Did they lock Russo away in a closet or something? This isn't what I remember him for.

The last time I saw Tempest was week 5 on the outside of the ring for the Malice/Sabu ladder match.

The last time he competed was week 4 in a very good tag title match with Slash against Styles and Lynn

No shit...first hour...all wrestling.

Awesome show so far. The wrestling is off the page and the flow of the show is tremendous. It's not just the wrestling - the interview-type segments have been good too. Jarret didn't come out and ramble for an hour... he got straight to the point and the storyline then developed with Brian Lawler. I love how they moved into the Slash/Lawler match with Lawler getting cut off right before he was going to reveal what happened with Jarret. Awesome stuff so far.

So far -- no shit -- this is a contender for show of the year.

Lo Ki has the upperhand on the Maximos...REd gets in and hits his standing shooting star.

Red jumped off the top rope, onto Lo Ki's back while he was being held by a Maximo, then landed on the other Maximo and gave him a hurricanrana.

Then A Maximo held Red up while Ki launched himself off the ropes and kicked Red off of him.

Then they've done other stuff that I couldn't call while I was typing.

at the 7 minute mark, no one has been eliminated.

Lo Ki set Red up for the Ki Krusher...but instead launched him onto the Maximo's on the floor.

Lo Ki then went up top and hit a twisting moonsault onto the Maximos.

Sucks to be them.

All that...and he only gets a 2 count.

I can't even call half of these things that the SAT pull out.

Joel pinned Jose with the Overdrive at the 9 minute mark.

Down to 2.

Lo Ki litterally kicks the crap out of Joel...well...maybe not litteraly.

Red goes up and hits the Infrared on Joel and we're down to Red vs. Lo Ki at the 10:10 mark.

MAn...I love this stuff.

Lo Ki blocked the Code Red attempt and ran Red into the corner...that was vicious.

Ki signals for the Ki Krusher.

This is the third time he's had him up...he climbed the ropes to do it off the top...and it costs him as Red gets away and kicks him in the head.

Red tries to rana him off the top...but Ki reverses into a Krusher off the TOP ROPE for a win at the 12 minute mark.

Highlight reel material all the way.

What a freakin' promo from The Truth. This is what a promo should be not the crap that Rock pulls out every week.

Goldy interviews The Truth in the back about Monty Brown.

I love this guy. I'm not afraid to admit it.

Tale of the tape for Truth vs. Monty Brown.

They announce that next week April Hunter will face Bruce for the Miss TNA crown.

Well...that makes that a must order.

Monty Brown comes out so we'll be getting to this next.

Nice sign in front: "WWE Can't Handle The Truth."

Is it too late to shoot Monty Brown in the head? God, I hate that guy.

Killings should no-sell all of his offense and squash him like Taker swatting DDP just to make me feel better...

Maybe the April Hunter thing means that they will end this stupid storyline with Bruce.

BTW, who was that guy sitting next to her? He looked familiar.

Hey, he almost HBK-ed that pescado. Too funny.

April Hunter looks SOOO fuckable tonight. Nice to see she hasn't lost it.

Man... that table spot got NO heat whatsoever and the matches sucks balls to boot.

That's Slyk Wagner Brown. He's a mainstay in a lot of New England and East Coast indies, and he's a trainer at Killer Kowalski's.

As a worker, he's above average, nothing particularly special.

Gah... why is Don West allowed to breathe? At least Ferrera was somewhat listenable, West is like the worst parts of Tony Shiavone/Jerry Lawler/Jim Ross/Dusty Rhodes all in one.

Not giving Killings much to work with here, are they?

I actually thought that West was better than usual tonight.

Thanks for the info about Slyk Wagner, Shooter.

Tenay plays up the history of the NWA title.

Brown gets the better of Truth at first, and it gets him a slap to the face.

Brown is an impressive looking guy, and if he takes his training seriously...this guy could be very marketable...as he can use the mic good as well.

Shoulderblocks get a 2 count for Brown.

Truth uses his veteran wiles to make Brown jump out of the ring...then he dives over the top to take him out.

Truth is the thinking mans champion, I tell ya.

They brawl on the outside...and Truth wins that one too by throwing Browns head into the table.

They get on the table and Brown takes control.

He signals for the alpha bombon the table...but Truth sticks a thumb in his eye.

See...always thinking.

Belly to belly on the floor on to Truth...and it looks like he hit face first on the floor.

It lookes sick...but the Ref didn't really do anything after checking with him...so he may just be selling it really well.

Brown rolls him back in for two.

Truth looks out of it as he climbs to the top and hits a top rope legdrop.

Only gets 2...a very close 2.

I think Killings is dazed for real...he's out of it...but he carries on.

Spinning heel kick on Brown gets a 2.

Killings attempts a suplex...but its blocked twice, and Brown smaps Truth over instead.

Brown takes control and hits a powerslam...then a splash...gets 2.

Axe kick from Killings takes Brown down...but only gets a 2...another close one.

