggan glares at Jamie, but doesn’t say a word. He growls, remembering the disappointment he has brought upon himself lately and fires another shot into the locker, this time punching right through the thin metal door. “Fucking bitch will go down, JD.”

"Really?" JD questions, teasing Lerrin to go off the rocker. "Why don't you prove it to me."

Lerrin steps forward, looking straight at JD. The Hardcore champ smiles, looking at Lerrin, and opens his eyes.

"Don't do that man. I know shit happens when you do that."

JD smiles as Lerrin released his knowledge.

"Are you ready to listen? Are you ready to go far, like the star you are!?"

"On Storm... I'll show you and everyone else, why I am in this stable!" Lerrin exits the locker room and slams the door shut behind him.

“All to easy,” Jamie chuckles, allowing his lids to shut, he smiles. “I wouldn’t want to be Annie Eclectic tomorrow night Oh no... if that bitch keeps coming, she'll be derailed, then destroyed. That thing is for sure."

OOC: This promo was written by Lerrin, and editted by me as he had to leave. Enjoy if you must!

PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed);

"Written by Lerrin?

Hmmm...I thought it was lacking that trademark Dawg suckyness.

Damn, nobody's stable can keep it together it seems.

And I was gonna say it sucks, but JD didn't write it, so I can be honest. That was pretty darn good, Lerrin!

Zing. Tensions all over, eh? Last month was stables coming together, and this month is them yelling at each other and getting stressed out. Rises and falls, I suppose.

Very interesting, and though I think I have a handle on what the surprise might be, I'm excited. Though I am more excited to see if Lerrin can rebound.
