Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 OMG, Rikishi !!! AGAIN !!! At least there's.. Brock..
Guest evenflowDDT Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Anyone remember any specific Velocity match-ups from the Smackdown! spoilers (please post the match-up, not results please )? I seem to remember reading something about Lita on commentary... anyway, I'll see what's up, if it's just a run through the SummerSlam card with only two matches or so (it was three for the show before Vengeance, but SummerSlam is a "bigger" PPV, so there will probably be more hype), then it certainly makes my job as recapper easier
Guest BigPoppaKev Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Anyone watch Slamball. I had nothing better to do so I watched it. It was pretty entertaining.
Guest Downhome Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 What are they going to do, play by play on the spot that is the Stinkface? Are they going to pull out those things where they can draw on the TV screen and give us in depth coverage on how to perform the move the right way? This just irks me greatly, whoever decided to do this should be tortured.
Guest Downhome Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Anyone watch Slamball. I had nothing better to do so I watched it. It was pretty entertaining. I tried to one time, but then I realized that it is just a bunch of guys jumping around like morons bumping into each other over and over again. Suffice it to say, I think it's retarded. Some of the dunks look cool, but it is so over done that it isn't even funny. *ponders when some shmuck tries to do a parody on Baseball* Oh, wait, Selig is doing that right NOW in MLB, my bad!
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Here are Velocity SPOILERS :: Mark Henry pinned Mike Awesome after hitting a running powerslam. Tajiri beat Funaki with his "kick of death". Chuck beat Hardcore Holly with assistance from Billy and Rico. Randy Orton ran in to make the save. Randy Orton pinned Billy when Bob Holly ran-in and attacked Billy, alowing Orton to get the victory.

I can imagine Mark Goodhart doing a "Moving Right Along" column on the Stinkface for an April Fool's Joke... but the WWE is seriously featuring that on Confidential? Poor RetroRob!
Guest CanadianChris Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Damn...didn't even see this. Close mine, pls.

I don't even think I'll watch the shows tonight, I'm that irked about it.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I'll be the sacrificial lamb to read TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion's Velocity spoilers so I can post the card *non-spoiled*: Mike Awesome vs Mark Henry Funaki vs Tajiri Chuck vs Hardcore Holly Billy vs Randy Orton

Guest CanadianChris Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Jesus Christ, someone get Mark Henry a manssiere.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 They'll give anyone a commentary job, geez.
Guest CanadianChris Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 MANSSIERE!! WHY? WHY?? WHYWHYWHY do they insist on pushing Mark Henry??
Guest BoboBrazil Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 They should just fire Mike Awesome now and get it over with. Lita looks outstanding tonight. I don't know what she has been doing, but she looks alot better than how she looked before she got injured.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Awesome looked pretty good for being in there w/ a slug like Henry. Too bad Henry had to kill Awesome's finisher and get the win.
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 You guys shouldn't complain. I actually HAVE to watch Confidential for all of YOU. Not that I'm complaining or anything.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I agree about releasing Mike Awesome... maybe he can go to Japan and actually have a career. Awesome/Henry was the very definition of a heatless match.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I'd rather the just fire Henry. At least Awesome gives you something in the ring. What does Henry give you? Sure, Henry is making big $$$ on his contract, but cut him & take the hit now, and put somebody talented in his spot.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Lita looks outstanding tonight. I don't know what she has been doing, but she looks alot better than how she looked before she got injured. Its all in the make-up. When she did a few interviews in the neckbrace at Dr. Youngblood's office, she was amazingly ugly. Its all in the make-up that makes her look hot.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I feel very thankful that I forgot Velocity was on, thus allowing me to miss Henry-Awesome. My night is looking up.
Guest Flyboy Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I've missed most of Velocity.. hmmm... have I missed much?
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 So far, it seems to be just highlights.
Guest CanadianChris Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 You've missed nothing. Actually, you've missed less than nothing.
