Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted August 13, 2002 Report Posted August 13, 2002 SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z - Xero and Danny Williams beat Z and Magnifico in a tag match on Smarkdown. Z will try to get some singles retribution this Friday. Word Limit: 3000 words Send to: Suicide King -Is Z missing, or something? If not, him. SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson - Fallout isn’t pleased that he lost his ICTV title to the leader of the Magnificent 7 on Smarkdown, and will be looking to shed some M7 blood on Storm. Word Limit: 3500 words Send to: HVilleThugg -*wince* Sorry, TNT. SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams - Magnifico has followed Z’s lead and challenged one of the men who defeated him in tag team action on Smarkdown. Word Limit: 4000 words Send to: Suicide King -Hopefully I can bounce back after a week off... TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth - Perfect Bo recently made his return to the SWF and will team with fellow Creative Control member Sacred to take on the strained alliance of Edwin and Thoth. SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent - Strangler has been messing with Erek lately, to the point where he won’t even be able to wrestle this Friday. HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes - As a fellow female and Jay Dawg hater, I can understand why Annie wants to kick his greasy ass. She’ll win the hardcore title soon enough, but she’ll get to soften him up on Storm! Match Description – The good guys (Annie and Tod) don’t have to tag in and can double team JD as much as they want! Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: Suicide King -Hahah, JD sucks. HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum - Ash suspects Frost was behind him being hit with a car. Now, just giving Ash a normal match against Frost wouldn’t be fair now, would it? The first one to score a pinfall, submission or knockout wins the match. Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: HVilleThugg -I dunno whose match, but it'd make sense for Ash to go over here. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete - Longdogger Pete gets a much-deserved shot at both that jackass Chris Wilson and the ICTV title on Storm! Go get him Pete…you can do it! Word Limit: 6000 words Send to: BA_Baracus -Wilson...
Guest Kibagami Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Storm predictions...the new and improved "I HAVE CABLE ACCESS IN MY ROOM AT LONG, LONG LAST!" Edition. Boo-yah, how you like me now? SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z - Xero and Danny Williams beat Z and Magnifico in a tag match on Smarkdown. Z will try to get some singles retribution this Friday. Word Limit: 3000 words Send to: Suicide King Z owned me, so he BETTER own Xero. Yes, he better. SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson - Fallout isn’t pleased that he lost his ICTV title to the leader of the Magnificent 7 on Smarkdown, and will be looking to shed some M7 blood on Storm. Word Limit: 3500 words Send to: HVilleThugg Fallout is easily one of the best in-ring technicans in the fed. He's also in the Clan, and he's also VERY pissed about losing that title. Mr. Personality wins soundly. SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams - Magnifico has followed Z’s lead and challenged one of the men who defeated him in tag team action on Smarkdown. Word Limit: 4000 words Send to: Suicide King I mark so hard for the COMPLETELY LEGAL Mexican immigrant, it isn't even funny. All due respect to Deathwish, whose Puro-snobness is opening my eyes to the whomp-ass Battlarts owning-ness that is Minoru Tanaka, but Lucharesu Power wins the day. TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth - Perfect Bo recently made his return to the SWF and will team with fellow Creative Control member Sacred to take on the strained alliance of Edwin and Thoth. Will Edwin and Thoth be able to stay on the same page? Are Sacred and Bo still weighed down by ring rust? We’ll find out this Friday! Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: HVilleThugg Edwin and Thoth are the best of the best, and Bo still has the slightest bit of ring rust from what I read on Smarkdown, Plus, THOTHPHISTO! is REALLY fun to say, so the Clanival gets the duke. SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent - Strangler has been messing with Erek lately, to the point where he won’t even be able to wrestle this Friday. People are making a bit fuss about Silent, so let’s see just how nasty he can be... Word Limit: 4000 words Send to: BA_Baracus To be honest, my little spat with Wilson, two losses to the Carnies, and a lot of promoing with Edwin Mac has humbled me. A little bit. Strangler's pissed and wants to win a singles match, and with only 4k to write with, I'm a little less than supremely confident. From here on out, I'm not predicting my own matches. Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: Suicide King Annie wants to beat JD in the WORST way, but trust me, Annie, you better bust your ass if you want to win. I think she's got the drive for it, though, and I see her winning this match with a little help from Tod deKindes. HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum - Ash suspects Frost was behind him being hit with a car. Now, just giving Ash a normal match against Frost wouldn’t be fair now, would it? I mean poor Ash got hit by a damn car after all! Match Description – Frost will have his hands secured behind his back with Mistress Sarah brand handcuffs (29.95, available wherever S&M supplies are sold). The first one to score a pinfall, submission or knockout wins the match. Word Limit: 4500 words Send to: HVilleThugg As the lucharesu pointed out, Ash should go over here...but I don't think it'll be his match that does it. Frost to either look like a monster and win despite himself, or job this match for the good of the XF9/M7 conflict that's a-brewing. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete - Longdogger Pete gets a much-deserved shot at both that jackass Chris Wilson and the ICTV title on Storm! Go get him Pete…you can do it! Word Limit: 6000 words Send to: BA_Baracus While I know for a fact that Wilson has the talent to win this match, I don't think it makes much sense from a booking perspective for him to go over here. I think LDP comes away with a much-deserved title win here, one way or the other.
