I know that Pharrell is a member and is in nearly every rap song on BET and MTV but exactly how many members are in The Neptunes? How does NERD and Clipse fit into the group? Is the Neptunes just 2 people or 4 people?

However many it is, I'm getting sick and damn tired of seeing the light-skinned Black one in every fuckin' video these days. You can tell he's trying to make himself a celebrity, because he produces parts of the song that allow him to get on screen for the video.

Well, Pharrell is the vocal one. He is on alot of songs because he helps write them, makes the beats, ect. ect. ect. Neptunes been around since 1997 and it wasn't until last year that they became the real IN thing. But they been like that for the longest doing this. Its just now that people look for him.

MC Shay is not really considered part of the group, but more of a guest to it. He contributes some vocals on their album "In Search Of", but that's about it.

I know they've been around for awhile. I remember Noreaga giving them shoutouts on N.O.R.E. and stuff. But just this year I noticed that in addition to the N.E.R.D. project, Pharrell has been in everyone else's videos whereas he was seemingly content with just being a producer before.
