Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted August 24, 2002 Alright, there's been a thread of the worst shirts, now let's hear what the best ones are. 1) Kaientai - EVIL/Indeed!: This shirt is subtle enough to not scream "wrestling shirt" to people who see it. Backed by a very entertaining gimmick and the former hottest heel stable in all of wrestling, this is the only wrestling shirt I am ever likely to own. 2) Cactus Jack - Wanted Dead: Sure there's a toothless, ugly man's face on the front, but that man is GOD and GOD's accomplishments transcend aesthetics. Nice colours and design on an overall attractive shirt. The spin-off "FOREVER" shirt Foley wore at WM2000 is very nice as well, though I don't think it ever went on sale. There are also a couple of really nice Kawada shirts that look similar to the above: 3) nWo, Austin 3:16 shirts: Perhaps the two most lucrative wrestling shirts of all time. They began to suck once everybody was wearing them, but at the time they were introduced, these shirts were nice. Simple white designs on a black t-shirt. No stupid catchphrases with exclamation points on the back, just a logo. Maybe this'll allow the WWE marketing dept. to take a fucking hint and stop churning out crap for us to buy. Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted August 24, 2002 I wouldn't wear it in public, but the "Victim of the Crossface" shirt of Benoit is AWESOME~! I don't own it, but I want to. The yellow Hulk Rules shirt was simple and easy, and it sold millions. I don't own one, but many did. The Kaientai shirt, as already established, as well as nWo and Austin 3:16. The Hart Foundation shirt OWNED back in the day, with the huge skull-like Hart logo in the middle with "Hart Foundation" lettering. It ruled. That's all I can think of for now. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted August 24, 2002 I will vote for the Kaientai shirt, and an old Al Snow shirt I own that said "Got Head?" on the front and had a picture of Head on the back. My friends found it hilarious, and they never truly figured out it was a wrestling shirt because I usually would wear a shirt over it covering up the picture of Head. Guest SlowChemical6 Report post Posted August 24, 2002 1. Austin 3:16/Smoking Skull...probably the coolest WWE T-shirt ever. Sometimes less is more. 2. Austin 3:16/Blood From A Stone..."Austin 3:16" in dripping blood creates a very cool visual, as does the classic image of Austin passing out in the Sharpshooter on the back. 3. HHH/Not For The Innocent...once again, very cool visually. Great design, although I'm not sure what the slogan means. 4. D-Generation X/Two words...S*CK IT!...can't beat the original. 5. nWo...my favorites are the Syxx ball shirt and the second version (the original didn't have the sub-text "new World order" under the "nWo" logo). But the "4 Life" and red logo Wolf Pac versions were great too. You can't go wrong with an nWo shirt. 6. The Undertaker/Deadman Inc...once again, sometimes less is more. The best T-shirts seem to be the ones with subtle artwork. I liked the entire line of 2001 Taker shirts. They aren't too "in your face". 7. The Undertaker/Big Evil...the artwork on the front is sweet. This one could easily pass for a skater/surfer/band T-shirt. 8. Stone Cold's Texas Venom Longsleeve - My 2nd or 3rd favorite Austin shirt ever. 9. WrestleMania jerseys - These things are wicked comfortable and they look cool too. 10. KLIQ 5:96, from the Smarkzone site. I wish the WWE would do some spoof/insider shirts.
Guest What? Report post Posted August 24, 2002 I'll Make You TAP Out!-Kurt Angle: Screams pro wrestling, but it sure is cool. I actually adopted IMYTO as my catchphrase for a while. Cactus Jack-WANTED: I always wanted that shirt, but never had enough. Now I have enough, and BOOM, it's gone. Austin 3:16-Blood from a Stone: Utter, utter coolness Y2J-Barbed Wire: Jericho is god, barbed wire = cool. You got a winner!
Guest SlowChemical6 Report post Posted August 24, 2002 It's pretty easy to find the Cactus Jack shirt.
Guest raptor Report post Posted August 24, 2002 1. I think the Hurricane "Wassupwitdat" shirt is nice and understated. 2. Chris Jericho's original "Y2J" Hockey Jersey. The only wrestling shirt I own that I wear on a regular basis. 3. The consensus picks: DX, 3:16, nWo, Kaientai 4. Test's old symbol shirt was vague enough Looking at Shopzone.com, here's the one's I'd buy: 5. Rey Misterio "Aztec": falls under the Hurricane "understated" banner 6. Brock Lesnar: menacing symbol with no apparent wrestling connection. 7. Undertaker "Big Evil": again, a nebulous symbol with no huge "I WATCH WWE" signs on it. Actually (flame go ahead I'm expecting it)my favorite NWO shirt is the shirt they came out for nWo 2000 it was basically the nWo shirt except it was black and silver instead of black and white and it had the Band is Back Together written on the back I thought that was a really cool shirt as a WCW mark in 2000. One of my favorite shirts is Jeff Jarrett's Listen up Slapnuts! t-shirt, you can't tell it's a wrestling T-shirt at first glances and most non-wrestling would actually get a kick out of it. BTW does anyone know where I can find a Slapnuts t-shirt ?
