Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Awesome does a running Powerbomb. Hall's is different. Plus, he has to let go somewhat, since you don't want the guy to land on his head.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted February 24, 2002 he also has to let so the other guy doesnt land on him. I'm pretty sure he aint too keen on having a 275 pound guy come down on the back of his head while his face is a few inches away from the mat.
Guest pinkslut Report post Posted February 24, 2002 i wasent talking about safety i was talking about looks and it looks shit.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I like the move. If he "let them gently on teh floor" they would either land on their head or Hall's head. Did you see Raw? I thought he slammed Rock pretty well, plus Rock sold it like a champ. Awesome's running powerbomb has injured a few guys, Booker T's head hit the bottom rope on Thunder once and he hurt his neck taking the move. Plus it looks sloppy IMO. Guest Flair5000 Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I like it too. If you want to talk about a move that really does look bad, try Nash's powerbomb. It looks SO lazy.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I think the Razor's Edge is one of the best finishers out there. It looks sweet and I have been a fan of it forever. Good thing it is no longer the "Outsider's Edge".
Guest HybridNetwork Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I like it too. If you want to talk about a move that really does look bad, try Nash's powerbomb. It looks SO lazy. Nash could at least TRY to make it look like he's driving the guy into the mat. He simply lifts the guy up and then gently drops him. Oh, my bad, the word "try" isn't in Nash's vocabulary. Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Nash's "Powerbomb" is more of a Powerdrop. Since he doesn't make his Powerbomb look like it has force.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 24, 2002 The Edge on Raw was pretty bad, but you have to remember, it is the Rock. He is pretty bad with not taking respectable bumps Especially on Finishers. He is the only one who's hands HHH lets go on the Pedigree (Besides Austin who has a bad neck) He has a death grip on Angle for when taking the Angle slam, Need I start with the Breakdown? This isn't a Rock bashing post, I'm just saying that is one of his huge flaws.
Guest HybridNetwork Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Rock isn't the only one whose arms break away when taking the Pedigree. I've seen numerous wrestlers take the move the way Rock does. Big Show, Jericho, Benoit, even Angle on occasion breaks his arms away.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted February 24, 2002 That's hardly accurate, since he takes other moves (Stunner, Gore, Anklelock, etc.) as well as or better than anyone.

Big Show, Jericho, Benoit, even Angle on occasion breaks his arms away. I know Angle doesn't break his arms away. I don't recall Jericho or Benoit ever doing it. And Big Show is fat. And the key phrase is "on occasion" Rock breaks away every time. And to the person who says that he likes how Rocky takes the Gore, what's to like about the unnatural triple backflip? Guest HybridNetwork Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Most of the time the wrestlers taking the move do have to break their arms away in order to take the bump properly and not hurt themselves. HHH very rarely keeps his arms locked and the only times he has was when someone like Jericho or Jarrett was dropping to a knee when taking it, I've only seen Angle take it twice without unlocking the arms. Once when HHH made his return on RAW and the other on a recent show, I can't remember exactly which one.
Guest Flair5000 Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I think Rock takes the Angleslam and the stunner pretty well, actually, a lot better than some people.
Guest HellSpawn Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I like it too. Like some guy said, Nash's move was the one that looks lazy (what a surprise).
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Rock sells the Stunner better then everyone else except Dlo Brown.
Guest HBK WILL ROT IN HELL Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Nash didn't always suck doing that i once saw highlights of nash powerbombing Goldberg at slamborree or some crap a couple of years ago and it was one of the best Ive eve seen. what has happened

Guest gthureson Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I dunno. I always thought the Rock's selling of the Stunner was bordering on cartoonish. Its kind of over the top.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted February 24, 2002 That's what makes it so cool, in my opinion. He flops around like a fish out of water. It's second only to Kurt Angle's "falling tree" approach to selling the Stunner.

Guest Flair5000 Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Angle's is just brilliant. Rock oversells sometimes but it's not a problem, I don't think.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I think it is a problem. You would never triple backflip and bounce off the ropes like he does.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Well, Rock may or may not be the best Stunner seller bu it's agreed that McMahon sells the worse.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 24, 2002 Yeah, McMahon is the worst, but Slaughter is best.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 24, 2002 I wonder how Mr. Perfect would sell a Stunner. He'll probably flip-flop all over the place taking one.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted February 24, 2002 The Rock is the worst for taking moves. When he takes the stunner he flys backwards, rolls around the ring, flips and bounces off the ropes before finnally lying on the mat.