Brown reverses a slam...and sets Killings up for the Alpha Bomb but Killings gets away.

Killings tries to hit his finisher (a stunner) but gets reversed and winds back up in the alpha bomb position. Killings rolls out of it and rolls Brown up for the 3 at the 10 minute mark.

JJ runs in and attacks the ref and comes to blows with Killings, then LAwler comes in to attack JJ.

Lawler is going to hit JJ with a chair...but JJ pulls Truth in front of him so he eats chair and is out cold.

Goldy interviews Lynn...and Styles attacks...so the NO DQ match has begun.

MAn...Russo MUST be dead.

Lynn sets up a table on the outside.

Because he's ECW, remember.

Styles positions the table where he wants it...cause he wishes he was ECW.

Lynn tries a sunset flip power bomb through the table on the outside...but Styles blocks it...and Lynn knocks over the table...fearing it will be he that goes through it.

After Styles misses Lynn on the outside, Lynn tosses him in the ring and sets the table up again.

Styles takes a chair and lodges it between the top and middle rope.

Eventually...Styles gets catapulted into the chair by Lynn...wicked.

Only gets a 2 though.

Lynn drops the leg on Styles as he's caught between the ropes (the same way he beat the Elvises a few weeks ago to upstage AJ).

Lynn tries a tornado DDT to put AJ through the table...but AJ blocks that too...and sends Lynn down then hits him with one of those spectacular over the top rope moves he does...cause he's an indy guy.

double clothesline with both men falling on a chair in the middle of the ring.

They fight over the chair...and Lynn wins...rolls Styles up but he's still holding the chair...so he whacks Lynn in the head to break the count at 2.

Lynn ducks a chairshot...and hits a quasi Van Daminator on Styles.

The crowd reminds them of the table...cause they want their table spots dammit.

Lynn puts Styles on the top...and DDTs styles off the top rope...but he missed the chair. Still...a DDT off the top is a DDT off the top.

Crwod chants table again.

Styles comes back to knock Lynn off the top in another corner...and gets crotched by Lynn.

I'll tell ya...these 2 have been fighting over every spot in the ring.

Lynn rana's Styles off the top and he breaks the table to the crowds approval.

Lynn rolls him in...But...only gets 2.

AJ is a fighter...but the crowd still hates him.

Lynn sets up the chair again...but this time it backfires by way of a Styles clash on the chair at the 11:30 mark.

Ten minute Iron man match now.

Styles immediatly covers Lynn twice and gets 2 pins.

MAn is a genius.

Lynn hits a neckbreaker but only gets two.

I can't even describe how smart it was for AJ to pick up those two falls on Lynn after the Clash.

That's booking I can get behind.

Styles slaps a sleeper on Lynn.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

Styles may be the smartest man in the world at this point...as he keeps slapping wear down holds on Jerry...since he's up two falls already.

Somebody did some thinking for this one.

Jerry gets a fall back after a flapjack like move...but fails to get another fall when he tries to pin him again.

Styles-2 Lynn-1

Jesus, that was the best promo I've heard in weeks.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

Styles learned how to avoid that piledriver and back body drops Lynn off.

Lynn goes up to the top...and it costs him big time...as AJ grabs him and drops him on his face out of an Edge position.

I guess he pinned him again to take a 2 fall lead...but Tenay doesn't think so.

2 minutes left...and Lo Ki comes out with a ladder...which distracts Styles and Lynn tombstones him to gain another fall.

Lynn 2, Styles 3

AJ avoids the cradle piledriver...so Lynn hits the styles clash with one minute left to tie up the match at 3.

Backslide by AJ gets 2...rollup by Lynn gets the same.

They reverse pins but no one gets the fall.

10 seconds left...and they end tied as Lynn blocked the Styles clash.

They fought for over 30 minutes total, with no clear winner.

I said in my preview this was the second best way to go...

Lo Ki gets in the ring and raises both mens hands...then knocks them out with kicks. That wasn't nice.

He gets the mic...and says they will both get the shot.

Ki is one intimidating guy on the mic.

He says they will have a triple ladder match for the X title next week (taped later tonight)

So they'll have a rematch of the best match the company has had...with a ladder involved.

That's why I said it was a good option.

Don West pitches the next show (taped tonight)

Triple Ladder match for the X title

AJ Styles vs. Lo Ki vs. Jerry Lynn

Camera goes to the back and Bullet Bob is the mystery opponent for JJ.

sigh...

Well...the rest of the show was a success.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21
Posted

Obviously...that wasn't Bullett Bob...cause no old man looks like that.

So we don't know who the man was as we leave the air.

Not the worst way to end a show...with a cliffhanger that doesn't bother me any...as a JJ/Bullett Bob match would have been worse.

And the rest of the night was ALL wrestling.

I'm calling it... the Masked man was none other than the Road Dogg.

But it was a solid ass show!

I missed the Dupps tho...