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z If Z writes... Z jobs his match. SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson TNT to be made a personal bitch. SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams Mag! TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth Sacbo! SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent Well... I lost to Silent... *kills self* ok back again... yeah, Silent should probably get the duke... seeing as Strangler can't win a match... that and he sucks. HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes Damn these penis nazis. I'll put the hurt anyway. Stubby, fire Sarah! HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum Frost is too talented. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete Well... something says Breggan will be involved... I think Wilson retains though.
Guest midnight_burn Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Predictions of TOTAL DEVASTATION!!! These predictions are guarenteed to be correct, so if i didn't predict you, you WILL lose, because i'm always right. SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z -> Xero SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -> Fallout SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams -> El Luchadore Magnifico TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth -> Sacred/Bo SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent -> The Boston Strangler HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes -> Jay Dawg HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum -> Frost ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete -> Chris Wilson
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Because I'm too tired to finish Smarkdown, but too awake to not do something... SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z -Xero got the tag win...but Z wants vengeance! And he's motivated, dag nabbit! The one-letter-wonder starts the night off with some solid Carnie pride. SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -Former ICTV vs. current tag champ...a tough call, but I think Fallout has the edge here. His more to-the-point, no-nonsense style, will be better-suited to a 3500 word match. TNT, however, likes to make Gay Riley jokes, even though that's SO 2001. SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams -Mag is back, and with a vengeance. Danny's on a roll, but Mag is on a frickin' hoagie 24/7, and I can't go against my favorite Carnival immigrant. Should be a tight technical match whichever way we slice it. TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth -This mid-show tag match slot is becoming my buddy. No clue, but barring time-zone troubles, this one should be pretty even. Here's hoping. SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent -Ash pulled the somewhat-upset over Stranglepants on Smarkdown, and Silent notched the win over JD...somehow, this works out to a complex math equations that simplifies to Silent = RATINGS. HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes -Sheizer! JD is in trubba trubba. Tod and LDP are the only XF9ers JD hasn't dismantled over the past two weeks...but Frost beat Tod, and JD beat Frost...oh, I don't know. The rule with handicap matches, though, is to never bet against the dominant team. Hence: our fightinest hardcore champ. HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum -High-profile handcuffs! Frost is in a dilly of a pickle here, and unless he figures out a way to break out of the cuffs, there's no conceivable way he can win this. Then again, he's 6'7" and 300 pounds, and they ARE only 29.95, after all, so maybe he can swing it. Frost is on too much of a roll lately after some nice tag forays, notably championizing, so I pick him. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete -ICTV Title main event = very cool. On paper, logical booking could swing this either way...honestly, I think Wilson will win this one--aside from last Storm, he hasn't hit a snag in weeks. What he'll do with the belt is anyone's guess. Pete HAS been jonesing for this shot, though, and now that it's for the belt, that's all the more motivation. I could easily see LDP pulling the U-P-SET and really, REALLY establishing XF9 after this solid few weeks of development. This is a big match, and a damn fine main event the more I think about it.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 I should be working on my match, but I'll do this instead. SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z -Xero seems to be on a resurgance while Z seems to be back and forth. He wrote a winning match against Silent, but booked himself to lose. I would like to see what a motivated Xero can do. Comeback of the year? WINNER: XERO SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -Let's see, I don't know Fallout from a hole in the ground and TNT is my tag team partner with whom I've just won the titles with. WINNER: TNT SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams -A very interesting clash of styles here with ELM the Mexican high flyer and Deathwish wrestling the Japanese heavyweight style. It's going to go down on who can get the characters to mesh best in the ring and Danny's pure match writing skill is second to none. WINNER: WILLIAMS TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth -Very unique match up that makes you go "hmm..." Just weighing out the basics of match writing and storytelling, I've much more impressed with Edwin and Thoth overall to date. WINNER: EDWIN AND THOTH SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent -If Silent is derserving of his push, he has to win here. Since TBS has been slumping, that's not out of the question. However, a straight up singles match with a character like Silent's is something I believe TBS