Yet Angle, people are still calling for Brock to drop the title to Angle this year. He must be doing something right.

His talent shines through the shit. Angle hasn't even had a good feud this year

 

January: Nothing

February: Triple H, Just because. Turns into a title shot

March: Kane, for reasons not explained

April: edge, Because Edge called Angle a dork

May: Edge, over a T SHIRT

June: Hogan, over a wig

July: Thrown into taker/Rock feud

August: rey, because Rey's short.

 

Test/Kane was an alright match, it wasn't great of anything but it was still alright for both guys involved. Sure Angle has been trodden on all year, but he has also made a few stars of the future careers and also has probably taught some younger superstars how to have a good match etc..

It's so funny because it's true. I didn't even think about half of this stuff. The "Wig" and "Dork" fueds, classic!

Yep, that's all of them, and the only time I can remember all 8 on the main show in the same week.

 

Is the cruiser division finally getting recognition in WWE? Well, we obviously don't have the PPV cruiser match this month, but they're all on SD!

Anglesault, I agree that Angle has been misused and been in dreadful fueds, but seriously it's not his fault, or the fault of his opponents, the writers come up with the fueds

That's what they did with the most over heel they've had for the past full year...

 

let's see how much better they did with the guy who's gotten the most face heat for the past full year:

February: vs. Goldust...for reasons neither explained nor followed up on

March: Regal...because people couldn't take Edge/Regal IV

April: Eddy Guerrero (over a frog splash)

May: Eddy (over a title...HORRAY!!! got one right)

June: Brock (um...cause he's the next big thing?)

July: Brock (yawn)

August: Benoit...and they aren't on the same show...so there really is no feud.

 

 

 

And yet they remain over.

 

Screw title shots, and main events...and give these guys a friggin cookie.

 

They're more over than any of the things that they have been pushing in their place (Brock as heel...Edge as face)

Edge v. Booker T (over SHAMPOO!)

Benoit v. Angle (month 3 was over the medals in Benoit's tights)

The old rap v. Country feud in WCW.

The nWo Wolfpac v. nWo Hollywood feud... enough said.

 

Those are just off the top of my head... over the past 4 years. And they all suck more now than they did when they happened.

That was from April 3, 2002. They fought on a Smackdown (Edge and Angle), and Anglesault thought the feud was over.

 

Well, they feuded for two more months, so he obviously wanted the blowoff two months before the feud was over, thus showing his dislike of the feud.

 

That's the backup he asked for, I guess.

Ugh... losing by count-out is probably the best result for Angle.

 

Angle loses cheaply tonight, which doesn't make him look weak at all, setting up a win over Rey at SummerSlam.

 

Angle's 11-16 record don't mean shit. Nobody remembers pointless Tag match results on Smackdown, the match people will remember is Angle making Hogan tap.

 

BTW, I do admit that Kane/Test at No Mercy wasn't their best match... but stop with this worst match ever shit, because it was far from that.

When was Global Warning? I'd love to get a tape of a Test/Angle match... they're my 2 favorite workers on the roster, and I don't recall any matches on TV between them.
