Funaki then defeats him at Unforgiven to win the Cruiserweight title. That would be awesome. Funaki seems to have gained some bizarre cult following after jobbing so much. It would be totally awesome to have Funaki as the Cruiserweight champion. Heck, I might even consider buying a PPV with a Funaki singles match.

Have a bunch of people in black in white *looks more intense** doing everyday jobs saying.."I am Funaki" and close with Funaki saying something. I feel that would be funny.

Or just "The Funaki Sho", or just "The Sho"??

He allows the wrestlers to open up to him in character development, as opposed to saying corny jokes and catchphrases. That's why the Molly/Nidia angle works so well. First they show how the two different women react naturally to Funaki's presence in the lockerroom: Molly with righteously modest indignation and Nidia with her 'come on in' openness. If it were Lawler, Cole, or Coach intruding like that, Molly would have kicked him out in an instant, by herself. But notice that Molly as time wore on in the segment got more comfortable conversing with Funaki in front of the camera (and with Nidia topless to the side of her!) while wearing curlers in her hair--the Sho Funaki effect is working on her!

I've been imagining a simpler chant like, "FU-NA-KI, FU-NA-KI" ever since I heard SmackDown was coming to Toronto in October. I know I'll be there in my EVIL shirt trying to get the chant going.
