Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I hope not. I hate review shows. I would much rather see good lower midcard action than highlights of Triple H's latest interview that I already saw, and was bored out of skull by.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 No La Parka, although that would be cool. Everyone is a mark for La Parka..
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Am I the only one that now hates Spike Dudley with a passion? Not just a mild dislike, but a "I wish he'd go away forever and never return" feeling.
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 There's nothing wrong with that, in my eyes. If Excess had been an hour of wrestling mixed with an hour of reviews, I'd've definitely watched it more. - Mike Van Siclen. Yeah....but these are 60 minute shows...not 2 hours. Take out commercials, you've got about 45 minutes of just wrestling and review. They should just try to get a 1 hour time slot on TNN/MTV/whatever and do 30 minute review for SD and 30 minute for Raw and let Velocity and Heat be 1 hour wrestling shows and don't take time boring us with footage I've already seen on Monday. IMO, if you miss Raw or SD, that's your fault. I personally think there should be no review show and if you want to see what happened last week but you didn't watch...tough shit.
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Why are they showing matches now on Velocity and Heat? Do they wrestle....then just review? Eh...not a good sign. What are you talking about? I kinda rushed that post....but if you noticed on Velocity last night, they showed most of the 6 man and Brock/Hogan. Now they are doing it on Heat too. It's like the have Velocity/Heat matches 1/2 of the show, then just review. I'm just afraid Heat/Velocity is slowly turning into review shows. Ummm, I remember them always doing it like this for the most part, call me crazy I guess. I haven't watched Heat/Velocity for a good month and they didn't do this last time I watched....but whatever.
Guest Valcourt Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I don't mind Spke to much... I enjoy a crazy bump now and then, which is what he is good for. But if he loses to Steven Richards I will LOVE him. HAHA!
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Raw in Seattle? I smell Wrestlemania location announcement tommorow night.
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Question of the moment: Would you mind if they replaced the Piledriver, other neck moves, ban with a Superkick, Spinebuster ban?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Hmm. Who weighs more soaking wet? Spike Dudley or Shannon Moore? lol.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Yes! The Triple H-Shawn Michaels interview! I needed a cure for insomnia anyway.
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Question of the moment: Would you mind if they replaced the Piledriver, other neck moves, ban with a Superkick, Spinebuster ban? I was with you until you got "Ban with a superkick"...confused. LMAO! We get to see the ENTIRE story of HBK/HHH! *gets ready to change channel after Spike/Steven*
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Hell yes Steven, bust that head open!
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 I like the superkick, but I wish they would BAN THE HELL out of Spinebusters. Give me a piledriver and a vicious powerbomb and I'm a happy MVS. - Mike Van Siclen. Foo'
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 pay attention!! get the chair quote relevance now?
Guest Cubbie78 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 "Question of the moment: Would you mind if they replaced the Piledriver, other neck moves, ban with a Superkick, Spinebuster ban? " Nope, would love it as a matter of fact....Always thought Chris Adams from World Class had the best superkick, and shit, that was 15 years ago...its just pointless these days
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Good LORD what a chair shot. Oh ok, *changes channel*
Guest Valcourt Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 OHHHHHH!!!!! See! THats why I love Spike, he takes thos shots! GO STEVEN!!! Ok, this could be coool. Crazy Stevie and his friendly chair. Well, it would hurt more than an "HEAD" shot...
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Wait, does Steven love the chair now?
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Nope, would love it as a matter of fact....Always thought Chris Adams from World Class had the best superkick, and shit, that was 15 years ago...its just pointless these days I'm tired of almost everyone doing a type of superkick and spinebuster, it's just horrible now.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 RAW is in Norfolk? Thats RIGHT down the road from me (over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, about 4 hours or so from here) Hmm...RAW in Baltimore, RAW in Norfolk..what is the WWE trying to do, torment me?

Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Brock/Rock training = Me caring even less for their match.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 i think they said next monday, the last RAW before Summerslam..
Guest HartFan86 Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Brock/Rock training = Me caring even less for their match. I guess I'm the only one who enjoys those promos...
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 After this crap from RAW, I wouldn't care if I never saw HBK or HHH ever again, for the rest of my lift.
Guest BifEverchad Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 This HHH/HBK promo is better than Monday. The editing rules!
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 let Velocity and Heat be 1 hour wrestling shows and don't take time boring us with footage I've already seen on Monday. I totally agree. Unfortunately, I seriously am beginning to believe that the WWF thinks that no one watches their shows, and just collectively tune out every time an *important* angle is occuring. It is like, when they have a "Moments Ago..." segment, even though everyone just saw it 2 minutes ago. What's the point? Does the WWF actually believe that everyone watching took one huge, collective piss break because the segment was *that* boring. And if the segment was so boring that no one watched, what's the point in showing it again? *sigh* I hate WWE logic.
Guest Downhome Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Brock/Rock training = Me caring even less for their match. I guess I'm the only one who enjoys those promos... If we had any other buildup for it, I would like them. However, without any other reason to care for the match, other than it being Brock/Rock, it just makes me hate it that much more.
Guest Valcourt Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Ok, when ever they edit together a promo like that, it makes it seem like it is worth something. I like still having the mark in me. haha! Great video package.