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted August 24, 2002 only the simple shirts, like nwo original, dx original austin 3:16 original, kaienti

Guest The Superstar Report post Posted August 24, 2002 I love my "I'll make you TAP OUT" shirt, but wearing it in public has all these people I don't know saying "TAP OUT? WHAT'S THAT MEAN?!" I like the What shirt. Same sorta thing happens with this shirt, as it seems everyone I pass says "WHAT?" Y2J barbed wire is awesome, but i don't wear it much since it's SO BIG on me. Angle's "The Truth Hurts" shirt was underrated. I love it. I was thinking of getting the "Blood From a Stone" when it came out but sadly...I never did. BTW, what ever happened to Angle's accomplishments T-shirt? That thing ruled EVERYTHING! American Hero, it's true it's true. I'VE got Gold, how about you? Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted August 24, 2002 I'm amazed no one has mentioned the shirt I'm wearing right now: the white RVD shirt with aqua lettering...on the back it says I'm the F'N Show 4:20. It's still ultra cool looking and is vastly better than the WWE RVD shirts. It was also unique for an ECW shirt since it was white, whereas all their shirts were black. Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted August 24, 2002 The old Hart Foundation Tank Top still Rules All! The Jericholic shirt with the JD bottle was awesome too.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted August 24, 2002 Raven's WWF shirt is easily the coolest WWF shirt I've ever seen. Raven's ECW shirts were awesome as well... his WCW shirt looked pretty tacky though. And of course, the classic Cactus Jack "Wanted: Dead" shirt... I definitely think the Hurricane and new Rey Mysterio shirts rule too. Finally, XPW's Supreme shirt is friggin' AWESOME! Plus, since their shirts are only $20 I can actually afford to buy it direct from them...
Guest Ram Report post Posted August 24, 2002 Regal's "I've been Besmirched!" shirt was pretty funny for what it was. The WWE Euroshop has some cool shirts..were some of them at Shopzone and just gone or what? I don't remember ever seeing Steph's "Always On Top" shirt. Guest The Superstar Report post Posted August 24, 2002 I remember Saturn had a shirt there for a short time, on the front it said "You're Welcome!" and on the back was a picture of Moppy. ... ... ... My how times have changed
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted August 25, 2002 WCW's teeshirts were only 20$ as well, I have the old Booker T shirt from the waining days of WCW. Cool shirt. WWE's prices are out of control, but nobody else sells the stuff off of their site, so they can get away with it. I wanted to get the red Edge&Christian shirt, but didn't get a chance to, and now it's gone forever!
Guest HellSpawn Report post Posted August 25, 2002 My pick goes to... 1997's Hart Foundation/Bret Hart TShirt. It has a Black maple leaf (as background) and his logo (skull with wings) Look at that shirt on the Canadian stampede PPV or in Wrestling with shadows. I would die to have one of that Tshirts. Guest SlowChemical6 Report post Posted August 25, 2002 I don't care if people know that I watch WWE. I'm proud that I'm a wrestling fan. I want them to know that I watch wrestling. Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted August 25, 2002 Justin Credible use to wear a shirt back in his ECW days that said "Got Blood?" much like the "Got Milk?" slogan. It wasn't a wrestling shirt, and was just a plain back shirt with those words on the front and nothing on the back, however it was the most kick ass shirt that I have ever seen. The Sandman had a cool shirt during his ECW days as well. It was a white shirt with the Sandman standing atop a mountain of empty beer cans. His forehead was bleeding and he had his Kendo Stick above his head. On the back it said "Blood, Sweat, & Beers" Simple, but a good shirt. Those are usually the best shirts. The simple ones that you can't tell are directly related to wrestling. I can't imagine wearing an nWo shirt of Austin 3:16 shirts. To me those are dumb as hell. I don't want to have to explain my gear to people when they ask what it is.. seeing as how most people aren't wrestling fans. I'm going to have the "Got Blood?" shirt made since I can't find it anywhere. The Sandman shirt I saw in 3X at Hills back in the day when they were going out of business. I didn't buy, however not a day goes by that I don't kick myself for not buying it. The reason I didn't get it was because he was Hardcore Hak in wCw at the time. Heh. 1 week later he returned to ECW. Boy did I feel stupid. I can't buy shirts off of shopzone or anything. I have to have at least 3X and the WWE only goes up to 2X. Oh, I was going off at the local house show last week. I was like "How many people in this fucking line would fit into those fucking shirts? Most of your goddamn fans are beanbags.. sell to your customers, not their children!"

Yeah well I don't want to wear crappy t-shirts in public or even around my house and 95% of the WWE t-shirts today and in the past suck so I guess I won't be wearing any t-shirts around anywhere, so I should go fuck myself or something
Chunk 0 Report post Posted August 25, 2002 I like the hurricane one with the "H" on the front. I also think that Benoit needs a new decent shirt. his old one kicked ass, but have you seen his new "rapid wolverine" one? It SUCKS! ChUnK!
