Guest BA_Baracus Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Damn lazy Thugg. ------------------------------------------------------- Show: SWF Smarkdown Date: August 12, 2002. Arena: The Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin! Due date: August 12, 2002 at 12PM (noon) central time. Send promos to: BA_Baracus TAG TEAM MATCH Danny Williams & Xero vs. El Luchadore Magnifico & Z - A couple weeks back Danny Williams and Xero shook hands after fighting a brutal match. There appears to be some type of friendship between the two, but will it be enough to overcome Magnifico and Z? Word Limit: 4000 words Send to: BA_Baracus SINGLES MATCH Ash Ketchum vs. The Boston Strangler - Ash Ketchum is convinced that someone from the Magnificent 7 took him out of action for a couple weeks. So, of course it logically follows that he must fight the Boston Strangler on Smarkdown. Word Limit: 3500 words Send to: HVilleThugg NON-TITLE, NO-DQ MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Silent - Stubby isn’t quite sure what all the fuss over Silent is about, but he’s sending his right hand man to find out. Match Description – Regular DQ and count-out rules are not in effect. Submissions, pinfalls and knockouts only count within the ring. Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: BA_Baracus TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Edwin MacPhisto & Chris Raynor © vs. Frost & “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson - Frost and TNT won the tag title’s #1 contendership way back at Ground Zero. It’s been a while coming, but on Smarkdown the title match finally happens! Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: HVilleThugg SINGLES MATCH Perfect Bo vs. Annie Eclectic - Perfect Bo returned on Storm and looked as if he was going to join X-force 9, but at the last moment he turned on them and revealed that he was really joining Creative Control (bwahahahaa!). Anywho…Bo looks to kick some curvy XF9 bum this Monday. Word Limit: 4000 words Send to: BA_Baracus “I QUIT” MATCH Lerrin Breggan vs. Erek Taylor - Apparently Erek Taylor stole some of Stubby’s weed on Storm. The ultimate crime, and while it doesn’t really seem like something Taylor would do, Stubby’s convinced it was him and has sent Lerrin Breggan to teach him a lesson. Match Description – Regular DQ and count-out are not in effect. The winner is the first one to force their opponent of audibly say, “I quit”. Word Limit: 5000 words Send to: HVilleThugg ICTV TITLE MATCH Fallout © vs. Chris Wilson - Chris Wilson suffered the indignity of being eliminated first in the heavyweight title match on Storm. Can he rebound this Monday, and win himself his first singles gold since returning to the SWF? Word Limit: 6000 words Send to: BA_Baracus ------------------------------------------------------------ Mothernature says..."
Guest Rabbi_wilson13 Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 WO-ah. I don't think I've had an ICTV shot since like the second PPV ever. Coooooool. Not that I can beat Fallout anyway, and I've got to bust out a big ol' promo, too. My goodness that card is so good. The tag team title match would benefit from an increase in wordage, but it's still gonna rule. JD/Silent. Oh lord. Breggan/Taylor is gonna soooo red-hot. Plus the return of both Ash and Bo and a solid M7/Carnie main event. Nice work, Stubbster. Only suggestion would be maybe stipifying and largening the tag title. other than that, superb
Guest The Myriad Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Hrm...not booked. My fault I guess, I just assumed thugg would tell stubby. Meh.
Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 3500 words? Damn, that's the shortest match I've written since I was jobbing down in the JL. Not complaining, though. Short matches can be fun, ESPECIALLY if they aren't tag matches (THANK YOU).
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Holy crap Strangler, you're right! This is your first singles match since...wow. Ground Zero? Poor guy. Cool singles confrontations seems to be the name of the game. Wilson/Fallout should be especially interesting, as both men are pretty much at the top of their game right now, with ridiculously quality winning streaks since the end of June. Should also be interesting to see if Wilson writes for the belt, as he's never been the ICTV champion. Breggan/Erek could easily steal the show. JD/Silent also excites me, but poor Silent, three matches in the fed and not a one is just straight-up singles. And it's tag title rematch time...they came close as hell last time, so this should be one helluva challenge.
Guest -Cutthroat- Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 WOOOOOOOOOO!! Smarky.... Greatest...card...ever...
Guest HVilleThugg Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Sorry Merc...I assumed that you PMed both of us. I had a post earlier this week, or maybe late last week where we made it clear that you had to PM both me and Stubby for booking requests. Guess you didn't see it. I'm pretty sure you'll be booked for Storm...sorry about that. Oh, and can you PM me and Stubby what your deal is. Are you with M7? Hell/Face? What? Help us book you in an appropriate match by just giving us a little blurb about what Merc's deal is. Thanks Da " good card...Storm comments later" H PS - Jesus!! When does King come back?!? So many fucking matches to mark. Just so y'all know, I"m not going to be as forthcoming with the extensions this week, because I can't afford to be up till dawn marking your damn long-winded ass matches. Bitches!!
Guest Tyler McClelland Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I coulda marked *if you woulda asked*
Guest BA_Baracus Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Pfft...Outcast marking. Over my dead body! Mothernature says..."
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Pfft...Outcast marking. Over my dead body! Mothernature says..." *shoots Stubby* I CAN MARK! I CAN MARK! YIPPY SKIPPY!
Guest Tyler McClelland Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Eh, I used to mark for the JL. Again, it's just less work for you
Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Didn't you mark WF matches for a couple of weeks too, when Stubby never seemed to have anyone else around to help?
Guest BA_Baracus Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Probably. And ah reckon he did a horrible job! Mothernature says..."
