Speaking of Royal Rmble 2000, don't forgot the excellent show that followed it, No Way Out 2000.

see, that's the thing, i enjoyed royal rumble 2000 and 2001 and no way out 2000 alot more than either Summerslam 98 or canadian stampede or WM X and all of them more than WM X8.

the 1st three shows mentioned are unbelievable good shows but I am personally not a fan of the royal rumble match itself(including the 92 flair win). for every great segment, there are several segments of guys just standing around pretending to push the other guy out or hosses getting tangled in the ropes. i have always been bothered by that... really.

for no way out 2000, i think it suffers from the same problem that SS 98 and others do. after the initial showing, the thrill is gone. i know foley is falling through the cage. the tag teams that were exciting became cliched long ago. foley saying goodbye was truly a special moment. i still like the PPV but i don't know if i can still watch it o a daily basis like the shows I had mentioned previously.

X7 was better IMO X8 just lacked the knockout match that every great card requires it was solid all the way down but not spectacular and is nowhere near the top of my all time ppvs list

X-7 has been the Wrestlemania I've watched over and over again. Angle vs Benoit was gold from a technical stand point, McMahon vs McMahon, well that was great soap opera entertainment, and I just loved Shane's kendo stick shot to Vince's stomach. The main event was brilliant, a bloody, brutal encounter. The finish didn't detract from it at all for me, partly because JR and Herman were going nuts, and the crowd was on their feet and stunned.

The other reason I liked X-7 better: Kane Driving a Golf Cart
