Guest Dangerous A Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 What about WM III having an attendance of 93,173 when the actual number was actually around 78,000.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted August 19, 2002 Report Posted August 19, 2002 But the WWF(E) said so, therefore it must be true!!!!
Guest Passenger Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 When Owen died i remember goin into school the next day and everyone refused to believe he was dead, i was the only one stupid enought to stay up till 4 in the morning watching it so no1 had seen it. Shoulda heard the crap they were comin out with...'Undertaker will resurrect him next week on raw'...'He'll come out from under the ring next week u watch'...i was quite annoyed about it all in the end...Needless to say i cut the article out from that days newspaper and took it with me to school for the rest of the week.
Guest Austin3164life Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I always used to get the ever-famous "1st Warrior died of steroids". Other than that, I've once heard someone tell me that Jim Ross used to be a wrestler in the 80's. I can imagine it now, Jim "The Hoss" Ross.
Guest Army Eye Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 Actually wasn't it Cain the Undertaker.......I doubt they spelled it Kane. It was always Kane. Why would you doubt that?
Guest Rock Candy Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I've heard the same Ultimate Warrior rumor a million times, and never believed it. How about the people in the mainstream press who are convinced that Hulk Hogan has been in the WWF/WWE continuously since 1984? -Ben
Guest lomasmoney Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 i had this kid who's locker was next to mine in school tell me that sting and the ultimate warrior were the same person. This happened to be around the warrior's WCW run. I stated that they couldnt be the same guy since 1. They were tag partners early in their career 2. They had wrestled in different arenas on the same night on PPV/TV 3. Hell they were on tv together on nitro So the kid proceeds to give me the whole well there's been like 23 Ultimate Warriors deal, so i just get fed up and go talk to a flock of hot chicks
Guest razazteca Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 does any of this Ultimate Warrior talk have anything to do with the Dingo Warrior or the Simpson brothers from WCCW? in a chatroom someone told me that Mick Foley stalked ICP because of the Stranglemania tapes, also when Shaggy or the other clown complained about chair shots the wrestlers would stiff him.
Guest razazteca Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 all students from Warrior University must wear the Warrior face paint.
Guest TheBlurricane Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I figured it would have been Cain cause that's how Cain from the Bible is spelled (the original Cain) and Kane the wrestler wasn't around when Undertaker was called Cain/Kane.
Guest papacita Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I figured it would have been Cain cause that's how Cain from the Bible is spelled (the original Cain) and Kane the wrestler wasn't around when Undertaker was called Cain/Kane. It was Kane. I remember reading it in an old PWI from early 1991 . Anyway, my bro thinks there have been different Takers, a few people I know think there have been about 18 Warriors, the 1st dying of steroids, the other one in a car crash...and the others dying however. Then there are two that I accidentally started around my way that people take as fact for some reason. I told my friend that Beefcake's face was crushed when he was parasailing and ran into a wall. I wasn't sure of exactly what happened at the time, but since I'm a "wrestling freak" he believed me. Also, when Berserker stopped showing up on TV, I said "maybe he's dead", and now everyone swears he died of a heart attack.
Guest Downhome Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I don't know if it was before or after Survivor Series '90, but right around the time he debuted, he was called Kane the Undertaker. That IS a fact. When exactly it was, I don't know The following are FACTS. He debuted as the mystery 4th man in Ted DiBiase's team at Survivor series 1990 (the one with the Gobbeldygooker). He was introduced by Ted, was accompanied by his manager Brother Love, was announced as being from Death Valley, and was announced as The Undertaker. This is not my memory playing tricks as I saw this tape less than 6 months ago. He may or may not have been Kane the Undertaker after, I don't know, but at his Debut, he was The Undertaker. I can confirm this to be true, as I'm watching that show as I type this.
Guest Kid Kablam Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I once heard that Steph was married to the Fink.
Guest Downhome Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 I love the great "that chair isn't real!" statement by, not so much marks, but non-fans. I can assure you, those chairs, yeah, they are real. :D
Guest red_file Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 so i just get fed up and go talk to a flock of hot chicks Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a winner.
Guest RepoMan Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 so i just get fed up and go talk to a flock of hot chicks Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a winner. Ouch!!!!!!!! One of the weirdest things I've even herd was that wrestling was fake but the matches were not predetermined
Guest MrSCARY Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 The Warrior ate himself. I'm always amazed that people believe that.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 20, 2002 Report Posted August 20, 2002 How about the people who believed that The Undertaker was really dead back in 1990-1991? That's a credit to Calloway's performance.
