I think Lesnar has the making of a good champ, Sure he has been given the belt way to early, but if he had been given it in a few more months time when he has been able to develop his character, i think he could have been a good champ.

 

I would also rather see Lesnar hold the belt for 6 months that have it go to 3 different other guys in the same time span.

 

I think we need to give brock a chance as champ before writting him completely off. You never know, when he has the company on his shoulders as champ, he may come good!

No matter who the champion is...HHH is pushed as the top guy.

 

This is why no one can really succeed as champion.

Jericho for the month before HHH returned...then HHH became the focus.

 

Undertaker...and HHH was injured and off TV for most of it.

 

It's not a coincidence that champions can't suceed with him around.

I could point out also that the last title reign that was at all memorable was Austin's long reign (minus 2 weeks for Angle) that occured when HHH was out for almost the entire time.

bps, you're right. When Lesnar wins the belt, it'll be like Jericho, defending the belt in the opening match against someone like Planet Stasiak, who will only lose because of Heyman's interference.

 

Brock will probably have the belt for either one night and HHHotshot the belt, or a month, or until Wrestlemania. Brace thyselves, this could be ugly.

Title reigns do not seem to be the WWF's forte recently.

 

And the joke about how they'd bring respect to the WCW belt (I remember a gag about how the Dog from Married With Children was a former WCW Champ) was a big joke as well. Sorry, but I do not buy The Rock or Kurt Angle as WCW Champions and I probably never will accept them as such.

 

Triple H.. Perhaps. Steve Austin, sure. But they had to put it on two guys who have no past with the old company.

Actually, the Rock isn't doing too bad for just the or so weeks that he's been champ. It's too bad it has to end so soon.

 

WWE is going to know real quick whether Brock is going to be better as champ, as opposed to chasing.

Fact 1: He missed an entire week of TV in his short reign

 

Fact 2: He has yet to defend the title.

 

I don't know how that makes a good reign. At least while Jericho was cheating to beat Rikishi and Maven, he was defending the title.

Brock has to have a lengthy title run. If he's the same character he is now, at all, Brock will be NOTHING after he loses the belt.

 

I do think HHH will win the title from Brock at Survivor Series, and give him his first loss... because as you know, after 3 years of pushing HHH as God, he still needs more help.

 

HHH will always be the center of attention until the day he retires. Face it, with Rock & Austin gone, he's gonna be the guy, deal with it or stop watching.

Another thing, I heard that Rock isn't slated to head off to film Helldorado until 9/20. If the next ppv is before that, couldn't Rock possibly retain via schmooz? (although that would totally deflate the purpose of having something special such as a title change on ppv when you give it away on free tv shortly after)

Now a question for you. Do you think that if HBK goes over HHH, that it is for sure that Brock is going over Rock, and vice versa? I mean, WWE wouldn't put 2 heels over in their 2 biggest matches of the night? Or would they?

I've been saying that same thing.

 

I really think HHH is going to lose because he can look like a team player for doing the job...but doesn't have to elavate anyone in the process.

 

He'll put over his friends...remember...if he wasn't hurt...this match would be HHH vs. Nash.

True, but HHH doesn't job in PPV's. He is a team player for jobbing to D'Von, Test, Brooklyn Brawler a couple times each year on Smackdown.

I think HBK fits that qualification nicely.

 

If it was HHH vs. a real wrestler...HHH would win the blowoff like always.

 

But it's not. I really think HHH will do the job for all the wrong reasons.

The way the story has been set up I think Michaels probably has to win. It doesn't make much sense otherwise. I mean, isn't it sorta odd to have HHH talk about how much Shawn sucks and is weak now....then goes out and destroys him?

But, if Shawn's not gonna wrestle anymore... it doesn't help either of them if HBK wins. That would also give the insinuation that HBK was always the better wrestler. I don't think Trips would like that.

actually lose at Summerslam? Isn't it a little too obvious to have

him win. He might still win The Title but not at Summerslam.

Anyway...

No matter who has The Belt after Summerslam,The Rock or

Brock Lesnar, they still have to deposit it at The Bank Of HHH.

Let's all face facts that Lesnar is going to win the WWE Undisputed Title at SummerSlam. I mean, it would be stupid on the WWE's part to have Lesnar lose after receiving this monster push. The WWE is just too predictable nowadays. Even my friend, who isn't a big wrestling fan, knows that Lesnar is going to win the WWE Undisputed Title at SummerSlam. Everyone knows that by now.
