Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Ok, when ever they edit together a promo like that, it makes it seem like it is worth something. I like still having the mark in me. haha! Great video package. It would be better if HHH and HBK's vocal's were edited out, and instead, we had someone doing a voice over for them. I'm sorry, but they pulled out about the worst promo in either of their careers.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Another thing....why doesn't the WWE book like INTs with big stars on Heat? Jesus, just have the Rock go out there for 10 minutes...talk about Brock. That would gain so many people watching Heat it would make their minds explode. Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Yes, this Summerslam, HBK comes back not to wrestle, but to FIGHT! I don't know about you, but that does not prompt me to care for that either.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Darn. No Raven wrestling. At least I get a D-Lo match out of it.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Good to see D-Lo is still wrestling and not letting his prime years blow away at an announce table.
Guest BifEverchad Report post Posted August 11, 2002 Raven is in fucking AWESOME shape.... this promo reminds me of when he used to get Saturn to fight Beniot. hehe
Guest DawnBTVS Report post Posted August 12, 2002 The crowd's giving Raven huge heat. Good to see....now if only Vince would push him.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 12, 2002 Bwahahahahahahahaha, Raven is so much more over as a heel than Brock that it isn't even funny. :D
Guest Downhome Report post Posted August 12, 2002 We need a Flock, and we need it now.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted August 12, 2002 I am still not sure what I think of Johnny the Bull. Some weeks, he is pretty entertaining, others rather boring. Sure, I want to care about him wrestling, but it is like I just cannot.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted August 12, 2002 Isn't it funny that people like D-Lo and Raven are on Heat and are over....yet people like Brock, Faarooq, Bradshaw, Tommy Dreamer, & Mark Henry are on our TV every week who aren't over? Weird.
Guest BifEverchad Report post Posted August 12, 2002 We need a Flock, and we need it now. TESTIFY! I've been saying that for months, but for God sake don't tell Mach7

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 12, 2002 its pretty bad when you consider I saw 3 of the 4 the matches on Monday and just watched them a 2nd time..
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted August 12, 2002 Yeah. Heat was okay, nothing special. Better than Raw anyway, unfortunately.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted August 12, 2002 So I'm watching this Street Racing thing. If these guys where smart, they would quit the street racing shit and go into pro racing where they won't get in trouble, it will be a lot more safe, and they'll make a hell of alot more money. It seems like these people are so into it....why don't they do it professional? Whatever...not my fault when they crash and die.

By the way... ...how sad is it that our Heat thread got almost more repliesin one hour than the SD thread got in over two?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 12, 2002 it is very odd that this thread had almost as many replies to it as the Smackdown thread had..
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted August 12, 2002 That is pretty sad. It seems like almost no one posted in the Smackdown thread this week. Sheesh. I wonder what happened, it is not like Smackdown was that terrible or anything.

Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted August 12, 2002 Raven's Flock Raven (the man) Saturn (form a team with Kanyon when he comes back) Kanyon (has the right look for the Flock, won't get pushed much farther than this) Dreamer (drop the Tommy part, so everyone has a one word name. He's not doing anything better than this) Perfection...

Guest jester Report post Posted August 12, 2002 I like how D'lo was salivating at the prospect of seeing the HHH/HBK footage and Coach had to "calm" him down. I'm surprised Vince didn't come on afterwards and address the audience and say "See? Now that's how you're supposed to react."
