Guest CanadianChick Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Good points Testkick...MNF will definatly have an effect of ratings. Just like season premeires will have an effect on Smackdown (i.e Friends)
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 This short raise in the ratings will be gone in 3 weeks, so enjoy it while it lasts. Wow. That means you must be implying that Test will be quitting the WWE soon. HOT HOT OFF THE PRESSES TEST NEWZ OMG
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 That's it? That's all the increase that "THE BIGGEST MAIN EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF RAW" brings in?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 22, 2002 Report Posted August 22, 2002 I hope that Vince & Co. don't look at the rating and think that the actual show is what produced the rating. Why? Do you think Joe Six-Pack, the average guy watching Raw, is some big fanboy with Flair tapes lined up on the walls? Do you think he argues with his friends about whether Benoit or Eddie is the Greatest Current Active Wrestler In The Known Universe? Do you think he's some workrate freak who orgasms over psychology? I doubt it. If he was, Rikishi wouldn't be in the WWF still and Jeff Hardy wouldn't be getting a push. I think the decent shows before as well as the allure of the Rock/HHH match, a feud has headlined a number of PPVs in the past and even produced a good IronMan years ago, brought people in. That's what I meant. The past few shows were very good, along w/ the announced HHH/Rock match was the most likely factor for the increase. I was hoping that Vince didn't see the actual content of that one particular show (i.e. mud match, little wrestling) as the reason for the increase, because this one particular show was sub-par, to say the least.
