Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Don't know if anybody posted this already. On the last Byte This (Yeah, I watch it. So what?) they were talking about the stuff that happened after last week's RAW with the HHHaroonie and the rib on the Undertaker. Kevin Kelly (yes, he's still alive) said that WWE is planning to release a home video with the best off-camera stuff from their shows (maybe even house show material?). Will you buy it? For me it's a must-buy. Oh, and they'll probably show footage from last week's After-RAW stuff this week on Byte This.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Unless there's something really compelling as a DVD extra, I'll just rent the thing. I didn't know this was even a regular occurance. We got a Rock vs Brock showdown that went nowhere (well, Brock got the Rock Bottom) which would imply that they're at least vaguely booking a couple months into the future. I figured WWE was still booking everything daily since the WCW purchase.
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 They need to show when D-X incited a riot in Providence after the cameras cut off. I was there live.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 That would be breaking a lot of kayfabe, but hey, they do it a lot in front of a bunch of people anyways, so who cares?
Guest The Superstar Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Yeah, they have it on the Stone Cold "What?" video. It's classic. SC: "What's your name?" Fan: "David!" SC: "What do you do?" David: "I drive a truck!" SC: "If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a sorry ass Truck driver!" of course, that was when he was a heel.

The funniest one was when he did it to his brother (Who was at ringside on Sept 11th SD) and his brother (when saying his name) almost said "Williams" as his last name, but Austin pulled the mic away just in time which caused his brother to laugh is ass off. Great stuff. I'd definately buy it on DVD. It would be very entertaining. Also, what was that DX riot you were talking about Nevermortal? I've never heard about that before.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Wait, those things you said austin did were actually on the DVD? There is a section of backstage or off camera stuff?
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Also, what was that DX riot you were talking about Nevermortal? I've never heard about that before. It was October '99 where the D-X reunion happened. Rock/Stone Cold fought the Outlaws for the title, and then X-Pac & HHH ran in to do a beatdown and reform D-X. They kicked the shit out of Rock/Stone Cold, and then began to play to the crowd, doing the "Suck It" gestures and whatnot. Suddenly, HHH & Mr. Ass go into the crowd (!) and jaw with fans. Like an entire section consumes them as Jim Dotson begins to push fans out of the way before anyone gets hurt. Then to make it worse, Road Dogg gets on the mic and says "Providence Rhode Island is just a punch of goddamned pussies!" or something along those lines. Suddenly, the crowd starts launching shit at him, and they continue to jaw with the fans. Finally, they exit up the ramp where Vince (!) comes out, breaking kayfabe, yelling at them, and physically pulling them up the ramp. Then after that happens, like 3 fans hit the ring and security destroys them. Quite scary. We didn't even get a "Thank you for coming", everyone involved just got the fuck out of there.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 Wait, those things you said austin did were actually on the DVD? There is a section of backstage or off camera stuff? There's a whole section on what Austin does to entertain the fans when the show ends, like talk with them on the microphone, torment the cameraman, or just drink beer with Hebner.
Guest pochorenella Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 There's a whole section on what Austin does to entertain the fans when the show ends, like talk with them on the microphone, torment the cameraman, or just drink beer with Hebner. That was some sweet, sweet stuff on Austin's "What!?" video, and one of the reasons I'm considering getting it also on DVD (I already own the video). And since I'm one of the people who asked for it on a previous thread, then yes, I'll buy it when it comes out. And I hope more great stuff comes with it, like in Austin's video.
Guest deadbeater Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 If they do that then it will be a guarantee that they will show the aftermath of the Montreal screwjob, in which Bret destroyed the entire set and slapped Vince in the face hard.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 It's a great concept for a DVD, but it sounds like a rental for me.
Chunk Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 id buy that for sure. i hope if it comes out, it comes out in the uk aswell! ChUnK!
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I hope it's not going to be a "ShopZone Exclusive" like a few recent ones. All that does is drive down sales.
Guest cartman Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 They need to show when D-X incited a riot in Providence after the cameras cut off. I was there live. I was there too! It was my first WWF live event and it was amazing! I totally marked out when DX reformed and then the riot...priceless my friend.
Guest Brian Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 Hopefully they throw some awesome house show matches on there.
Guest deadbeater Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 DX also was in a house show in Little Rock in which they caused the entire audience to riot just by cutting a promo saying that there will be no match.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 they;ll show HHH giving a speech ni a priduction meeting
Guest bob_barron Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 Hopefully they throw some awesome house show matches on there. Yea like the RVD v. Eddy ladder match
