I've actually been to Australia, and I can drop some knowledge.

 

Boomerangs have a bit of a learning curve. Our tour group went to one of those Aboroganies (I know I fucked the spelling up hardcore, someone wanna correct me?) area or something, I don't remember exactly, where we were allowed to throw one, after a few warmups. Well, after about three seconds after I threw one, the guide said, "You might want to duck." I do, and the boomerang comes back a foot to my right, six feet off the ground. No lie. Of course, I tried it again and the fucker didn't even change direction, so we'll call that first throw a fluke.

 

As for Koalas, I've goten to hold one, and those fuckers have sharp claws! It got ahold of my shirt and tried to climb it, and its claws easily went through the shirt and poked me in the chest. Of course, it's stabbing me while everyone wants "just one more picture." Damn thing.

 

Of course, I wouldn't pass up the memories, but I'm wearing armor the next time I hold a koala.