can get himself up for. Like I usually say with Z, it comes down to whoever can write the Silent character better with its unique elements against a monster like TBS. I do it rarely, but I'm hedging the bets here. PUSH HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes -Now we get into the fun part of the card. Annie has had it in for JD for sometime, but I think the addition of Tod might distract her more than anything else and I have my doubts on how well the two are going to work together. A win in a match like this for Annie and Tod does nothing for them. Two of them beat up one guy, big whoop. So, logical booking says JD scroes the win with fierce weapon shots and setus up a bigger blow off later. WINNER: JD HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum -Same as above, a win against a guy handcuffed does nothing for Ash. Although I can't see how to take the win here legitimately. Although I have a gameplan. Whether I'm going to go the comedy route, or old school NWA kicking your ass bloody route I will leave up to you to decide. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete -Wilson is a transitional champion to Pete? I could buy that. Logical booking says Edwin causes the loss, much like Wilson caused the loss on Smarkdown, in order to build to a ppv blowoff for the World title. If I ruined your ending guys, sorry it was kind of there to be seen. If I just gave you an idea, your welcome. WINNER: LDP
Guest realitycheck Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 Z proudly presents the "I haven't posted in almost a week" Storm predictions! SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z -Note to those who are still wondering or care: I DID write for Smarkdown. And I feel like I let ELM down by losing without him even present. Oi, now I'm going to have to try and make it up to you. Anyway, that said, I rarely predict my matches, but this one will probably come down to who crams more into 3000 words. Grr-bah @ word limits like that. SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson -TNT feels like he's totally and 100% fucked here, which by history, means he's going to pull out the duke. Again, the crummy word limit is a real factor here, and I agree with Edwin. If TNT doesn't write 853.7 words of lame-ass jokes, he's got as good a shot as anyone. 'Course, this IS Fallout, and that's not saying much. SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams -Danny may be an emerging ring general, but ELM is ELM and a former world champion and four-time LHW champ and he wins and stuff. I suppose Danny could win if his finish isn't another sleeper hold... TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth -Like the turncoat I am, I'm not rooting for my leader. Mua' hahahahaha! Okay, so I like Sacred and I want him and Bo to win, sue me. SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent -I believe that TBS isn't going to be able to write for this... HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes -I want Annie and Tod to win, because I'm still bitter about losing to JD. Huh...? ...whadda ya' mean it was a 'no-show'?! That's inconsequential! I'm bitter regardless! HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum -The more I think about it, the more I think Frost would be right to go the comedy route. And when Frost decides to write something funny, BE AFRIAD. Or soemthing. I want the big lug to win, just because I'm still waiting for us to throw-down in that best-of-seven stupid-ass comedy matches. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete -Whee! It's, like, someone new main eventing a show! My sentimental pick goes with Pete, my logical decision is with Wilson. And from a storyline perspective, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson job a title. I mean, he's done it before. Even though this IS the ICTV... Wow, those must be my most indecisive predictions EVER! Woo @ reserving the right to flip-flop my opinion. -Z Behold, the horror of writing something in the morning.
Guest Coffin Surfer Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z My part time partner Xero has been showing alot of heart lately, but Z is awesome when he does write. winner: Z SINGLES MATCH Fallout vs. “TNT” Taylor Nicholas Thompson TNT has always been the perfect mix of great wrestling, and funny commentary. winner: TNT SINGLES MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico vs. Danny Williams I'am getting bad vibes from this one, much like the Thoth match. ELMS has been around for so long, and is so respected, that If I was to write 6/3/94 I would still lose. winner: ELMS TAG MATCH Sacred & Perfect Bo vs. Edwin MacPhisto & Thoth Two of the biggest players in the league vs. two returnies. winner: Edwin/Thoth SINGLES MATCH The Boston Strangler vs. Silent Strangler has the experience. winner: Silent HANDICAP MATCH Jay Dawg vs. Annie Eclectic & Tod deKindes Tod is great, and Annie is due a win. winner: Tod/Annie HANDCUFF MATCH Frost vs. Ash Ketchum This is one of the shittiest gimmick matches I've ever seen. But Frost has the humor and the style to pull it off. winner: Frost ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete I don't see the #1 heel losing the title this soon. winner: Wilson
Guest Spark144 Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 SINGLES MATCH Xero vs. Z - Xero and Danny Williams beat Z and Magnifico in a tag match on Smarkdown. Z will try to get some singles retribution this Friday. -Z. I feel like I should write something here because simply writing "Z" after pasting the card sort of makes this seem like a pointless post. ICTV TITLE MATCH Chris Wilson © vs. Longdogger Pete - Longdogger Pete gets a much-deserved shot at both that jackass Chris Wilson and the ICTV title on Storm! Go get him Pete…you can do it! -Wilson.
