Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted August 9, 2002 - Very interesting article about the TNA lawsuit in the Tennessean newspaper today. Jerry Jarrett was quoted in the article as saying they were "only doing 25,000” buys. The company is asking for $10 million in damages from Len Sabal, Jay Hassman and company. Sabal said: “The suit is nonsense, it's laughable, and everyone in the cable industry who looks at it just shrugs their shoulders and shakes their head.” Credit: Wrestlingobserver.com The last comment struck me as odd, since from what info I've read, the suit seems pretty open-and-shut for TNA. If TNA does get all the damages, that'll keep them in business for a LONG time, as the initial investment was only $4.5 million, and their projected losses I think so far are about $600,000 or so.
